I like the fact that they carry the best selection of Pino Noir I can wish for and many other wines. Prices are a bit off but I don’t care since they are very consistent.

They had the entrance blocked off with mops in the shape of an X. We had to walk all the way to the back to take the employee elevator. Told the clerk I wanted some no. 21 smirnoff shooters, clear and precise, and he kept saying ive got green apple?! Never giving me a straight answer after I asked him, do you have any original flavors or what the price was. He just kept repeating ive got green apple. Then after approximately 5 minutes of this he proceeds to tell me how much it would be if I signed up for the rewards/membership, instead of just giving me the regular price. And to top it off, when he finally got to the register he was wrong about the original price, even though he was looking at it the whole time. It was 50 cents more per shooter. Clerk obviously meant well but it was overall a very unpleasant experience.

Easy to get to, to park, and they will carry heavy boxes to your car... what more can you ask for!

Convenient location in Geary that typically has street parking right out front. Open late as well. Crazy busy on New Years but that’s to be expected. Pretty quick otherwise!

They got everything you wish your local supermarket had.

Spoke to 3 different staff members in the 15 minutes I was in the store which was surprising that so many people wanted to help since that’s rare these days.I knew what I needed so I got out of there fairly fast. It’s impressive to see their selection at a much smaller location than I’m used to but they manage to squeeze everything you need in there.Got the impression that everyone was super friendly and they seemed to all want to help each other out as coworkers too.Good vibes.

I went in there looking to buy the top end of a Buchanan’s whiskey bottle. At first I’m wondering the aisles but there is so many bottles that you tend to get lost in there. I spotted an employee, I’m sorry didn’t get her name off of her name tag but she was a 5’5 skinny Asian female. when I asked her for assistance she rolled her eyes at me as if she was bothered by me interrupting her and quickly walked over to the whiskey aisles. She pointed at the Buchanan’s bottle and said here and walked away, I didn’t even get the chance to tell her that that’s not the bottle I wanted. I immediately walked out and decided to take my business elsewhere.

Good place for the store site on Geary.

I prefer the Bayshore store the staff is more helpful

Convenient for me to order online for curbside pick-up. They have a few specialty beers that I like and I have ordered from there to avoid the lines that some of the other grocery stores that stock them usually have. Unfortunately many of the items I have tried to order have been out of stock (despite saying otherwise on their website). Rather than calling to ask about substitution they package what they have for you. In my last two orders theyve only had partial amounts of just a single items on both orders in stock (there was another guy dealing with the same issue of a partial order when I was there last time, so I know its not just me).Today I called to verify stock before ordering and both people I spoke to pointed me back in the direction of their website in spite of me explaining why I was verifying what they had. I was able to actually convince one of them to check what they had in stock and she was nice and helpful from there on out. Honestly, I think I will go wait in the grocery store lines for my beer given the invonvenience Ive experienced in my previous (and now also attempted) ordering, but I gave 3 stars as I think the store has a great selection when theyre open to browse and their current service is great when it works, and Im understanding to the fact that everyone is trying to adapt to the current situation. I do however think its important for people to note the issue of orders only being partially processed, and I also think its important for the store to recognize this and either fix bugs in their website, or at the very least have their employees not give customers a hard time when they call in to verify what is actually there.

Tom was so great! We spoke to Tom about wedding recommendations for wine and beer and he really took his time to dive into our budget and find some really great recommendations. We really enjoyed our chat with him.

I just came in to do a quick wine purchase and when I got to the counter, one of the employees insisted that she help me out. She very kindly asked for my phone and within minutes got me a second bottle of the wine I was picking up for free by helping me sign up for clubbev. Made my night ☺️☺️

One of the biggest problems with this pandemic situation, it is kind of hard to fain a really good help especially when you are trying to pick up a product from this place. Thankfully there is people who are a very professional and helpful, few days ago i when to pick up a product and there she was a Russian girl helping me nicely and explaining a way to do this process of getting my items so professional thanks Russian girlFor sure next time i came back i will look for your help.

There are drive-up and go pick up spots in the garage. These are decoys; you will check in and wait a long time and nothing will happen. If you actually want to pick up your order, pull up front and go inside. No one is bringing out alcohol to you.

Smaller limited selection location, but staff are far more intelligent and professional than most of the Van Ness location!

Had bad experience with manager Tiffany. I couldnt return the beverage that I bought at a different BevMo store several hundreds miles away. Manager Tiffany denied to process the return without even looking at the receipt that I had. She rudely advised me to go return it back to the same store where I bought them. I told her where i bought them. Didnt make a difference. Honestly, didnt expect it will turn into such a big of an issue. So, 1 star.

