I would not recommend bringing anything to this place to sell..I brought them 7( excellent condition) pairs of designer jeans that were size 34 to 36, they didnt want any of them . I asked them what would you sell pair of these jeans for if you were to sell them??? ( I just wanted to see if they were going to offer me some ridiculous amount) She said we dont tell people any prices unless we buy something. I was like you have to be kidding me,They wouldnt even tell me what they would sell a pair of designer jeans forso very very unaccommodating place I would not go near there again.
Great selection of clothing at mostly decent prices.
Sam and Jen, as a matter of fact everybody that works there super cool and super helpful and its a great place to go to get an expensive clothes accessories and you name it
Went in to sell clothes. The people are nice but the system is confusing at best. I brought in many pieces that were current and in style but they only picked out two basic t shirts. Definitely a cool concept though! Just dont expect to clear out your closet
Amid COVID, this Buffalo Exchange keeps pretty strict rules about their capacity, but this doesn’t mean I couldn’t find any gems.I think this location has some of the best selections and I always end up checking out with an item or two. Everyone who works here is nice/helpful. My only gripe would be that at times - the racks are somewhat disorganized.
Buffalo is the best. Kinda expensive but great value rather cheap...
Very popular place, people were going in & out, didnt buy anything but my daughter-in- law did.
Staff was nice but would not waste time trying to sell here again. I think its in a weird location and dont sell a ton, so maybe thats why they buy next to nothing?
Decent stuff, prices are alright but I wish there were some better shoe options. Maybe I just came a little too late in the day🤷🏽♀️
Employees are super nice and helpful, the clothes are nice, and they have loads of cool shoes and purses. Im a plus size gal so theres not much that fit me, but they have a lot of super cute earrings and other jewelery.
Very clean and professional appearance. proper precautions have been made to keep everyone safe. friendly and helpful staff also!
I went into this location on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago to sell my clothes. There was a few of us in a queue around 10 AM but the staff was really nice, esp. the manager. The manager ended up buying 90% of my stuff and was super helpful throughout the whole process. Really great experience selling here.
Very friendly guy by the door helped my sister with some Band-Aids. Good selection of clothes.
Im doing my best to support small business, but walking in a store where people are not doing their part to protect others is ridiculous. I saw other people inside the store without a mask and left. Because of irresponsible pleople, other business are forced to close
I went with a big carton of clothes and they barely offered me $5 for few pieces of clothes in excellent condition. They threw the rest back into the carton saying those wont work. I sold all of those clothes online on Poshmark for much deserving amount. Id never go back to Buffalo Exchange. Id even recommend people to check out online apps to sell clothes.
My girlfriend likes coming here but won’t anywhere due to the large and consistent presence of drug-using vagrants outside their store DAILY for weeks. It’s insane they don’t call the police to help clean up their store front.
I came in to sell clothes today, & specifically brought in clothes that were in season so I could have a few dollars in my pocket. A few dollars is what I left with. The buyers here at this location clearly are not trained properly and don’t know what they are doing. For the items that they don’t buy from you they tell you that the store already has enough. They ended up picking one pair of shorts from the 10+ items I brought in for $3. I saw them do the same for the couple that sold right before me. I will not be selling my clothes here anymore because I feel as though the managers here have a sub par eye when it comes to fashion. The customer service was nice and friendly but would not recommend this place if you were trying to do business. I’ve also bought jeans from this place and they had holes and were damaged and I did not receive a discount when I brought it up. I was told that the hole in the back wallet area of my pants was supposed to be like that and that just took away my faith I entrusted in Buffalo Exchange. Only go here if you want some trash. Not satisfied very disappointed with the lack of knowledge from the staff.
Buy most of my clothes here, good condition and good prices. never had a bad experience here and all of the workers are nice.
Excellent customer service. The jacket I brought was of good quality. Will be shopping there again!
I’m very satisfied with my visit to this location. The girl buying my clothes was super fashionable and had a good eye for fashion. I was very lucky to have her sort through my clothes. This buyer wasn’t looking for brand name clothes, she was looking at each item by what is instyle. I really appreciate because most of the clothes I was selling was unknown Japanese brand. Buyer looks like an instagram model and was super nice. Also you can find free parking in this location.
Ive heard so many good things about the store thru friends and people I know. I was very surprised when I took in 5 bags of items to sell specifically and sold none. I was told they were looking for Halloween and fall items. I had swim wear, sweater dresses, fall items, shoes, accessories, belts, lingerie, wallets, etc all brand new with tags and was told that none of the items were in trend or was what they were looking for. Swimwear I understand but the rest? I couldnt believe it. But oh well, Im taking my items somewhere else. It was just a bummer that in 5 large trash bags not a single item was bought. The staff was nice about it, but I just wont be back here to sell or buy. Hope your experience is better than mine!
