Store associates are friendly and helpful. Went here to buy some heavy duty waterproof boots. They don’t have too many options. The quality of the items seems to be good though. Other than that they have a corner for denims and jackets and shirts.They have a section for camping gear but I did not go by there so don’t know how many options they have or so as to quality.Overall it is a decent store.

Pros: Staff was extremly helpful and friendly, no seriously they were fantastic. Store layout was comfortable and cool with lots of clothing and accessories to pick from. Will be returning in the future to buy my mates some great quality packs.

The staff knows and has experience the gear. I was fully informed on my purchase. I mentioned I had a small rip on my old lv18 and I was swapped out with a brand new one!!!!!😎 I felt like I got a free backpack.

My wife and I always buy boots from 5.11. My current pair are going on 4 years of daily use. They are very durable and comfortable. There is another factor that goes beyond the quality of the product. The staff at this location is beyond compare. The customer service is outstanding. They stand behind and believe in the product. I constantly send people to this store as I know they will be well taken care of. Attached is a photo of my wives boots.

Disappointing. Im having had to lower my expectations of 5.11 product quality and this stores customer service regularly. I bought this hat at this store for a decent price. I love the head band design; its comfortable and flexible. Since its new, I wear it while out and about but not while working in the yard, etc., but and as you can see, it has discolored due to sweating. Thinking this was ridiculous, I took it back to the store just to be told it was sweat stains (NO JOKE, CPT OBVIOUS!!). If I wanted I could take it up with the manufacturer. It just reinforces the separation between 5.11 Tactical products and this store that everyone else posts about. With the exception of a couple of items, I think their products are overpriced and overhyped.

Waste of a trip. I called but no one answered the phone. I drove from one side of town to the other just to find out that the 5.11 store didnt carry a particular brand of 5.11 pants or shirts. The wasted trip couldve been avoided had someone answered the phone.

Open, clean, well-lit. Sadly, due to COVID and other circumstances, this location doesn’t stock women’s “short” pants. They have regular and long, but the regular are still long for a woman of average height...

Love going to the Alamo ranch one, will never go to the San Pedro location again. Worked with Kaila? - She calls herself an assistant manager, one time and never will again. Not only is she rude as all get out she has no idea what she’s talking about when it comes to equipment or supplies. Aren’t you supposed to know something about what you’re selling? Jesus Christ.

We were greeted and welcomed by an employee as soon as we stepped into the doorway which was great. The store was extremely clean and well stocked with merchandise all in its place. I had been all over the city trying to find a particular rifle sling that until then, could only find online. Ended up finding here $10 cheaper and didnt have to wait on shipping. Employees were very friendly, patient and knowledgeable.Thanks for the great experience guys n gals.

Kaila (sales associate) was awesome. When I walked in, she immediately welcomed me with an excitement that is rarely experienced in a retail setting. I said I needed pants and she correctly sized me up saving time trying on pants. Kaila offered suggestions and was extremely helpful getting me in the right pants and out the door. This store and these guys are fantastic. Their customer service is top notch and their store is bright and well laid out. I had some of the original 511 tactical sturdy cotton womens pants that were given to me as a gift that just didnt fit so I never wore them. I took them in on a chance that they might give me some consideration as a trade and they did one better. They looked up the price and gave me full credit for both, helped me find two comparable replacements that fit great and gave me the sale 20% off of my new ones! What a great deal! I will definitely shop there again and will make sure all my active duty folks and first responders know just how great these guys are. Their staff made the difference for me. Im one extremely happy camper (no pun intended)!

I was stunned by the excellent customer service here! Jeremy helped me choose tactical pants that I need for the EMT program as well as a bag that I needed for school. He knew each one, its intended purpose and all the multi-functions of each piece of kit. I recommend anyone searching for gear to stop in & ask for him.

Great service and lots of selection. I was looking for khaki cargo pants and they had lots but they just werent for me. But Im very picky about my pants.

The customer service is amazing. Gave me advise in products and wasnt shy to steer me towards products that would be better suited for me, even if I spent less. This kind of service means that I will be back, and buying more gear from these helpful ladies. Ansewered all my questions, very knowledgeable about the products and personable. Highly recommend this store. Superb customer service. This is rare these days.

