Did our shower a year ago. Rushed the install. We picked out a tile and told them the sizes. When we tried to back out they said they had already ordered the tile, we couldnt back out. They did the demo, and went to Homedepot to buy the hardware without asking if we wanted Brass, Brushed Nickle etc. When it was time to do the install they told my wife they didnt have the tile we picked out and showed her a tile they were gonna use. They didnt even do the 4x4 on the floor like I asked they just did what ever they wanted. Been a year and the grout is already coming out in sections. Would Not Recommend

We had an excellent experience with Texas Concepts. Roy took the time and explained all the options to use and was available and responsive if we had a question or needed something throughout the process. Phillip the contractor and his team did a top notch job. One thing we forgot was lights on the outside of the sun room. When we went and brought some Phillip replaced them with a much better set. It is acts like that which he didnt have to do which made the experience rewarding. The attention to detail shown by the electrician with placing the outlet as well as the air conditioning unit was just first class and very professional. Overall we are very pleased with the outcome of this endeavor and look forward to engaging Texas Concepts for other planned home improvement projects

My kitchen is beautiful!! Roy from Texas Concepts coordinated the painting of my kitchen cabinets and replacing of my countertops. The end result is amazing!I was very impressed with the painter Hector and his crew. Their attention to detail was impressive!Tom replaced my countertops. He let me pick out my granite slabs and they look great! There was one spot I feel was mis-measured and I wish one part of the counter would hang over the cabinet some. (It’s slightly short now.).We have had some issues with a leak under the sink, but Roy has sent a plumber out to get the problem fixed.The time the project took was much longer than first quoted, but I was able to work with that.I am very happy with the end result.

We had Texas Concept, replaced the carpet in the whole house, to include the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room and we are very pleased with the outcome of the project. It only took the crew of 3 (Antonio and crew) a total of 3 days to remove the old carpet and padding from the entire house and install the new floor to include moving some very big furnitures. I would recommend Texas Concept to to friends and family.

We had all rotten siding and boards on our two story home replaced, as well as rear windows and home painted. All crews were great and cleaned up and removed all debris They were very courteous and respectful.

We had our pool cabana finished in a week! We expected it to be longer. There were some minors issues that was heard and resolved. Different sub contractors came to do their part and overall did a good job. Its not perfect - there were some nails hanging out in between the wood panels and there are gaps on the beams that we wish would have been connected and finished. Nevertheless, its a sturdy built and it functions as how we want it. It helped that we can talk to Roy, and he finds a way to work to us.

I had the floors in the whole house replaced with luxury vinyl. The workmen did an excellent job. They had tear up the old tile flooring which was quite a job. They floated the low spots and ground down the high spots. My house has some funny angles but they cut everything to fit perfectly. And the replaced the baseboards. After it was was all done they cleaned up everything. Overall I was very pleased by their hard work and attention to detail. I would recommend Texas Concept for any job.

Updated 27 May 2019Worst experience I have had with a company in a long time. We asked them to extend our cement slab and add a small pergola. Everything seemed ok at first but after 3 weeks things started to fall apart. Cement started to flake off the side and the 2x2’s on the pergola split and came apart. It then took us another 2 weeks to get a call back from someone. We called, left a message everyday for a week, and then they just showed up. Luckily I just happened to be home and they made the repairs we requested.About a week later we got a call from one of their salesmen asking if we ever got the work done. We told him about our experience and that all we wanted was someone to come look at the work and his reply was “We will add you to the do not call list”.We were really hoping for a good experience because we wanted a reliable company to help us with our future bathroom and kitchen remodel but this is not the one.Update:We have now developed a crack down the middle of our patio. First since they never answer the phone, their voicemail was full and it took a Better Business Bureau complaint for them to actually contact us. A contractor was assigned and they randomly showed up one afternoon. They believe the crack occurred because the original contractor didn’t leave a space between the new pad and house foundation to allow for expansion. We scheduled a repair date for a couple weeks later and we are now on no show number 3.