If I could give no stars I would. They Had a terrible selection! All the clothes looked the same and were in pretty much the same size. There was little to no plus size options. The only decent items in the store where the bags.
I have sold clothing twice at this store and the lines to sell your clothes can be very long. I have waited between 10-30 minutes to sell. The people behind the counter are fast and efficient. They dont have time for small talk and need to spend that time considering the items carefully. They KNOW their customer base, so while many people are offended that they only bought one item, they have their reasons for it. They dont have time for chit-chat and couldnt possibly explain to each customer why they dont want each piece of clothing. If they did do that, people would be complaining about how long they had to wait in line to sell, and wouldnt return. They check the tags, the condition of the garment, consider the season, decide whether or not it might sell, and determine what they could sell it for, all very quickly. Just because you take in designer items (along with non-designer items) doesnt mean it is something that would sell at this particular store, at this particular point in time. They have purchased both designer and non-label clothing from me.I always cash out (rather than taking store credit) because I do believe the items are overpriced. BUT, if they lowered their prices then they would have to give their sellers less money for their items. Thats the way business works, so I am personally happy reselling my clothes here.I am giving it 4 stars because I always wish they WOULD buy more, but I am happy with my experiences there.Thank you Buffalo Exchange for recycling clothes!
Worst shop to sell clothes. I brought in a basket of folded clothes to see if they liked anything and after they went through it, one girl dropped all of the clothes on the ground, then picks them all up without folding any and shoves them into the basket carelessly. They are all now dirty and wrinkled. They also pay bottom dollar for name brand clothing and pick from what each teller personally likes. I brought in the same pair of pants to another worker and they bought them. Very unprofessional, the majority of customers selling that I saw were homeless, try Plato’s Closet.
Offers great thrifty clothes that are higher quality than your average thrift store. Be greeted when you first walk in by friendly staff who vocally greet you with a smile. You are also able to sell your own clothes there but due to their higher quality selection be prepared to get more than half of what you bring in rejected.
Entered with an entire box of neatly folded barely-used modern clothes — they accepted none of it and had the audacity to throw all of the clothes back in the box without folding them to their original state. Will not be shopping or selling here ever again.
Good selection of used clothes and accessories. Most were like, or close to New. Employees were friendly. Easy to find through Google maps. Wide range of sizes too, from really small to plus sizes.
Awesome resell clothing store. You can find some brand new things and even Lululemon also in great condition. You can even get some extra cash if you sell clothes that are in good condition that they select.
I absolutely LOVE Buffalo Exchange! The employees are great and so nice. The prices are super affordable!
Super friendly and helpful staff. The clothing was unique and intuitively organized. I found a bunch of pieces that I loved and Im really happy about my purchase!
Buffalo Exchange has a great selection of womens and mens clothing, shoes and accessories. The best thing about shopping at Buffalo Exchange, is the unique vintage styles and the new and designer styles. Lots of choices at comfortable prices.
Everyone that works here are super friendly and helpful. Place is kept up, never disorganized. I have been here several time and usually find something I love.
Very clean and nice. Better prices than retail, but not quite that thrift store prices you dream about. Overall a great store.
Great experience for both buyer and seller. Buying most trendy and classic styles. Always a hit when your looking for cash for your gently worn swag.
Sold $120 worth of store credit and got a bunch of new cute stuff! Staff was really cool and fun to talk to while I was waiting to sell my stuff!
Decent place to get some used clothes. Theyll buy as well but not sure how much you will get it. Nice option for those looking for something old school that might fit there style….
When I lived in Mission Beach, I practically lived here. Lol Great finds. Love this place!
Great place coolest items you wont find anywhere else. Great staff
I thought the store itself was really cool, but was very disappointed that upon bringing two large boxes of gently worn clothing in to sell, they purchased 1 item for $5.00. It was a waste of my time...very disappointing....unless you have extremely unique or vintage stuff youd do better yard selling your items.
I have been trading here since the mid 90s (they used to be down the street then) and have always found it to carry great pieces at great prices. I love to take in a pile of things I no longer wear and walk out with a few new things.
Went to this location to sell some items and the managers instead of checking the items, they were being really talkative asking us questions about our lives.I just saw them pulling things and putting them on the side without even taking a slight view while chit chatting with us, felt like i just waisted my time at this store, definetly take your clothes somewhere else.Just gave them a 2nd star because of them being nice, but need to pay more attention to the items instead of customers lives!!
Beautiful pieces. A must for artists or whoever likes unique outfits.
Ive always been a fan of Buffalo Exchange, their selection it typically great and the prices are fair, however I would warn anyone about selling items here. The last time I sold clothes in exchange for store credit they took down all of my information and said that theyd have it on file for when I wanted to cash it in. When I returned to use my store credit, they told me that they only store information on their system for one day so unless I used it the day I sold there would be no record of it (none of this was disclosed to me at the time). Needless to say, I wont be returning to this or any location to buy or sell items again.TLDR, selling clothes to Buffalo Exchange is a scam.
