Basically like a dollar store, but of Japanese goods. Everything is cheap - but if thats what youre looking for, this is the place. Lots of fun little things like stickers and knickknacks, but also kitchenware, housewares, and a snack aisle. You wont find anything of great quality, but you will find lots of Its only how much? items. :-)
Great variety store in mira mesa. Love the collection here, everything is super cute. We could see Japanese life stlye, few products are really innovative. Cool collection of ceramic plates, cups etc. You will find everything for day to day life.Perfect place to buy items for small parties. Kids would love items here, definitely a fun place.Love their snacks and drinks too.
Store is well organized and separated by department such as kids item, stationery, laundry, makeup, gardening, bags, gadgets etc. things are cheaper then other places and hv good quality.
Nice store! I like getting Ramuné or japanese candy there and its very tasty! They also had this one Paw fan that was on clearance for $0.50 so I had to get it! Now I like using it when im on the go on a hot day. But they also sell toys, essentials, even cooking utensils!
Its like Japanese dollar store but cost more. Interesting gadgets. My daughters like the stationary stuff from Japan.
Daiso is the Japanese equivalent of the 99 cents store or your dollar tree that you would go to for $1 and.up items. The differences are that the products Daiso carries are super cute/kawaii and good for kids and adults alike. They have all kinds of things ranging from household items like bowls and cups to paint supplies, organization bins, gardening tools and even baking pans and trays. They even have snacks, sweets, makeup, and hair supplies. Everything starts at $1.50 and goes up from there. The store is very well organized and clean, and the employees are very polite and helpful.
Great selection of items and great customer service.
It’s a diaso, so I love it none the less. But the staff all seemed to be socially uncomfortable with customers in a way. Still a good experience, but it felt very odd checking out with a cashier that didn’t seem to enjoy the job.
This place is great. Its the Japanese $1.50 store. So many awesome and useful stuff here!
Love this place. Everything is super cute and well organized. And the price is unbeatable.
Great prices! Great stuff! Many of them I dont need but its so cute for me to buy them.
I love bringing my kids here to pick out some toys. Most things are $1.50 and the quality is very good. Also, the selection is great and the items are so cute. The store has Japanese products which bring together cuteness and practicality. They have household cleaning items, dishes, craft supplies, stationary, makeup, snacks, toys, storage items, gift wrapping and much more.
Great stuff at low prices.
Fun store. Great customer service
Great. Love Daiso. Not the best parking though.
Its kind of a Japanese Dollar Tree. No groceries but fun unusual stuff at inexpensive prices. Lots of variety to browse. They take 10 at a time so must wait in line but goes pretty fast. No pets allowed except service animals. Winter wear, office supplies, housewares, stationery, etc.
Cheap Japan stuff! Awesome
Kind clerks. Smaller than others but plce with everything
Great Store 4 very unusual things...
This store is well lit, well stocked, clean as a whistle, nice wide aisles.
Nuce place to pickup knick knacks. Only thing is availability is unpredictable
Very nice and so kawaii!
Asian 99 cent store 😂 actually quite a few useful things that we use often.
Good quality for cheap! Fun to just wander and look at all the stuff. They also have a Disney partnership with the CUTEST product.
Its Daiso. Better than the dollar store. Not quite Walmart.
Excellent prices and selection! I highly recommend. Also make sure to check out the other stores they seem to have different selections.
Nice clean store. Has a variety of items. From. Beauty items, handbags, of different sizes, childrens items, favorite snacks, kutchen wares so many things to see and buy. Things to make sushi.
A really good store for random home goods. From stationary to cleaning products to gardening supplies to cheap dishes, Daiso has it all! Most things are only $1.50 which is also fun. You can get a lot of things and not spend a lot of money. And even if you dont need anything, its fun to go and read all of the fun little phrases they have all over their products.
This store is great. I love walking through the store and seeing the cool stuff that they carry. Last time I got a chewy mango candy that was really delicious. There is so much to see in this store. Definitely check it out if your around it.
