Love this place its a hidden gem on the southside. Meat market in back still got them garlic, polish sausage rings.Oh and they sell hot food, but closes at 3 or 4 pm.And I know they use to sell reg. Sandwiches..NOT TOO MANY KNOW ABOUT THAT..YEAH,! GREAT PLACE..

I love their Barbacoa.. They sell by a taco or by the pound!Their tortillas are soo good.Their meat market is usually fully stock with great selection.

The service is excellent especially and elderly man with white hair he is so kind and generous I recommend everybody this meat market its in a plus to me

Never been here before and Ive been here all my life but just not this side of town, I purchase some meat from the Butcher and I must say their meat looks very fresh and they do have this homemade sauces that we got on a ring and put on the grill and it was excellent including they have Fresh Tortillas and hot ones in corn and everything was great and prices were right well a little below pricing LOL so that work for me

Thrif-T-Mart meat market has the freshest meats, of whatever kind you are looking for. I found the fresh rope Garlic Sausage, ordered two ropes, and was satisfied.You never know when they may be out.

Manager is Friendly, employees are efficient, no long lines...

The carne guisada taco I was served was poor. Not enough meat. Gordita fell apart. Made a taco salad. Temperatures need to be checked.

They USED to sell the best uncooked menudo. We have been buying it there for over 30 years.We bought some about 2 weeks ago and it was not fresh at all. This is the reason we dont buy it at our only large grocery stores.And it was ridiculously expensive,!I understand everything has gotten more expensive, but come on ....I think these owners forgot where they came from and who has made them successful.Southside San Antonio TX

This is a great place to get your tacos. Um, service is fast and professional. Workers are super nice and very respectful. Everything about this place is just simply great. I highly recommend this place.

We stood at the counter for about 3 minutes, with no one else in line, about 7 butchers walking around and yet we were ignored. Also when my wife goes alone, the pigs are jumping to cater because of her physique.

Awesome place to shop and get some great tacos the carne guisada and sausage with gravy are my favorites. Everyone was very nice. Good job.

Flour tortillas are great! They sell them in 12 or 25 per package. You will never buy another brand again. Butcher meats are the best prices in town and the quality and freshness of their meats are awesome.I live 20 miles away, but its always worth the trip.

This place serves really well prepared food along with their groceries, check cashing, meat market and cleaned menudo tripe. They have those addicting quarters machines you can play too. I favorite the costillas and fried chicken with papa.

Good Tortillas

This place has good sausage. Polish garlic and jalapeño cheese. The sausage is raw you have to cook it on the grill. But to me it’s the best really good. You can’t go wrong.
