Oh my goodness!! The beer selection is phenomenal! The gentleman who helped us was amazing (sorry I didnt get his name!) We needed help finding a few beers and he knew exactly where they were! Also an amazing wine selection, but we were beer shopping today. Definitely will be back!

Excellent wine tasting! They have very friendly staff who talked to us through the world of Argentinian wines. We could order glasses of different wines even if the bottle wasnt opened yet. Excellent service. The Chardonnay and White Zinfandel were the best we could find in here so far. We totally recommend this place if you look for good wine!

This place is fantastic! A fun place to hang out with your friends, and they still have a treat or surprise for their customers. The management and staff were very welcoming and polite. The setting is comfortable enough for you to feel at ease right away. This is one of my favorite places to enjoy wine. Id come back here again in a heartbeat.

This review is for their online business.I was a little leery as this is a small operation (relatively speaking) vs the monster online wine companies. Worried they not be able to handle the shipping across country.  But I took a chance as their prices are very competitive with the big online store and their selection is better in as it seems to be more discerning at the various price points and customer service is definitely a step up.   Communication was great, shipping was prompt and wine was well packaged.This experience makes me wish I could explore their brick-and-mortar store as sounds great, I sadly am way too far.  Surely will stop if I am visiting the area. For now I will have to explore their online selection.

My colleagues and I had drinks here late at night to unwind and chill. We were politely welcomed by John, our server. He was very accommodating and funny. We had some really good wines. But, we enjoyed the service of John. He took a lot of photos of our group from different angles. Overall, we had a good time!

This stores architecture was incredible. All was handled in a professional manner. I stumbled upon this downtown beauty shop and was immediately enthralled by the extensive selection of makeup and cosmetics on display. Employees were friendly and accommodating. This is my go-to wine shop. They have a great selection of wine and beer, too. Their rates were way cheaper than other wine stores in the city. Here, I love the atmosphere and the coffee! This is an ideal place for a book to relax and enjoy. They have outstanding service and very friendly waiters. A wonderful hidden gem with a laidback atmosphere that makes you want to linger for a long time. I enjoy coordinating meetings here because they also have delicious food at a very affordable price. This wine shop has a lot of various wines to choose from. From white wine, which is my favorite to red wine and champagne as well. Also, you could taste their very own wine, which was placed in a barrel. Aside from wines, they had also beers that you can try. The place was so relaxing and elegant as well. San Diego Wine & Beer Co. is the bottle shop I frequent the most to buy craft beer in San Diego county. They have a great selection and variety of all styles of beer, mead and cider. And if youre into wine this is the place to go!

These guys are the wine nerds. They have a special knowledge of wine and are happy to talk to you about different styles and regions of the world. You are going to find some really great bottles here. I have found several of the Wine Spectator Top 100 bottles that I love to share with my employees. Their prices are excellent.

I dont normally write reviews, but in this case I have to give a 5-star rating. Their selection and prices on unique wines is fantastic. And now I like beer too, so its pretty much my favorite place to go in San Diego.

We went here to find some Portuguese wines... They had a very small selection but exactly the ones we were looking for! While we were there we also found a Spanish wine and stocked up on beers. The prices were about 15% cheaper on the Portuguese wines than what we actually paid in Portugal! So naturally we had to buy $200 worth! Hahaha... The beer selection is a curated selection. They have some of the well-known things.. but also many more of the Obscure things. I would recommend any beer connoisseur brows to their inventory.

Their website is informational and is easy to buy wine. When I got there, I called them up and they bring out my order in a minute or two. Super easy and super safe. I need my vino during the pandemic and they have good quality wines at a great price.

Great selection of not just wine but also craft beer. Better prices than other wine stores, organized by variety and region (American wines have their own half of the store). Store does tastings as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the few recommendations from them have been good buys. Only downside of the store I can think of is their hours, they close at 6 most days.

I have been doing business with San Diego Wine Company for at least 10 years. It is hands down THE BEST wine store in San Diego!!! The owners, along with their entire staff are always a pleasure to do business with. They are extremely knowledgeable on the wines they carry and are always there to lend a helping hand and point you in the right direction, whether for an everyday type of wine selection, a gift, or a special occasion bottle. Their recommendations are always spot on. They have a HUGE selection and their prices are the best around. I highly recommend this wine shop to all!!!

They have tons of wine but cant speak to the value as I came here for beer. They have a wide variety of local stuff. Some of the 6 and 4 packs were a bit pricey $12-17. Lots of single can selection and 22oz bombers. Staff was very attentive and helpful.

Great social media which is what led me to them but the selection is not nearly as good as I expected when it comes to beer and I could never figure out their merchandising in order to find the beer that they list on untapped.

This place has an absolutely awesome beer selection for you beer snobs. The cold beers are mostly hazys and IPAs. Great selection from the likes of Revision, Abnornal, Burgeon, Bottlecraft and much more. Individual cans of the IPAs range from about $3 to $6. The more expensive ones being doubles. The cans and bottles of stouts, porters, sours and barrel aged can be much more. Overall, excellent stop for beer. Even my extremely snobby beer loving friend thought it had an amazing selection. Lota of wine too but Im not knowledgeable when it comes to that. I hope they eventually start stocking Green Cheek!

San Diego really has no great wine shops but this is by far the best bargain wine shop in the county. Ive found some of the staff here to be knowledgeable and others are inexperienced. Ive had really good success with Italian and Spanish wines here.
