This is something you don’t want to miss out on. The entire place is well kept and maintained. It has a little bit of everything from flowers to an area for the kiddos (or adults) to play in the water. The Texas Native Trail was my favorite spot.

I found the Saint lil picture Ive been looking so long for, Im so glad I stopped by this cute quaint lil place. Parking only has a few spaces in the front, and it has narrow spaces in the shop for a caution to anyone but its a must visit lil gem. The staff are friendly, there is a nice variety of things they sell, and have good prices. Thank you.

When Im unable to get taper candles at Papa Jims, I usually go here, I find that the staff is friendly but a little reserved about customers. When I go there it seems that Im being watched more than other customers, but usually if they have the candles that Im looking for Im usually in and out within 5 minutes. This botanica is only about 6 miles from my house, so for me its convenient. This is my observation and is not intended to bring any harm to the botanica.

Wow this place has ever possible spiritual item you could ask for. Don’t know what you need? No worries, the kind and knowledgeable staff will advise you😃. We went in at 2:30pm, it was busy and they were booked for readings. So I guess I’m not the only one impressed🥰

The staff is very informative. The place has a very good vibe. Its a bit small but it gets the job done. I understand that theres a man there that does readings and hes gotten a lot of great reviews. Unfortunately hes booked until next year in January 2021. That pretty much speaks volumes for itself. Prices are little bit pricer compared to other herbal stores. But at least we didnt have to drive far from our neighborhood. I definitely recommend the store and will definitely be back.

I went to David H last week after hearing about him word of mouth from various people and of course seeing the online reviews. I was going through a bit of a bad struggle with myself and some other issues. David knew my situation without me mentioning a thing. I did a cleansing with him and walked in very skeptical and lacking faith. When the cleansing was done I can only describe that something negative left me. It literally went from my chest out words and I nearly collapsed to the floor. I had issues breathing for a bit it was so intense. Since doing this my energy levels have been better, Im more motivated, my anxiety has disappeared and I have found my faith in everything again. I honestly believe David has a gift from a higher power which he uses to help people and he shows that in his attitude and his overall energy towards people. Thank you David. I owe you and Monica for helping me out and showing your willingness to be there for me when not even my family was. Thank you again. I will be a regular by the way lol.

Worst place you can go to. Don’t waste your money. They’re rude, it smells, and very dusty. They let dogs in there and let them run around. I was afraid my daughter was going to get bitten by the loud dog they have.

This place is not recommended and a complete ripoff. David lies in his readings and doesnt give his full attention. Hes done trabajos that dont work. Monicas candle fixing are not done correctly and dont burn right. This place tells you what you want to hear. They sacrifice animals and expect you to pay high amounts of money. I was only there a short time and witnessed many things. The staff is rude ti their customers and talk about them. Customers dont realize nothing is kepy confidential since they gossip about their customers.

Huuuuuuuge variety of candles and various incense. If you ever need anything for cleansing, this is definitely the place to go and stock up on supplies. They have a great variety of sages and palo santo and at much more reasonable prices than anywhere else I have seen in town.I only popped by for a short time while my friend was getting candles but I would definitely make a trip back to explore more when I have time.The vibe in this store is much more calm and serene and genuine than other places I have been too. It felt very sincere, unlike some places I have been that feel like some gentrified spiritual goods market out to get money.

Ive been coming to Botanica Caridad over 3 years now. I strongly recommend for anyone seeking spiritual guidance to come and visit. As soon as you walk in you feel the peaceful vibes and energy. The staff and owner are very knowledgeable and honest. David is not only the owner but a very gifted Santero with such great knowledge of the spiritual side of santeria. Monica is the one to see if you want fixed candles with her magical touch and you have to see for yourself what else she can do for you. Vanessa is a tarot reader who Ive been seeing and I must say she is very accurate with readings. One word of advice is to never get upset with reading results given since they speak the truth. If you seek and ask you will get what the cards speak to the reader.The only place in San Antonio Ill visit for spiritual guidance and cleansings is Botanica Caridad.

I saw many things going on in this botanica. Dont get reading from David. He was on his phone through the entire time and kept getting interrupted by staff. Im not against anyones preference of who they want to be with but I felt uncomfortable of him showing me pictures of men he messages with on his phone. My reading was not accurate and didnt make sense.He was also irritated by me asking questions.I also saw cashier I think Joice was her name putting money from registar into her pocket. She was very rude and snotty.I also found out from one of the customers I spoke to that animals are used for sacrificial trabajos that dont work because as she said David doesnt have it in him anymore. To not bother wasting my money.I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The staff also gives different prices and the lady at registrar doesnt know much either. I bought several bracelets from case that tarnished and she lied to me saying it was real silver.Dont waste your time here. Its not worth what you pay for.They are also overpriced on most of their items that I can find cheaper elsewhere with higher and better quality. Make sure you get a receipt for your purchase since I saw lady at registrar pocket money multiple times when I was there.

The real deal! Friendly and helpful staff with tranquil energy, situated right next to a coffee shop. I didnt feel nervous or not welcomed here not once, thanks to Monica. David is no joke with consultations and doesnt hit your wallet for more money like other readers/workers do. They have a humble but useful selections of herbs, oils, candles, water, and other tools you need for your practice. See these guys and not the other botanica up Blanco. These guys are here to help, not make money off you.

4 years ago I was introduced to David Herrera at la Botanica De La Caridad. Around that time I had lost close family memebers that I truly cared about for with I my self was lost. Since then David has shown me a path full of hope and kindness with I had once lost and gave up on. Just recently I experienced my loved one fall into the hands of the justice system . My oldest son and I experienced a strong 6 months battle that I would never wish upon any one for he is my oldest son. Thanks to David and all his mericales Im happy to say my son is now free.
