The staff are so nice and friendly, lot of really fresh fruits and vegetables, great affordable food and drinks and other things, this is my #1 favorite grocery store now, and their food and tamales are amazing best top tamales I ever tasted so far, the masa and meat are cooked really great and evenly.

It was very clean and this is definitely a Mexican merchandised store. Variety was good.

Unethical bakery staff. Will sale you rotten cakes. This is no isolated incident, managers overlook expiration dates. They simply want to sale, sale, sale. If the cakes are bad, other freshly made food may have the same practices, therefore, stay away from their in house baking and cooking. The store has a good variety of groceries that are good. I simply recommend to stay away from most of their in house cooking!

Almost always the best price for meat, they have a fantastic little eatery, good price for water as well

Forget getting someone on the phone. I called twice and as soon as they picked up the phone, they would hang up. I called a third time, and they picked up the phone, but set it on the side instead of answering. I could hear all of the cashierss conversations with the customer as well as the background music. Very frustrating. I typed this while listening the cashier tell the customer her total is $30 even.

Is a nice to shop the food is good but the men restroom are nasty. Theres only one Toilet available. Plus they dont keep it clean. Everything is broken.

The people that work in these kitchens will stare at you and act like you do not exist until you walk away dont bother looking for service.

The cashier was extremely rude, rushing me to bag my stuff and get out, when I handed her a bill to pay my groceries she replied oh, I thought it was going to be ebt.Way out of line what made her assume I was carrying an ebt card?.

I find pretty much I need from there but the employees could be nicer and greet customers faster. A few times Im there standing, they see me, and keep on their conversation among each other... Just a thought.

Worst place to shop at. Employees have NO people skills an are rude AF at the checkout they smash all your stuff together and ask you to hurry up but wont help bag it. I would give it negative stars if I could.

Perris ca amazing clean!This one here in San Bernardino however is filthy Produce looks like it’s rotting. Very friendly staff, I was impressed on the variety and stock on hand.

My boyfriend pointed out to me that their ready to eat food sits for a long time. In which I was planning on buying the roasted chicken but I declined upon his observation. The butcher was helpful and they carried a variety of different fruits and vegetables.

I go in all the time to this store 2045 n highland i been going there for 5 years know and i always have a problem with this one person her name is susan. She is always rude i went in today and my credit card was charged the amount Of all groceries i needed to get but she was trying to tell me it never went through so i had to show her my transactions for my credit card and she was still trying to say it didnt go through

The employees are great. Very customer service friendly. Only problem is veggies on the ground in the veggie section, but other than that great store to go to.

This place started off as a quick stop on the way home to grab something but has turned into our full fledged grocery store. Not a huge selection but the stuff they do stock spot on. The staff is great and ever since they upped their butcher game, I dont really need to shop anywhere else.

Probably one of the better Mexican markets right up alongside Northgate. Their pandolceria is epic and their hot foods ar great if you want to throw a small party in these tough times.

Just an amazing store, their kitchen is fantastic - super delicious food, fresh in such a clean kitchen. The workers at this store are friendly and inviting. The store manager watches this store like its his own, its wonderful to see. Store is extremely clean, top notch produce with great variety, great products, and the kitchen daily deals are worth coming alone and their fruit drinks are so incredible and healthy too. When I come to this store I feel I get a taste of Mexico in a very safe store that is super clean, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Cant get any better.

Went and picked their tacos platter for 15 bucks...It can feed four people easy if not more and it comes in a super nice container along with another cool container for your family to drink from and to keep....the carnitas are amazing for the tacos personally...or enjoy daily tacos for a dollar...

It was terrible. Cardenas was closed at 9:50pm when I arrived. The security guard pushed the doors open and rudely waved me in. I asked if they were closed and he told me just go I was like what do you mean just go are they still open?? As I was speaking there was a worker approaching the door and I kindly asked her excuse me maam are you still open? She proceeded to pass right by me and rolled her eyes. I was like seriously!! I plan to call the headquarters office in hopes something will be executed. I asked the security guards name before I left and he was said why do you want my name? I said what is your name sir? He told me you dont need to know my name... I said I am going to report your behavior and he proceeded to scoff and say just tell them its the security guard that works here with a smirk!!! Im going to see how I could report them.

Traveling miles to fine food, everyone is very helpful in the market with a smile from the cashiers.ñ

The worst customer service!!Ive been to this store twice and its a total disappointmentment!. The first time I came here I bought 40 packs of tortillas which were placed in a box. Im a pregnant woman with a high risk pregnancy which means I cant lift anything heavy. I asked the cashier to ask 1 of the employees to help me unload the box into my car. Well lets say I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come help me. Nobody showed up. I left and I had to ask a total stranger outside to help me. Second time was with the lady in the booth were you send money out of the country. She was very rude. If you dont like your job then that is not my fault. A customer doesnt need to be treated in a rude manner.