Very cute little place if youre looking for Japanese products at a good price. Wide selection of products ranging from snack food to small crafts, kind of like a dollar tree but the products are distinctly Japanese. The staff was very polite and Im sure Ill be visiting again.
Great place~
Cheap but good stuff
There is always a home product that I need here!I have an older motor home and found some great wall patches to hide some ugly holes from an earlier owner...worked perfectly! Japanese products are exceptional!
I love this store. So much cute Japanese stuff. And it’s cheap
Everything is mostly 1.50 and its all really cute things. If you have a planner this is the place to go to get some cute stickers or markers for cheap! I like to get their plastic bowls and cups for my kids. Very cute designs for a great price.
Exceptional products with reasonable price.
Such a cute store with so many amazing prices. Everyone there seemed super kind and it was overall an amazing first time :)
Super friendly staff.
This review is going to be like a short introduction to Daiso. In Japan, Daiso is a chain brand of 100 yen store, which is similar to the concept of American dollar store. So take Daiso as a Japanese version Dollar Tree. Since its Japanese version, you will find stuff more corresponding to Japanese life, such as various organizing stuff, stationery, more Japanese style kitchen tools, Japanese snacks, etc.For people who are looking for Made in Japan products, do you think you can find many Made in U.S at a Dollar Tree? Also, Made in China is of much better quality today. Overall, the quality of the products in Daiso is better than Dollar Tree, but its still a dollar store.
A little gem to find the coolest things!
Its a Daiso: a Japanese 99 cent type store franchise where they sell all kinds of cheap stuffs for cheap prices. You get what you pay for here, so dont buy things to last, buy things to use quickly.Cute erasers are one of the good products here. They make great choices for a small gift.Shower curtains, kitchen utensils like a cooking oil container are also good.Parking can sometimes be a problem at rush hours in the evening.Service is polite.
Wish it were bigger!
I could spend hours here they have so much fun stuff but i wish it was a dollar my mom yells at me for spending too much money
I love Daiso. This location is pretty large and well organized. All their goods are reasonably priced at $1.50 or otherwise started on large price stickers.
I noticed that many things are made in China. It says made for Daiso. I wonder how is the quality is different if it is made in China. I like their diaper pins which I use them as safety pins. They are really good. There are many little things which can be used in daily life such as gardening tools, glass bowls, knives etcI prefer to buy Japanese made stuff.
Oh gosh Daiso is a place where I spend $40 without knowing I did. Too many cute stuff that you dont need here but youll get it anyways. Avoid this place if you dont want to spend!
Very good love the place and friendly staff! So cute for school supplies!
Great little store. So many things that I have never seen before. Wish I wouldve come here first before I bought my coffee pot at Target. Lol.
Not a very big location but still cool
I dont actually go to this place looking for anything, but I always come out with at least 5 items. Great variety and prices!
Always a delight to visit this store either in San Diego or LA. The only thing is purchases are not returnable. I got 3 oil and acrylic canvases for $1.50 each. Really good price.
Great place for inexpensive finds
Place to pick up knick knacks
Super fun place. Im born and raised in the U.S., so its awesome to experience snacks and objects from a different culture. Everything is super cute!
I love this place for the snacks. You dont really find them anywhere else and theyre super cheap... but also amazing. Also, they have tons of cute hedgehog stuff that I cant stop buying, its becoming a problem.Tons of cute little odds and ends that you didnt even know you wanted, but you end up buying... awesome place. Love it.
Great store to wander thru and get cheap knick knacks. Some are useful, some are good gifts.
Good prices for decent quality products.
Clean and nice. Lots of interesting items, very inexpensive.
The parking here is horrendous, but there are a lot of great items inside. I like to stock up on the softest cotton puffs for removing makeup, gift bags, small storage baskets, and all kinds of neat goodies for use in my planner. They have great brush pens if youre into brush lettering. The staff has always been so kind.