Ive thrifted all my life. How else can you afford to mindlessly finger through tops to let the day off or use shopping as therapy without banking the break :)? With that said, I came from Goodwill, Baras, Deseret and Salvation as an adolescent - when thrift shopping was a humble endeavor. Buffalo is the fine wine of those days, and while some may argue that Buffalo is pricey, I can honestly say that my purchases here have spent more time in my closet and been moreso cherished than my purchases from other thrift stores. You pay more for joy and selection per piece, with the option to trade if you so dare. All in all, thrifting alone is magic, but if theres a step up Buffalo made the example. Alchemy? Whatevs, you get it.
I love this place, I can always find something I need every time I visit. The staff is always prompt and helpful!
Prices were high but the selection was well curated and of good quality. The whole staff was really friendly.
The clothing selection was decent but I was more disappointed with the customer service. One girl in particular had a bit of an attitude problem that I noticed her having with not only me but another customer as well and another in the past.
Nice place, found amazing outfits and styles there that Ive never seen before :)
Huge selection, helpful staff and perfect holiday top!
I havent ever bought anything from here but as far as selling goes, its really hit or miss. It depends who you get. Sometimes you go and they buy nothing, sometimes they buy a lot.
Used clothing is in good to great condition, but sells for a little more than I would like to spend on used clothes.
Perfect for shopping on a budget, but extremely picky when trying to trade in clothing for cash. The tiniest stain, thread pull, or hole will not pass.
A used tank top selling for $16....really....
You could sell clothes and even buy. I sold couple of them. They determine the price and youd get after a percentage deduction.
Would only give $2 Off a $20 pair of pants that had smudges all over it... half off would have been appropriate
Nice quality clothes but mostly womens options not much for men
Im From St.Pete, Florida. Its Hard To Find Vintage Style Thrift Stores Back Home, So I Was Stoked When I Stumbled Upon This Gem. It Felt Like I Took A Step Back In Time. The Staff Was Friendly. It Was Getting Close To Their Closing Time (35 Minutes Before) They Made An Announcement 15 Minutes Before They Closed Saying If Youre Going To Try Stuff On, Do So Now As We Will Be Locking The Door In 15minutes ... I Thought It Was Nice That They Gave This Warning. I Really Liked The Clothing Options and Of Course I Made A Purchase. My Only Complaint Is, Things Seemed Over Priced. Prices Arent Marked By Brand Name, But Instead By Type Of Item. For Example Sweaters =$20 No Matter The Brand (at least from what I noticed) My Husband Was Going To Also Get A Sweater, He Even Tried It On. However When He Looked The Brand Name Up Online, You Can Buy The EXACT Same Sweater Brand New At K-Mart For $2 Less Than The Buffalo Exchange Was Charging. Needless To Say, He Didnt Buy The Sweater. If I Could Make A Suggestion I Would Suggest Marking Prices Based In Brands Rather Than By Item Type. Had The Prices Been Better I Would Have Gave 5 Stars Instead Of 4.
Nice selection of used clothes guys selection definitely smaller but some good stuff
It was fine. A little overpriced but very cool merchandise.
I love this place because the different variteys of clothes and shoes are endless.
If youre lucky you find good and cheap clothes. IF..
Up-scale thrift store with rude stuff. My girlfriend and I were was almost shoved out (metaphorically) and they have no patience to stay past their closing time just a few minutes.Did not like the service but it is a nice store inside.
They charge quite a bit for used things and dont gove you very much at all when your selling them clothing and other things. I wont go back.
Love shopping here, lots of great stuff.
Rude, dismissive and un-helpful. If you want to feel like an idiot when trying to sell your clothes, this is the store for you.
Awesome selection! Cool stuff!
Friendly staff but not much return credit/cash for big people clothes...or to purchase.
They have stylish clothes at relatively good prices
The best place for clothing and shoes
Great place for 2nd hand stuff
This place has great style!
Significantly overpriced for used clothes... They gouge the sellers and then jack up the prices. I wont return. Id rather donate my clothes than wait in line only for them to barely look at my items and give two pitiful offers (out of over 20 items) for new clothes with tags.
Good clothes and nice people!!
Lots of selection with a great staff and chill vibe
Lots of stuffGood prices
Great deals and nice treasures to be found!
Depends on whos buying, theyll buy alot of your stuff or non.
Good deals its a hit or miss on some prices
Not a lot of buy backs for urban designer clothing just mainly vintage clothing.
Like it cuz theres a lot of new stuff.
Excellent trends great people
Geared towar the younger generations
They will not buy your cloths
Great selection of clothes
Over priced and they gave me half the price what my cloths was worth most the cloths I recycled was brand new...this place blows if there was an option to rate it Zero stars I would
Unique finds!
Nice
Very little for men
Perfect!!!
Friendly staff
Overpriced
