I made the mistake of buying an internet special (cheap) battery for my MacBookPro and started noticing problems within a few weeks to a month. I took the MacBook into Crywolf and they carefully diagnosed it, ran tests, sold me decent battery, and it is still running, 2 years later, with no problems.

Everyone at Crywolf is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind! Highly recommend them. I have an old Macbook and when I got in touch with Apple support they immediately quoted me over $800 for the repair. I took it to Crywolf and they fixed it up for a fraction of that. My computer hasnt run this well in years. Bonus points for their thorough COVID precautions.

My spacebar on my Mac was broken. Apple was going to take weeks to get into and I had so much homework to finish. Took it into Crywolf and they were AMAZING. They sanitized everything after each customer they helped. They were friendly and honest. They found out my Mac was still under warranty and fixed it for free. It only took a couple days and I had my Mac back in mint condition. The owner fix it herself and called me when it was ready. They also updated my software and cleaned my computer. So happy I came here.

Cry Wolf Computer Service and Sales is the go to place for full line Macintosh sales and service. The crew is always helpful, is working very hard to fill the gap left by the closed Apple Stores in San Diego County. Very clear estimates and superb communications regarding your machine and questions. I bought my new iMac from Cry Wolf because I like having professionals set up, install and check out big investments. As I write this, I do not know whether or not they service other systems, too. I highly recommend them without reservation.

Called Apple for quote on a screen replacement they said it would be $500 and I could take it to cry wolf their authorized service center and that would be the price. I went there and the said the price would be $840 more than $300 difference. Will never take anything to these freaks. Local computer repair is $800

My iMac needed some warranty repair and Crywolf proved to be a capable partner to help solve my issues. When the original part from Apple was defective, they went out of their way to make the second repair easy and pain free. I will definitely be using them for all of my Apple service needs!

I recently brought my Macbook Pro into Crywolf for a keyboard repair, and they went above and beyond every expectation. They were able to fix my computer within a few days, and Greg followed up to let me know about a screen issue that was covered under AppleCare (Something that probably wouldve caused more issues/cost down the line!) Incredibly responsive, professional, and I couldnt be happier with the repair. Computer is running like new!

As an owner of an older MAC laptop I had a great experience with the computer experts at Crywolf. They were very friendly and most of all very knowledgeable, made great suggestions for avoiding future problems. I was very satisfied with the service and especially the fact that they were able to salvage the computer to the point it is working as if it were brand new and not nearly twelve years old. The turn-around time is about a week or so but definitely worth the wait. I believe they have been certified by Apple and were recommended by the Apple store after it no longer had access to outdated software. Highly recommended for anyone with an older Apple product!

Brought in a 2017 iMac that gave up the ghost while trying to upload Big Sur. This team took over and found the problem quickly, then offered a good deal on a replacement hard drive. The new HD is ten times faster than the old one and I couldnt be happier. Better than an Apple Store.

In the past I had done business with these guys a few times when they were repairing Apple machines. The last time, which was probably a few years ago, something about the mannerisms rubbed me the wrong way. Perhaps it was the straight forward, blunt way I was spoken to, and I was just asking questions trying to figure out the best way to take care of our Apple computer needs. I had thought I would patronize a local business, instead of Apple (which has always been good).Today, I called to see about replacing a Mac Air, and replacing a Macbook Pro with an iMac that could perform well to run Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro X and maybe even Superior Drummer 3. Didnt get the name of the person who spoke to me, but he was pretty matter of fact and straight forward; probably what most would call, patronizing. His last statement was that he didnt have time for this (talking to me) and that if I wanted to order machines from him I can meet with him and we can take care of it then.Hopefully you have a better experience. I wont be going back, and it probably doesnt even matter. If I hadnt had the similar experience a few years ago I couldve attributed his behavior to stress, and blame it on COVID-19. Sad. If you know exactly what you want and need, and you prefer to support local businesses, your experience probably wont be such a disappointment. Enjoy!

Despite the situation being a major bummer (a Macbook Pro with an expanding battery that was ruining the entire top case), the experience of working with Crywolf was fantastic! Lauren, Gale, and Nancy were three of the kindest, most helpful people Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with in a repair type situation. They were honest, understanding, upfront about all work and pricing and made the entire process painless and manageable! ALSO, despite being very backed up with repair work, they had my fix completed at least a half a week ahead of schedule! Apple certified, convenient and honest! Go here...you wont be disappointed!

Great place for Mac repair! Authorized by Apple and not as snooty as the Genius Bar at the Apple Store at the mall. Its not a charity, but they can fix most problems as long as your hardware isnt too old and they can still get the necessary parts. Nice people. Very satisfied with CryWolf. They also sell a whole line of new Apple hardware and peripherals.

Great experience! The staff was incredibly professional and helpful. Everyone I interacted with was on the same page about what was going on with my computer and the teamwork was very impressive. Only downside would be they are a little pricey, but it comes with the confidence that they are doing a spectacular job.

I used to work in IT so I have a solid understanding of how computers work but these days I trust Crywolf for all my computer service. The folks at Cry Wolf are simply the best. First off, you can walk in and actually talk to someone without all the craziness of an Apple Store. The prices and products are the same, but the service is at a completely different level. They worked on my original iMac, first upgrading my hard drive and then replacing it when it eventually failed 5 years later. Any time there was a problem I could get on the phone and talk to the person who actually worked on my machine who would walk any through any issues. I recently got a new 2017 iMac and needed a massive (3.5 TB) data transfer and system reorganization. When one of my programs wasnt performing, the tech spent over an hour with me in the store, walking me through the issue and brainstorming together how to fix it. Now thats customer service! Things may take a bit longer (small, independent shops are last on Apples fulfillment hierarchy), but the service and commitment to customer satisfaction are totally worth it to me. Id give them 6 stars if I could!

Crywolf computers was superb in customer service and expertise. Loren was so gracious in explaining all of my options for data recovery and replacement of my failing hard drive, up front. My MacBook Pro (2010) was restored with all of my precious data saved by Vincent and a new (reasonably priced) hardrive was installed all within 4 business days. I am an artist, and every pertinent file was restored! I highly recommend their services.

AMAZING SERVICE! Especially for the price! I walked in with a corrupt mid 2015 macbook pro. Hard drive crapped out on me while partitioning drives for bootcamp. Unfortunately, it was a pretty technical mishap and needed data recovery. I had 9 years of files that were backed up to an external hard drive that also went bad. Lauren and Greg at Crywolf saved the day! Pulled all of my data back onto the laptop in a single day, 360GB worth not lost from a corrupt hard drive. Price was below 500 with expedited 24 hour service (normally a 6 day wait!) Thank you so much crywolf, not even Apple could fix this one!

Took my 5 year old iMac in to have a failing hard drive replaced and add more memory. Bill at the service counter was very friendly and professional. He spent time explaining the costs and the process. Since this is my business computer I requested a rush of 1 to 2 days. Within 24hrs I got a call it was ready to go! Took it back to my office, fired it up and it ran like a new Mac. Great customer experience! I highly recommend this place.
