Pretty cool place. A lot of toys and nick nacks that make it a great place for gift ideas and gifts for the little ones or even some adults. There was very nice staff there today that helped me and other customers with any questions we might have

Family owned toy store and has toys that any geek would love from the 80 and 90s.

I took my daughter toy shopping at Toy Werks today. She was able to find a Barbie chemistry experiment set that she liked and the customer service person checked us out quickly. We wished that they had some test samples to play with, but perhaps theyve been removed during the lockdown times.

Terrible location in a bit of battered mall and the selection of toys and games wasnt as good as the now closed location off 1604 in the stone oak area. They do have a pretty great collection for all ages and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, a very positive experience.

This store is a kids dream. You can actually play with the toys you want to buy. The staff here are very friendly. The only drawback is it is kinda pricey but it is worth not having to order and return if you dont like the item!

Website and sign on entrance said they were open. They were closed. Past experience has been excellent so I will try again...

The place was trashed. No organization on the toys and your greeted by a huge stain in the carpet when you walk in.

I was looking for the Jesus block puzzle. I got one last year. Maybe I need to wait for Easter?

It’s hard to find a toy store these days! Toy Werks fills a niche. I miss their Loop 1604 location. Most recently visited them at Rolling Oaks Mall. Purchased a Rubik’s Cube in a package that had obviously been opened. Didn’t bother me, but the cashier spontaneously offered me 15% off. Lots of unique items on hand. Not sure if they still offer free wrapping, but that was a plus for last minute birthday gifts. Worth a visit!

Had a good time here. This seems to be the last Toy Werks in town. Like most toy stores, I cannot say that it was clean and easy to navigate; toys were all over the place, floor with scattered boxes. But thats how you know they are being played with- I say thats a good sign!Friendly associates, no problems with getting my questions answered for the most part!

Didnt have anything on their website that I wanted,showed they had it,went there after calling and the items werent there.Extremely disappointing!!!

One of the best toy stores in San Antonio by far. Its on par with lakeshore. They have more than adequate variety to select from. Youll have to walk through the place a few times to really see everything they have. Also there are neat areas for kids to try the toys throughout the store.

My fault for not looking up the address online and just going by the name on the outside of the building. They moved and left the name on the old building off 1604 and 281. They moved to the Rolling Oaks Mall.

Has some toys I hadnt seen in a long time. Reminded me of toy stores from the past. The gentleman that helped us yesterday was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

It was an awesome place jam packed with lots of REALLY nice toys that you cant find anywhere else at reasonable prices. The only reason why I gave it four stars was because it was disorganized and their were empty shipping boxes all over the place in aisles that made it a little hard to walk through. Im hoping that day they got a shipment in or something and they were just trying to stock.

Such fun for kids...a HUGE selection. .. This place is so much bigger than it looks and they have just about every brand of toy that isnt Fisher price or Playskool. Several train tables and other toys scattered about for the kids to play with. We spent almost 2 hours in there and I still had to coax my toddler out. Staff was very helpful too!

Fun store. Cool owner and staff. Lots to choose from for the kiddies and adults even.

This is an outstanding family owned toy store. They have a great selection of toys. The owners, whom work in the store, are very friendly.

Update 11/17Since the store opened another location at Rolling oaks mall, unfortunately this store has gone downhill. Its messy, unclean and disorganized. Toys are discolored after sitting on display in the window for too long.Too bad, I really loved this place. Now I go to Learning Express instead....Absolutely the best toy store ever. So refreshing to not see princesses and licensed characters everywhere, but rather toys that inspire imagination and creativity. We love it here. The staff is fantastic, and the service excellent.

Great store! I walked in just to look around and came out with a few treasures.

This store is full of great toys for kids of all ages, and better yet, they have some of the stuff you cant find at Walmart and Target anymore. We found some of the Lego sets we had been unable to get the kiddo for Christmas.

This place is awful! Their merchandise is thrown around and in piles and heaps. It looks like they are a re-sale shop trying to sell things off as new. The staff was so rude and incompetent. I seriously believe the people who commented on here previously were talking about a different toy store!!

I always appreciate the quick and free gift wrapping. And, the prices at Toy Werks often compete with Amazon.