Clean and organized and staff is always super nice
Impressed by their service and product. 👍
I like to come here with my cousins. They love it here! They love the different amounts of art stuff, toys, ect.
Always organized and clean. And I always leave with something clever I never knew I needed!
Always enjoy shopping at Daiso. Never know what you will find. First time at this location. Never leave empty handed. Highly recomend it.
The store is great. Lots of products available at good prices. Not as inexpensive as the Daiso stores in Japan, but I guess thats to be expected. Great place to buy Japanese snacks and the only place I know locally where I can buy Tabi socks for $1.50 each (toe socks or mitten socks as my kids call them)!
What a fun store
Almost every product is something Ive never even heard of. Definitely worth a visit
Great place to go for dollar items that are higher quality than the usual dollar store. The kitchen knife I bought 2 years ago is still sharp surprisingly. The staff ID is helpful and friendly on the floor and register. Only a few times I came in they ran out of items and it was due to high demand. (Sunshades for cars in summer)
Really nice place, theres a few things of everything. Most of the items there are 1.50 but everything Ive bought there is very quality and doesnt seem cheap at all.
Always a number items that you dont think you need, but end up needing. Love there notepads, very simple.
Variety of cute things you didnt know you needed. No returns so make sure you want it.
There are too many good things to say about this place so Ill just say one of my favorites is buying something with the translation on it thats guaranteed to make me laugh when I need it!For this trip I got a fanny pack, three different size toiletries containers for makeup, nail stuff, etc., An erasable FriXion pen, a cool glowing fiber optic lamp, double sided highlighters, a reusable shopping bag, a flashlight, and two watches to bring as a counselor for camp . . . all for 26 bucks!
I love coming in here and feel like Im buying the whole place. For $1.50, which most items are, there are many cute items to choose from. Keep in mind some of the items cost a bit more but the price will be posted at the corner of the items.
A Japanese dollar fifty store thats extremely bright, pink, and clean inside. Deals are really quite good. Lots of different items to buy from. Car accessories, kitchenware, toys, cleaning supplies, household items, snacks, and so much more. There is no refunds but they accept card over a certain amount. Really fun just to go and in and look at all the knick knacks, hard to resist not buying at least 1 item since its so cheap.
Daiso is a great store! They have so much cool stuff at unbeatable prices. Its pretty much the Japanese Dollar Store. I can spend hours in here looking through all the knick knacks. I always leave with something. How can you not? Its all $1.50 (unless otherwise stated).
One of a kind store with something for everything and everybody.Unique snacks, wide selection of Origami, clever kitchen and household utensils, amazing pens and pencils from all over the world.Although Japanese-owned it is 80% an outlet for mainland Chinese products supplies with notable exceptions from Japan, Korea India and even Italy.
Very clean and organized unlike the Dollar store. So many cute stuff in this place. I get all my office supplies here and only spend 22 dollars. Quality is good despite the price. I will definitely come back whenever I run low with my supplies.
Staffs are friendly, lots of unique stuff from Japan. Cant go wrong here. 4 star because no one is perfect
Its ait
Quick and easy stop to find small household items and some smaller asian snacks and knacks for ~$1.50. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and willing to help you out. Word of advice is to make sure you check the prices, some prices are marked higher than the general $1.50.
Daiso is literally the best thing for teachers or for a student wanting to become a teacher who has an unhealthy obsession with pens and stationary. Everything is cute, everything is cheap, and you can get amazing snacks after you’re done buying everything you think you need to organize your life! Honestly, roll up in here because the staff is friendly, you’re gonna find something you like, and you can get a dope haul for under $20. Broke college kids take note, too!
Kids love it
Better than a dollar store. More selection, many practical items, and lots of cute things youd expect from a Japanese store. My favorite part: they have things with skulls! 💀😊❤
I didnt manage my budget well since there were so many cute things to buy, but I did love the place. Wish they made one south of the 94 since I live in Paradise Valley. Overall, love the organization and cleanliness and variety. Neutral workers though. Coming back tomorrow ;)
