I love this place. Great beer and hard seltzer’s. The people who work here are always nice and laid back, and the empanadas are fantastic. Glad they’ve been able to keep it going during the pandemic.

Great service! Good selection of drinks although some selections were tapped or sold out. Limited indoor seating but decent outdoor seating.

What a nice pub! Super cool vibe with great local beer and the good staff. I came here once while traveling but if I lived in this area I would visit them everyday. It’s that cool.

Small, intimate brewery setting with a good selection of craft beers. The herbal varieties were a bit intense in my opinion (watch out for the honey beer) but everything else was quite good and fresh. NOT dog friendly (though if you’re lucky they have a swing for 2 outside where you can sit with a pup, if you don’t mind the road construction outside). Staff was really helpful.

A comfy spot with sparse seating. Not ideal for a group of people, due to capacity limitations, but well-worth the journey if youre looking for a place to unwind for two.

A lovely little place serving their won great beer together with a more weird variety. They offer flights which I recommend you go for. Gets very crowded quickly, as does everything on Polk St.Ill return for their more common styles carrying my growler.

These empanadas are bomb. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite local bars, with AMAZING empanadas and interesting beers. Try the mushroom one! Im not a fan of their new layout -- difficult to stand and really tight space if you dont have a seat at the bar, I recommend going as a small group (2-3 people).

Our first brewery stop in San Fran. Had a flight with a stout, IPA, honey pils (?), and mango tart. All were very delicious.We liked the atmosphere there. It’s a very small little brewpub so it’s not too loud, very comfortable.Also had great service while we were there. The bartender had great detailed recommendations and was very friendly. We may well be back before our vacation ends!

Always a blast going there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The beer is unique but they have a selection that will fit anyones beer needs. Great vibes, good beer, and friendly people, it hits the mark.

Good beers, nice ambience, and nice service. The only reason I took away one star is its very small so its impossible to find a spot. I recommend the beer flight for $13. The empanadas are solid but I think mine got warmed up a little too long and was a little gooey.

Cool little beer chalet tucked in on Polk Street. Its a small place but makes you feel like youre at a ski lodge in the Alps (which is cool).The beer was pretty good (nothing amazing) hence the four stars.

A wonderful selection of craft beer by Woods Beer Co, which ranges from traditional styles to very eclectic. All of the beer pairs well with the empanadas. You can also get Woods Beer to go.The space is small and quaint but most weeknights its not too busy and Ive never really had a problem finishing a seat.

Every time I come to Woods, their beer is even better than before. They also have some really good empanadas.

Great, adventurous beers and excellent service. The Retro Pils is perfectly executed for the style and the Morpho is such an awesomely different brew that everyone loves.

Woods is an intimate place for a drink and small bites of good food. There are only a few tables, so expect to stand, but thats okay as the atmosphere is tight and friendly.

Like the atmosphere but beer is just ok. Dont like the spiced ones, pilsner had too strong of a flavor and missed that honey smoothness of a good one, ipas just ok.

Very cozy neighborhood bar and cafe serving El Porteño empanadas and artisanal beer. We came here for the Girl Scout Cookie beers. A flight of all five beers along with their corresponding cookie for $20 and a cute little pin were well worth it. The Brew-Ski-Do and Beerfoil were both light and refreshing. My absolute favorite was the Hopalong; a stout porter with chocolate notes and pb! I had the mushroom empanada, which took 20 minutes and came out sizzling hot and delicious. The only thing they need is ventilation! It got stuffy up in there. Also, for the Girl Scout cookie program, they need to give all five at one time. It was annoying having to go back and forth to try the beers; especially when its crowded and the bar is TINY.
