Cute little shop with a unique drink selection and wines. They also make fresh charcuterie boards with ingredients sold in the shop. We just stopped for a quick refreshment and caramels during our trip to the Pearl area but will be back.

Service was great! Food was not. Grabbed a sandwich to go. My order was completely wrong and had several hairs in it; I wasted $12 on a thin sandwich with no chips?? Thats way expensive for so little food.. The turkey tasted bad, it tasted like leftover thanksgiving turkey. The lemonade had lavender in it which Im not usually a fan of but it was actually pretty good, I wish they just had plain lemonade but they insist its already made with the syrup in it. The chocolate chip cookie was soft but it was strangely salty, I didnt take more than a few bites. Disappointing expensive lunch.

Well decorated grocery store. Good quality product, I took a scone and a salad for roughly 15$. Given the food quality, the price is fair. However the sald was quite plain, only corn comes with it but the sauce was on point.

Within the Hotel Emma (can access directly on the south side (back of the hotel), or from an internal hallway next to the bar. Premium bakery items, coffee/tea, some sandwiches, budget about $15 per person for a meal with beverage. Counter-service. Decor inside is excellent, well-planned out and worth the pictures. It actually reminded me a little bit of EPCOT mixed in the the Biltmore Mansion in Ashville, but obviously a little more functional. Good casual-date location, especially if youre looking to dodge the higher prices at the more expensive eateries. You can access the complex from the Riverwalk.

From other two more places that offer coffee at the Pearl, I recommend this one much better than the other two. Coffee here has a really unique and special taste. I usually dont like cappuccino and heres where I have to have one. Its really good. Thats for coffee, regarding pastries they have limited options, with good taste though. And finally you can find a lot of gourmet products and ingredients, candy, wine, spices, pasta, sauces.

My wife and I ordered the brioche cinnamon roll. So delicious! 🤤 Loved the ambience. We came here because Lorraine line was too long. Larder also offers other pastries (HUGE) & Merrit coffee just like Local around the corner. Maybe next time well try their scrumptious looking rice crispy treat. Wish we could have viewed more of the hotel building but COVID.

This place is great. We live right next door so we’re always here. They do have essentials and odd ball stuff you wouldn’t find in HEB. Even if they don’t have something on the shelf they are always willing to go get it ‘from the back’ or ‘downstairs’ since it’s connected to a few restaurants and the hotel.I came in for 3 odd things none of which they had and all of which they found for me. Very friendly people!

Came here for the famous rice krispies treats and was not disappointed. Toasted marshmallows and melted toffee make for a mouth watering combination yet it retains the texture and shape of a much beloved childhood treat giving it a unique revamping. It works wonderfully.

A very historical place and a fun way to cool off. You may order food and drinks here. This place was originally Pearl Brewing Company. If you visit here, be sure to wander around, its a very interesting place to see and the rest of the building is the Emma Hotel. We LOVED it❣️👍👍👍😄😄

You may not associate Texas with being a mecca of olive oil, but the fine folks at Larder can show you that this state has a lot to offer. Texas Hill Country Olive Oil Company was on hand today letting you savor a sampling of their signature award-winning olive oils and balsamic vinegars dipped in the Larder’s tasty freshly baked bread.

Larder is Emmas coffee/snack shop. Its so much more tho!!Its small and hidden but once you find it, you will be glad. There are aprons, shelves with exotic of oils, imported spices, tins, bins, bottles, and items you didnt know you needed. They sell sandwiches, salads, bakery items and amazing coffee and teas. You can eat/drink there or outside on the green. The rice crispy treats are beyond amazing. Brown butter toffee!

Enjoyable restaurant with interesting location and atmosphere in the Pearl district. The food was good but not stellar and the service a little lacking as we didnt see our waiter except to order and pay. Someone else served our meal without interacting with us. Additionally the prices seemed a little high for what we got but overall a good lunch.

Good coffee, friendly and smiling customer service, refreshing and ‘at home feeling,’ to have a store that feels like Austin’s stores, and strong wifi. Our lunchtime vegetarian sandwich was incorrect but we didn’t complain and just ate it. It would have been nice if they offered to melt the cheese. We would have gotten the pesto pasta but it had chicken in it 🙁 The wifi is pretty strong, but it’s difficult to get any work done there on the laptop without being distracted. I would just come for the coffee and the store!

I ordered 4 Everything Bagels with cream cheese and salmon lox to-go. I asked to have the capers put on the side. Total came out to over $50. When I asked why the cost was so high, the girl looked at me as if I was a fool for asking and told me that all the sides were extra. Ya think?! Since my wife was really craving salmon lox, I relented. Upon getting home, we found that they had forgotten the capers. Thanks a lot.

I want to love this place, I truly do. Im a local to the city, and I understand this stores target audience is guests of the hotel, which more often than not are tourists, and that is what worries me. Ive been here about four times now, and each time, my customer service has not been up to par with the rest of the hotel. Ive eaten at Supper and had a drink at Sternewirth, but Larder is lacking. I was not greeted upon entering and looking at the menu when I was the only one there, and when I did go up to order, the girl simply said, Hi, and waited for me to say what I want, I wouldve liked to hear, what can I get for you today? or something along those lines. Perhaps Im being nit-picky, but as a great number of people who come here are new to San Antonio, Id like to see more of an effort from the staff to make this an enjoyable experience not only through sandwiches and coffee, but customer service as well.

Food poisoning post—-Please read: Cute place, but me and my husband got the Turkey croissant on Christmas Day, and we ate the same thing as everyone else that day and the night before... but in the morning everyone else got different type of sandwiches but us. Well fast forward, food poisoning struck Christmas night, up all night puking plus more. It was unfortunate since it’s a cute place, but I would steer away from their foods.