My go to liquor store. Get the membership you get good deals and they have a big selection. My favorite are the descriptions on the alcohols as well as they have some fun stuff like novelty things you can buy as cool gifts

Great selection, but their wine options arent great. Lots of unusual stuff plus solid snack options. Prices tend to be on the high side. A good one-stop place for a party!

Friendly and helpful staff.

Wide variety for a relatively cheap price. For example, in the back corner, you can find every German beer possible, including a 5 liter for 16 dollars. They also carry holiday drinks in stock, such as alcoholic eggnog for all of us too lazy to buy rum and eggnog separately. Good for buying in bulk too, as I belive a 1.75 of Jim beam only costs 20 dollars. Service is nice for the most part, sometimes a cashier is snappy, but overall, better than other liquor stores.

Strange parking area and access to store. Elevator that reminds me of a really bad indie horror film. Enter and exit at your own risk. Holy bumper cars batman. You better have insurance if you plan to use this parking garage.All of that said, great selection of Sake. Thanks SF Bevmo, you guys are just weird enough to be in the city.

Whether youre buying alcohol for that occasional beer or planning a party, this is the best place to buy all the alcohol you need. I really like the deals on wine where you buy a bottle and get the next one for 5 cents!

Could have a better cold beer selection.

Big selection but prices are very high if youre not in their price club. I wanted to buy a top shelf tequila and their big price label said it was $58, which is higher than a good indie wine & spirits store. But when I got to the check out the price was actually $83 because I didnt want their price club bs. BevBoo! I got the same tequila at an indie store for $48.

We bought 5 bottles of wine. On the check out line, the cashier asked you want a bag?I said no. I want a box.This plump, Hispanic lady said the boxes are for 6 bottles. I am very low on boxes now.And I saw plenty of boxes.What kind of service it is? Gee wee. I would not want an employee like that.

RECOMMENDATION: Must VisitCOME HERE FOR: Selection of beers, wines, liquors, supplies and anything related to booze. Great place to pick up supplies for hosting parties. Also great to get ideas. Only slight drawback is you wont find a lot of wines from botique wineries.

Awful, worse experience ever. I went in just for a copy of the receipt for 2 Scotch I purchased for $ 59.00 BUCKS and the manager an Asian woman was ABSOLUTELY rude, extremely unprofessional, very unpatient. She said she couldnt do nothing but send an email to Corp and wait. (Which I dont understand) because they show be able to print it right at the spot.I felt like she didnt care at all about it and when I told her after she start arguing with me, that it is unlawful no to provide receipts for clients and even if they did, they are by law accountable to provide a copy of the receipt up to 1 year. She was having a bad day and decided to take it on me. Wrong person!!!!I will take my business elsewhere and will continue give them bad reviews until I get an apology and a copy of my receipt. PERIOD!!!!

One thing Ill assure you of is that they dont recognize regular customers. I live in the neighborhood so today I went to buy my weeks stock as usual. Suddenly they asked for my ID so I showed them. But they didnt accept because it was a foreign ID and they spoke to me like I dont understand the use of IDs for alcohol purchases. Im 33. Now Ill have to get a California ID to buy from here. It was disappointing to be treated so differently suddenly after months of being a regular customer. I dont get it.

Bought some whiskey here and it was as you would expect, very wonderful. helpful staff and be sure to sign up for a BevMo card as you get a minor discount on most things and it takes about 10 seconds.

This is the only place in San Francisco you will find Licor 43! They have everything you want, need, crave.

The folks working there are friendly and helpful and the prices are great. If you create an account with them you will occasionally get some great discounts.

A smaller, not super convenient (parking) or well staffed BevMo but still presents lots of options under one roof at the higher end of average pricing.

Huge selection of, well, everything drink related. Can be hard to find small lot items, but always plenty of more mainstream drinks. Great snack selection. Also glassware, cheeses, crackers, and most everything else you would need to stock a bar, or show up at someones house for a party.

Can pretty much find anything here. Beer, wine, hard liquor and party supplies. They are one of the few stores with indoor parking; garage is a little tight, so drive slowly.

The underground parking is convenient and always has spots. Store is of course a little small but Ive never felt like they lacked in selection compared to the larger suburban stores.

BevMo always has what Im looking for at a reasonable price. Their staff consistently APPEARS surly, but always surprises me with their helpful and friendly demeanor. The selection of beer, booze, and wine is always impressive. They even have a great selection of sodas!A tip - sign up for their discount club thing and dont forget to always give your phone number, youll save a lot of money that way. Also, strangely, 1L sizes of booze tend to cost disproportionately more than 750mL bottles... take note when you grab a bottle off the shelf.