UPDATE: The businesss response was completely and utterly false. Its so false, its comical. Never missed any calls-not one voicemail, the job wasnt small- literally my driveway, deck and fence, I addressed why I became upset- which was never acknowledged, Tony wasnt trying to explain anything because I asked questions and was met with attitude not knowledge, and I did not hand up on him. I closed the call-theres a difference. Let this be an example to the reader how terrible their customer service is. ZERO accountability, and to straight up LIE...thats mind blowing. SO glad I didnt do business with you.____________I’m VERY big on professionalism, and accountability especially when I’m paying for a service. Unfortunately “Tony” had neither. Scheduled an appointment last week for some to come today at 5 PM. It is 5:55 and I just got off the phone with “Tony” who 1. didn’t acknowledge his tardiness, 2. wasn’t even sure if he could do the job, and 3. required and explanation of all sorts before coming out to look at the drive way. I asked him “isn’t that the point of you coming to look at it- to have this conversation?” He replied “Well I’m trying to see if its something we even do”. The conversation was so less than, you could hear the “put your husband on the phone” in his tone. Disgusting. No, no to the entire service request. We’ll find someone better.

I had my master bathroom shower, sink and vanity and floor replaced. All work looks very professional and anything I mentioned was promptly taken care of. I am very happy with the results.

Had tub conversion to walk in shower. They did a wonderful job. Also changed out the vanity and added extra tower for more storage. Had a floating shelf mounted too. This is for my mother who will be coming to live with us. I know she is absolutely going to love it! Very professional and efficient. Will use Roy again if I have the need.

We had our kids tub/shower redone and tiled. They did such a good job that we also had our master bath walk-in plus garden tub converted to a his and hers walk-in shower. We were lucky to have the same crew do both bathrooms. They always started early and took 3 days to do the tub/tile and 5 to do the conversion. I would definitely recommend them for tile/shower work. One pointer, you need to know what you want with regard to design and they will deliver. Good price, good tile work, and efficient.

I had this company come out to do a master bathroom suite remodel and flooring for the entire downstairs. They were slow, slow, slow...took 6 months just the do the bathroom. The flooring guys were sub-subcontracted and did the flooring in 4 days. The shower looked nice alright until 2 months after finally being able to use it, I started noticing water squirting up from under the laminate flooring near the front of the shower. The shower pan was leaking. They sent someone out to fix it and after 1 attempt and multiple calls and texts to fix the issue that was still occurring and waiting over 3 months, they never completed the warranty work and I had to hire someone else. Will never use them again and hope they go out of business. They also use our shower pictured on their website but this is actually how they left it!! Id say false advertising!

My experience was nothing but wonderful. I had them expand my patio and cover it. I met with the owner and discussed my expectations and he promised me nothing less than quality. He delivered in spades. The crews were polite and courteous. Both were aware that I had several dogs that needed to use the yard and worked their schedule to accommodate me. Work was completed as promised and on time. When finished all excess material was removed and everything returned to normal places. They WILL be my first call for any future needs.

Roy with the company is really good about keeping in contact with you. The contractors that they used are really good and professional. They used quality products too, they take a lilwhile to get shipped but its worth the wait.

Meeting with Roy, the owner was the clincher. Good guy, understood what I wanted.The crew of two arrived right on time, 9:00am and were gone by 4:30. They left the place clean with little damage even where expected. They did good work with the concrete, tied it in properly to the house and fixed some other concrete issues.If I need any work done, I will contact Roy first.

The wife and I are very pleased with the outcome of the patio. They completed the patio in 1 day and made arrangements for the ceiling fan to get installed a few days later. It was a little pricey but well worth it. Will definitely do business with the Company again. Thank you Roy 👍🏼

Project Master bathroom remodelStart date April 28th Finish date June 15th.The workers were wonderful throughout the process. Initially there was some confusion between the owner and the workers as to what the end design would be. Thankfully both my wife and I were around to shape the project as we moved forward thereby ensuring we got exactly what we wanted. Two hiccups the samples in store we picked out for backsplashes was no longer available, also the deep soaker tub we picked out was also out of stock.(I blame Lowes on this one) We stayed on budget and the timeline got extended due to the custom glass order. We originally thought we would have an open roman shower but the water went everywhere so we needed a second order of glass to finish off and enclose the shower. Now its a steam shower and I could not be happier.All in all the attention to detail was maintained throughout the process through the different contractors, the price was better than the competitors as we had 2 other bids, also this was all done during quarantine and everyone did their jobs with professionalism while adhering to health protocols.I recommend this company and have already giving their information to several friends looking to do the same.

So these scam artists came to my mothers house and told me and her they would replace her roof for $6000. Thats a deal and I told my mother she wound get it done with these people. Well, what the salesman meant to say was they would replace the shingles on the roof and only the shingles for $6000. We have to pay extra to get the actual roof repaired. I read the bad reviews on Google and took a chance and we got scammed. BBB here we go!!!

