Went in to get some help on a wetsuit and how to stay warm in the cold water. Tom was the associate on duty and had no interest in wanting to help me whatsoever. They specialize in this and had no wetsuits for sale and didnt even seem like he even wanted my business. Definitely do not recommend going here.. The store was not very clean and even their saltwater tanks were covered in algae and you couldnt even see the type of fish or species they were supposedly caring for.. Definitely do not go here.!

We did the first day of diving in our open water certification with Travis on Saturday this weekend at the spring in San Marcos. The water was gorgeous and clear, though cold, and it was a great day for diving. My husband and I are a bit tough for scheduling and Tom was really helpful and flexible in getting us out to the water. Travis was a great instructor--super friendly, knowledgeable, and he really ensured that we had our skills. I am so glad we found Tom and his crew, and we cant wait to dive again with them!!!

Another reviewer reported they went out of business? Not sure where they got that from. Dive Masters has been my favorite local shop for over 5 years and I talk to one of the excellent dive masters there on a fairly regular basis. Their open water training is absolutely excellent. They are knowledgeable, patient, and excited to teach SCUBA to folks who want to give it a go! Ive fostered life-long friendships because of this shop and find it something special.

I walked in today (4/23/15 approximately 4pm.) to ask about renting equipment. the man at the counter was on the phone to someone so i waited for 5 minutes while he finished his phone conversation. When he finally wrapped up his personal call he asked if he could help me. He gave me the prices for the equipment i wanted to rent. I thanked him and looked at the spear-guns. The man never said a word other than to ask if he could help me and give me the prices, he just stared at me as if he was expecting me to try to steal something. It was super weird. After a few minutes of him eyeballing me while i looked at the spear-guns I said an awkward thanks and left. If anyone can explain what that was all about please let me know. Is there a rating that is less than one star?

Great group of people to be around. Anyone looking to get certified this is the best place to go. Tom has so much knowledge. Travis is our instructor and Greg helped out giving Carrie a little one on one help to ease the learning processes. There very patient and go above and beond to take great care of there students. We still have a dive to go before completimg the corse but so far this has been way better then we could have ever imagined and cant thank the guys at dive masters enough. Special thanks to Travis his personality and sense of humor made the whole learning proces a blast.