This particular visit I was there just for a money order ( which are only 50 cents). I did use the restroom- it stocked and clean. The cashier was very friendly. They do have a beautiful produce dept. with great prices.

Hot Mexican food deli is pretty good, prices on groceries is ok for the most part.Not impressed with the butcher shop though. Ive asked for meat cut a particular way twice now and they didnt. Easy fix though.going back to my old butcher shop for meat.

Rude cashier I gave her $100 bill and she gave me three cents back I told her and she said I would have to wait till she counted her cash drawer In order to know whether I gave her $100 bill or not she was too busy talking to another cashier and distracted which I told her it wasn’t my fault she wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing I did said why do I have to wait until you cash your drawer can’t you just check the cameras when she finally cashed her drawer she was very rude and almost threw the money at me and her and another cashier where laughing when I walked away because they saw that I was upset I was driving further to that store when I have other grocery stores near me won’t be going back!! That cashiers should’ve been better trained I could understand her mistake but not the fact that instead of showing humbleness because it was her error she was rude on top of that

Brand new store absolutely Immaculate the aisles have plenty of room to go down the only reason I did not give it a five-star was because I went in for Bakery and they actually didnt have that good of a selection but it was 11 a. M. When I came in. also the section where its pre-made food thats prepped and raring to go and hot food they actually did not have a huge selection Im just hoping it was because I came in at 11 next time I go in will be in two weeks and hopefully theyll have what Im looking for

Went in today with my husband and children to purchase dinner because it was conveniently on our way home. We get to the register to pay for our items they had zero bags to put our items in. The security guard was standing right next to the bagging area having a conversation with the cashier and one other coworker as we were being rang up for our items, (he clearly watched us pay) on our way out my younger daughter asked for a raspado so we stopped to purchase her one from the bakery near the exit, once it was paid for he comes running out behind us yelling (let me see your receipt!) Mind you we have nooooo bags so were holding everything in hands, after he just watched us pay for everything he demanded our receipt, so my husband and I had to put our groceries on the ground and search our pockets for this receipt he had just clearly seen us get! I am so frustrated with this place Ill never bring my business here again! Ill stick with clean and respectful starter brothers from now on... also the meat department smell disgusting, and theres nothing but a dirty drug infested parking lot full of panhandlers. Management needs to train their employees to respect paying customers.

Terrible customer service. Morinings and afternoons doesnt mater what time of day, all of their cashiers are terrible. They are always gossiping, they leave the register as soon as you walk up. If you ask a question no one knows anything. They never have any carts, and if you ask they just send you outside while they argue about who was sopose to get them. They have alot of panhandlers, and security doesnt do or say anything. Security is usually inside talking to cashiers . This place is convenient since its down the street, but i rather go to Food 4 less.

We were just there today. We were not very happy with the service in the bakery department. My granddaughter wanted a fruit cup. We were totally ignored. The lady that was working there should have at least acknowledged us. But far from it. My granddaughter was beside herself.😭.

The food they cook in there is awesome.I ordered a bit of everything and loved it all.The fruit tarts from the bakery can be freshly made on demand in only a few minutes and have a high quality taste.My gf hates milk chocolate but they used a dark chocolate paste that mixed perfectly with the sweet fruit and we both loved it.For a grocery store it has a very fun vibe to it.Only thing I disliked was the Cardenas bottled water. I am picky with my water but man it is even worse than the red arrow head water.

Horrible... dirty lot, bums all over, worse the security follows me you around ( the paying customer) even needs to verify my receipt everytime i shop yet completely disregards the riff raff stealing blatantly in his face. Happens every time i come here not to mention no customer engagement from cashiers whatsoever these people need major training overhaul.

There is a new Cardenas in Highland and Im thrilled and less than 5 minutes from my home. This store is the latin version of Ralphss and Vons. Great food and great service. Thanks to God

Bread isle is pretty limited and kinda hidden from the end of the aisle, but friendly cashiers and comfortable atmosphere make Cardenas a great place to shop. Pricing isnt too shabby either

The cashiers have got to be the rudest in town. The female cashiers act like they all have masters, and deserve to be treated like goddesses. When in fact, they could all use a class in customer service, and public etiquette. Oh! By the way...its the United States of America, speak English in the work setting in front of customers😠

I was happy when i saw they were barely opening one nearby en my house. The first few visits were good i would always buy groceries and bread. Today on 2/16/19 at 7:15 pm i came to buy groceries and my wofe said wed try the food apparently shes had it before and it was good. The girl who took our order had the worst attitude you can think of no friendlieness whatsoever and she seemed to be in a rush for us to order. I dont know their menu so i needed a couple of minutes to see it and she was rushing me. She seemed like she didnt want to be there. Very disappointed at the customer service.
