The best most honest, jeweler! While Shauna was taking her holiday break my long time boyfriend surprised me with a diamond engagement ring, he purchased at Costco because he saw it and loved it. I was anxious to get it sized, but it needed 2 1/2 sizes down. I stopped in 3 other jewelers who said they couldnt size the ring that much. They offered to make a similiar ring in white gold for the same price, I should just take the ring back. The problem, I loved the ring. Thankfully, since I had stopped in San Carlos Jewelers many times, I decided to wait. Shauna just shook her head, said the other Jewelers must not have the right equipment and said I could have my ring in about a week. The other jewelers were willing tell me it couldnt be done, so they could sell me a ring!!! Needless to say I now have the same ring, it fits perfectly, and I love it!! Thank you Shauna!

I had a wonderful experience at San Carlos Jewelers. Shauna helped me with looking at some rings even after she knew I wasnt ready to purchase just yet. She offered me different options and provided useful information. I came back later the same day with two watches that needed batteries and she replaced one on the spot and sent my other watch out for a needed watchmaker repair diagnosis and estimate. She got back to me quickly with the estimate and the watch was ready within a week. When I returned to pick it up it looked great and worked even better! A personal touch was that she asked a follow-up question about my daughter after I had shared a story with her the last time I was in - that shows that she pays attention and cares! I will be back and I suggest you trust San Carlos Jewelers with your jewelry needs!

I had the most amazing experience here today. Im not very educated when it comes to this, i bought my first necklace and the size was totally wrong and I brought it to this store super clueless on how to resize it and the wonderful worker here easily fixed it up in no more than 5 minutes for only $5!!!!! please support her and this local business!!!

I have had 3 jewelry repairs done through San Carlos Jewelers in the past 2 months: sourcing and replacing a missing diamond in an earring, shortening a fairly complicated link bracelet, and repairing a complicated double-spring box closure on a woven gold bracelet. For each of the 3, Shauna worked with colleagues who specialized in that particular type of repair. Each repair was completed in a timely way and with total success. And the costs were reasonable. Shauna is knowledgeable and helpful, and I would feel comfortable taking to her for repair my most valued jewelry pieces. The store is pleasant and has lovely displays. I feel fortunate to have this gem of a family-owned business in my neighborhood!

Shauna Miller at San Carlos Jewelers is the best! I had a silver ring my youngest son gave me years ago for a birthday present. It had originally had an oval cutout piece of an abalone shell in the center of the ring. That piece fell out and was never to be found. Shauna came up with the idea of replacing it with my sons birthstone (aquamarine). The ring turned out beautiful. The stone setting looks fabulous. This ring has a special meaning for me... I lost my youngest son in a car accident in 2008. Shaunas idea for the stone, and the excellent execution of the work done, is perfection!

I took my watch in for a battery replacement and was charged a fair price. The work was done while I waited. Later in the day I noticed the chronograph wasnt working correctly. I returned to the store just before closing to see if it could be resolved. The same lady looked up the manual for my watch online and and within 10 minutes made the corrections. I wish I would have got her name. She did in 10 minutes what would have taken me an hour. Just wanted to acknowledge the extra effort made and say Thanks again.

The beep on my very old (but beloved for sentimental reasons) digital watch quit working after the battery was replaced. This model of watch was discontinued twenty years ago so, of course, theres no on-line support doc for it. Shauna, the owner, was able to fix it and get my beep back. I couldnt be happier with the service at San Carlos Jewelers!

I cant praise Shauna enough. I thought my watch was dead after my son took it in my pool, Shauna took a quick look at it, replaced the battery and its working like clockwork again! This was a very sentimental piece for me and I was worried it was totally dead. I highly recommend this place!

If I didnt have to rate even one star I wouldnt at all, she seems put out when customers she doesnt think its worth her time come in and when you get a price its always the lowest possible, how is that the very best price they can and friendly she is not, you have to prompt conversation and its very one sided, there is no wonder shes not very busy no customer service skills at all UPDATE I HAD A FRIEND CALL AND ASK HOW MUCH SHE WOULD PAY FOR AN AMOUNT IN LESS DAYS THAN I HAD AND GET PRICE DOUBLED TO HER IM FURIOUS, expect to see me bright and early Shauna this isnt right at all.

My wifes jewelry was repaired with quality craftsmanship at a very reasonable price. Ill be back for other jewelry needs in the future.
