We used Smith-Thompson at another home and were pleased they could also serve our new home. We like them because the price is very cost effective and that they use cellular monitoring means you arent dependent on wireline services that can be easily disabled. They added a second keypad for us and the price was very good for the install and a full ear (plus one month free) of service. Highly recommend.

Great experience. Had a late afternoon appointment and my installer called to ask if it was convenient for me to have him come early. Worked for me! On time, very efficient, very courteous. Went out of his way to try and make me happy. I’ve had two alarm occurrences, both when I forgot to disarm, instant phone calls from Smith Thompson within 30 SECONDS!! I never had that happen with my old company, begins with an ADwhatever! Love Smith Thompson!

Technician changed my security system from another well-known security company that had become very costly. He was very knowledgeable and courteous and change over was painless. This will be a substantial decrease in my costs for security with same benefits.

I used to use Smith Thompson when I lived in Dallas, and now using them here in San Antonio. Always a low price with fantastic service. Fortunately, in over 3 years of service, Ive never had situation where alarm went off so no real life experience with their monitoring speed. However, setting up was easy. Their installation fees were reasonable (forgot that had a new door with no sensors). I highly recommend them.

I recently changed from ADT to Smith Thompson. I had been an ADT customer for many years. ADT price kept going up, with 2 and 3 year contracts. Say an ad for Smith Thompson. Called and was quoted exactly the ad price - no contract. Less than half of ADT. Did all the arrangements by email and text. Tech came on time, changed one piece of equipment and we are good to go. Very positive experience and highly recommended.

I switched from a major security system monitoring company to Smith Thompson. Setting up the service was quick and easy, and I had a tech service advisor (Kevin S.) out to my residence there the next day for set-up. He was there on time, friendly and curteous, and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend the switch based on their customer service and excellent price - which was half of the cost of major competitors.

I had ADT for more than 10 years, and the almost never contacted me when the alarm triggered, unless I left it on for more than 5 minutes. I switched to Smith-Thompson at first due to price (a third of what ADT was charging me to use my OWN equipment), but have found that they are the most responsive security service I have ever used. Always fast, friendly and courteous! I would give them ten stars. I feel a lot safer knowing they are watching our for me.

Smith Thompson has been a great company to work with! Their prices are SO much more reasonable than any competitor you will find, especially ADT. I used to be an ADT customer but their customer service and rates were terrible! We made the switch and have loved the customer service here.