It took over 6 months to finish my project . If I could do -5 stars I would. Did I say It took them over six mouths after paid in full to finish project,. I called and called and called the owner of Texas Concept and he would not pick up my calls, so I text and text the owner and still nothing, so I called the sales person and he acted like I made the sale so it’s out of his hands and to call the owner, the sales person wanted nothing to do with me. Luckily I still had the guys that installed number in my phone when the were letting me know they were on the way the very first time. Great guy picked up the phone and been working with him to get the project done. Look for some else if you are thinking of doing business with Texas Concepts not worth the headache.

I would like to express my feelings about this company, listen up, especially if you’re a senior citizen; things aren’t always what they seem when in the market for a good contractor. I would always look for a second opinion unlike this instance with this company. The contract said aluminum cover not wood, they agreed with an 80 year old man to change porch to wood, with no contract to verify these changes. I will show you pictures of a $3995 add on porch cover and you decide for yourself if this company is doing good business. The home depot had all these materials for approx. 600 dollars, I guess that’s 3300 dollars for 12 hours of labor, you all decide if you have a future project needing built. Once again choose a good contracting company that will give, especially senior citizens a fair price.The porch is falling apart now, this is June called them and they said warranty already expired after 6 months, very convenient.stay away

Texas Concept built a backyard deck for me and it is everything I wanted. The workers were great and the job was finished quickly.

Lousy lousy work. They were slow and messy. Took a long time to finish and they messed up the chimney on my roof. It was leaking a lot in my house and outside. The ceiling in my living room caved in and they had to put in a new ceiling. They came out numerous times to fix the leak on the chimney but it still was leaking. Then they stopped taking my calls and never returned any messages. I hope they go out of business soon if they havent already. Have to call in another roofer to get it fixed. I still have damage to my bathroom and living room ceilings. Funny thing is before they did my roof the chimney never leaked.

If I could, I would give this business zero stars. They have been the absolute WORST to work with. They set up appointments to arrive to the house only to finally arrive several hours after the set time with not even a call for notice. They have a blatant disregard for the customers time. Showing up hours late has happened SEVERAL TIMES. Once, a contractor who showed up late arrived with the worst attitude and was so unbelievably rude he walked out after only being there for a few minutes claiming he didnt like how he was being spoken to. They also worked on putting granite on an island counter and didnt put any support on the ends even though this was agreed upon and required. They then lied and claimed that was what the customer wanted when they were called out on the poor job by another contractor at their own company! DO NOT get any work done by this poor excuse of a company. They are rude, have no respect for their customers, and the quality of work is terrible.

Im not usually one to post a review- good or bad - however, I feel I must share my ridiculous experience with this company.I originally got a quote from a really nice salesman in April 2018, he was professional and knew what products he sold. My husband and I werent ready to invest yet and decided to hold off. Fast forward a couple months, we got a call from the office offering a special. This was perfect because we were regretting not getting the floors done a couple months prior. They needed to send out another salesman to remeasure and make sure everything was good, plus the carpet we had chosen was no longer available. I was told the manager was going to come out and after 2 missed appointments someone actually made it to our home. Instead of a manager or salesman in general, we get someone with a dirty tshirt on who knows nothing about the products. He didnt have carpet samples to show us or know pricing on anything. Even with this, after talking to the owner, Roy, we continue to go with the previous estimate given on new hardwood floors, carpet in the bedrooms and a new french door in the kitchen. After putting half down and financing the rest, the work was completed in about a week. However, upon completion, the floor isnt level in some spots and when I mentioned this to the men installing it, they stated, we used 16 bags of leveling cement, where as we usually only use 4 to 6. He also blamed it on the age of the house and the foundation. In addition to the floor dipping in certain spots, the french door was also not installed properly. The door, which we had to purchase and have delivered ourselves, before they could install, even with their measurements was a bit small. They did get it to work and not have gaps... on the inside of the home. They left the outside view with gaps and not looking appealing. (I had to have someone else come out and fix that for us). In addition to the appearance, the french door doesnt always stay in place as it should. The right side should be able to stay locked in place or allowed to open by two prongs, one on the top and one on the bottom. They drilled a hole in the top of the door frame for the top locking prong, however, they didnt do so on the bottom, therefore, the door doesnt always stay in place, and even with the left side closed and locked, the door has opened on multiple occasions.. luckily I was home and able to close it before the animals got out.We have called and texted Roy multiple times to try and talk, let alone, get the door hauled away as promised. He wont answer or return calls or texts, even though we can see he has gotten them.. as marked by the read notification on the iphone setting.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Previous reviews stating it it NOT worth the hassle are spot on.

