Neighborhood institution! - we’ve come here for many, many years, and they have just about anything you might want in terms of adult beverages. Sometimes their specials or sales prices make them more competitive than supermarkets, but generally expect to pay about 10-20% more. I especially like that they have a propane exchange service “Lava” is the brand, and it’s $19.99 (+ tax) but you can exchange your 15 lb empty for their 17 lb full tank (so you get about 12% more for about the same price as you’d pay elsewhere for an exchange). Much quicker and easier than Ralphs or Ace Hardware. Seems as though it’s family owned/operated. Staff are always attentive and friendly.

Great service... they go out of their way to be helpful and have a really diverse and well stocked store.Prices aren’t to bad. Maybe a little higher than the grocery stores but the convenience and availability of all types of beer, wine and liquor.I love these guys!😊😊😊

This little out of the way shop really surprised me when I walked into the middle of what I can only consider a plethora of fine and well supplied spirits from wall to wall containing what I can assume is enough of a diversified assortment to make even the pickiest connoisseur enjoy their visit. Very fair pricing on the wine selection which in my opinion was not like anything you would expect at a regular little off the path liquor store nestled back at the end of a neighborhood. I have just moved into this area and was looking for something local within walking distance just to kill some time and I was glad to have come across Cottage Drive-In-Liquor. I really could not find a single thing wrong or out of place until I noticed the one thing that normally stands out inost liquor stores are the displays of beer...which were missing...Not to be discouraged! The shop owner pointed me to the back of the store where typically all the beer would be stocked in the coolers. However, as I suspected the cooler cases were stocked with wine as well, chilled and ready. The owner just pointed to the door in between the two coolers which I hesitantly walk through only to find myself surrounded from one end of the cooler to the other with a fantastic assortment of handcrafted IPAs and other assorted beverages, just a real treat. The shop owner was extremely polite and knowledgeable for the few questions I had time to ask. If you have a few minutes and would like to jump off the main drive for a minute on your way home or wherever it is you may be traveling to or from, this little gem should not be missed! I plan on going back simply to have what looks like a fantastically prepared country style breakfast at the little restaurant next door and follow that up with a trip to the Cottage Drive-In. PS, I I must as well take a moment to mention as far as all the in between high to mid-level brand name liquors, definitely a good selection as well. So I guess you could say its something for everyone. Cottage is the most convenient with the best people

They have it all .

After calling at least 10 liquor stores from New York in an effort to buy a gift for a client in San Diego, I found Cottage Drive-In and FRED! Unlike all the bozos I had previously encountered, Fred was so friendly, so efficient and so helpful. This is the second year Ive dealt with Fred and I would highly recommend him and Cottage Drive-In to anyone.
