Andy is a great mechanic for minis and italian cars. Prices are reasonable (for auto repairs).

These guys worked magic on my 2011 Clubman S., after having toomany adventures with folks monkeying with my Mini. Conductedreal diagnostics to determine the real problems, installed an upgradeturbo which they installed. The car was now the magic vehicle Idbeen trying to build for several years. I cannot recommend Mini Workshighly enough. Honest, knowledgeable, and obviously very highlyskilled experts at transforming these specialty automobiles.

Great work on fixing my MINI which had check engine light on. After servicing, my car runs like new. I would recommend it to my friends.

Andy is a saint. I read all the 5 star reviews and had high expectations but he really overdelivered. Honesty is an understatement, where other shops would have taken me for a ride, Andy was 100% honest and fixed the issue promptly. I will ONLY bring my Mini here moving forward.

Brandon is awesome he helped me many times with multiple cars. He is extremely knowledgeable minis etc. And even knows about Fords. They have always been extremely friendly when I was there not pushy and never had any problem here.

I went to Andrew after being told my the dealer that my car needed a new clutch. When I called him was very knowledgeable about the Mini Cooper and gave me very good advice. He was able to set me up with an appointment and gave me a very responsible estimate for the work. He didnt try to up-sell me on unessential repairs and was very honest. He even gave me a ride back to the train station once I dropped my car off. Even though he is out of the way from San Francisco, he is definitely worth the trip. I will be using Italian Performance again.

Andy is as honest a businessman as I have met in the car service game. My daughters Mini needed a service while she was in LA. They came up with a laundry list of issues including a collapsed engine mount for $600. Mini Werks said unlikely in her car - its too new. But he took a look at it (for free) and confirmed there is no issue. 100% recommended.

This review is long overdue (sorry Andy). Have been taking my Cooper S here since 2012 even though I live more than 30 min. away and there are plenty of Mini/Bmw repair shops much closer to me. Andy is the most trustworthy, honest, skillful person you can entrust your car to. From minor stuff like oil change and more major repairs like torn control arm bushing, oil filter housing gaskets, vacuum pump, he has given me advise on what is or isnt necessary, prioritize more urgent repairs, and signs to look out for. Unlike the dealer and other repair shops (including another high Yelp rated repair shop in South Los Altos), he will not try to sell you any service not necessary. Realize that this is a small shop so dont expect anything fancy, but your car will be very happy after a visit here...and you will have a piece of mind taking your Mini on the road again :D. Andy may not be able to fit you in right away, but if an emergency, he will surely try to help. They also service Alfa Romeos; not many of those around anymore, but if you have one, you would definitely want to bring it here! THANK YOU ANDY, for taking care of my Mini like your own :))) !