They said they would have my driveway done in 4 days, that was a lie cuz its day 5 and they are not finished. On day 3 nothing was done so I cancled the check and they should to pay for the water bill cuz they left the water running after they left, they dumped concrete in the street, they smashed up 4 of my lights alongside of the driveway, messed up the yard and stole 2 barrel cacti from the neighbors front yard. They messed up the grass along side of the driveway. They would take an hour and a half for lunch. The owner never answers his phone. They never blocked off the sidewalk. The other company I hired did more work in 2 days than these guys did in 5.

Had to make them come back 3 times to fix sagging roof of patio extension. Now that they are paid they do not respond to these issues:1. Water pools on the roof 2. Water leaks between the roof and gutter 3. Water does not drain from the gutter when it does make it into it.STAY AWAY!!!!

Its a conundrum, really, because in some areas they deserve a -10 and in other areas, 5.The telemarketer/appointment setter: amicable and obviously can talk you in to anything.Very friendly. 5 starsThe Salesman: We almost didnt buy this service but the owner talked me in to it. He was arrogant and rude from the moment he walked in the door. He seemed offended to have to be in the presence of our dogs, refused to sit down on our sofa and discuss anything (no, the dogs dont get on the sofa and there was no dog hair on it), was disgusted with us that we wouldnt accept his quote to not only replace floors but also paint the entire interior of our home, threw some numbers our way and walked out as if we were a waste of his time. Apparently nearly 10 grand of my money isnt enough to warrant courtesy. -10 starsAndre, the installation supervisor: Only saving grace of the entire process. He was considerate, answered all the questions the salesman refused to answer, and made us feel comfortable again about having hired this company. 5+++++starsThe Installation team: Great job installing the floors. But...they unplugged a fridge in the media room and forgot to plug it back in, so the next day we had standing water and they had to come out, rip up part of that room and re-install it. Work: 5 Everything Else: 0They removed everything from the closets and put it on the beds (that in itself was fine)....but they dumped shoes on top of ironed, clean clothing, boots on a hat with a feather plume which of course broke, stilletto heels on lace and silk dresses so they tore...we are at 14 items needing to be repaired and 11 things needing replacement at this point, its just heartbreaking. So they may be pissed that they didnt get tipped but they didnt deserve it.Add to this the promise that I was going to get exceptional pricing if they put a sign out front while working and I promised to use the company when we ARE ready to paint the indoors, which never happened, well...lets just say lessons learned are like bridges burned, you only need to cross them but once.

About a month ago we had them replace the siding on our home with HardiPlank, that looked great. Then it came time to paint it, I am so disappointed it has been almost a month now, it seems the only way I can light a fire under them to get it done correctly is to text the owner Roy. This last visit, while at work I got a text saying everything was fixed, imagine my shock when I got home to find it was NOT ! Everyone has their $$$ now last call with Oscar .. they will call us on Monday. Kind of just Done, you might want to shop around .. ttl this was 21,945.00 dont know about you but I work hard for that !

Harassing phone calls daily, I ask these people to stop calling my home and they wont. Why do you find the need to harass me? I asked politely, if someone is not Interested then why do you keep calling? That is very rude and I would never do business with a company who doesnt respect peoples privacy. I would watch out with such a rude, harassing, desperate company. I am fed up, its been 1 year of this.

They did my windows for a great price last year for a great price.....then a year later they put in the bamboo floors i wanted. The process was easy. The representative was casual and friendly. Installation was fairly quick...and they were able to work with mybless than great credit. I refer them to my neighbors and for the most part they were pleased as well. Great company. Next year im looking for a deck and im sure ill use them again

Im registered with national DO NOT CALL list, they call me at 1230pm on my 30 min lunch trying to sell me flooring.

I received a sales telephone call on Sunday @12:50 P.M. from this company. I told the gentleman that I am on the Do Not Call list and his reply was, That must be nice. Very unprofessional.

Professional and reliable company!

I had a patio enclosure installed last year and I am still not able to use it due to roof leaks. Also the floor foundation they installed has multiple cracks and needs repaired.