Great clothes but not much for real camping as it indicates on advertisements shown on Windows

After a quick perusal of reviews, it seems I visited on an off day. I had an extremely disappointing first visit. Before leaving my house, I looked online to see if this store even had what I was trying to hunt down. They did, but I wanted to put my hands on it before I paid $200 for it, so I packed up my son, and drove an hour to this location. I walked in, got no greeting because the woman working behind the counter was working with a couple that was buying multiple items, and were doing so while still walking around all over the store. Having worked years in retail, I recognize a shopping spree when I see one, and found the section I wanted by myself (not difficult, well lit, clean, organized store), and we went that way. I assumed I would get help from another associate, as I saw movement in a back room. I started looking at what I wanted, and by the time I got to the 3rd one, I had quite a few questions. I was meandering around with my son, talking him down from being afraid of a mannequin, walking around, looking, in no rush, but after a while I realized I was one of maybe 2 customers in the store, and still had not even been waved to, or acknowledged in any way. The employees only door had been shut, and the associate behind the counter cheerily greeted a new customer that just walked in. I, by this point, was getting very irritated. I loudly and quickly ripped off a huge patch of velcro (really good quality stuff too, I had to put some oomph behind the pull) making a resoundingly loud noise, and waited. No one. No one came to help, no one said Ill be right there, nothing. Could I have walked down the stairs with my 3 year old, to go find help? Absolutely. Did I? HELL NO! Im willing to be patient. Im not willing to hunt down sales help. Ill go somewhere else. There was some really good looking stuff in here, but this store will never get my money. I will also be pasting this review on my social media account. Good luck to the franchisees who own this business and everyone who works there. Wish yall the best. Wont be back.

I just dived in to buy some BRCC while I waited for my blends to be shipped. Their selection of coffee is as good as one could expect to find online, and they have other merch from the famous 2A friendly company, which makes me happy.There’s a lot of “wish list” items in here, I didn’t spend much time in here to look. I will add that I thought the staff was very friendly, and that their ability to have a store that is great looking is top-notch.

I love 5.11 gear and order a ton of their stuff online, but its nice to be able to see and feel it prior to buying it. This store, staffed by super friendly folks is well stocked and their prices are not outrageous relative to what youre paying when ordering online... Definitely not what Im used to when hitting up a brick and mortar. I highly recommend stopping by when youre in San Antonio.

She really took the time to help me figure out what it was that my husband sent me in there for (because I wasn’t sure myself). My honey and I came to this store to get hin some tactical pants. Its a nice and well kept store. We had some awesome help from Jeremy! If you need something explained whether its about material, price or about the pant pockets... hes the guy to see. He is very nice, easy going, funny and understanding of your needs. Jeremy went out of his way without us even knowing that he had called other stores to see if they had an XL black jacket with fleece. We told the guy at the register about Jeremy and to please let the store manager know how much help he was, but something made me doubt that he would. I could be totally off. Neat outlet with a large amount of 5.11 items to get eyes and hands on. All the clothes, but still none for me at 30x34, but thats the forever struggle. Everyone else should be fine! Be prepared to be there a hot minute if you like the brand.

Super poor served, went to pick up uniforms and was informed they would have to special order uniforms because they did not have their own merchandise in store. I guess Im old school but if you advertise that you sell something then you should have it in stock. This would be understandable in this has been a one time incident but it has happened twice now. Employees are not real friendly or helpful and lost out on about $1000.00 dollar sale. Maybe they will get their stuff together and start improving their service but I dought it.

Terrible customer service and low inventory. Employees hangout at the cash counter and chat. Do not offer assistance until you ask for it. Not a good experience, just drive a few extra miles to Top Brass Tactical. It is a way better store, with greater selection.

Called and spoke with Jared about a tear on my 5.11 rush 72 and was asked to bring it by. Took it by and met with Jared he looked it over and replaced it under warranty. WOW! Didn’t expect that level of customer service. Very helpful and fast the entire process took minutes. This is exactly why you spend the extra money on a great quality brand like 5.11.Thanks Jared !! It isn’t only the quality of the brand but the people that represent it.

Great store for tactical gear, I picked up a gun belt of exceptional quality.

Bunch of neat stuff here, and staff thatll take time to make sure youre taken care of. Military folk should feel right at home - it reminded me of Clothing Sales on base.

My husband and I have been here many times before, but today’s experience was horrible. One person at the counter greeted us when we walked in, but it looked like she was the only one there. Another employee came from the back and never acknowledged us or asked if we needed help. My husband was looking for a few specific items and they were out of his size in EVERYTHING. I asked the guy, who was now at the register, if they had my husband’s size in a certain shirt. He stated “No, everything that is out is all we have” and that was that. No, “We can order it for you” or “I’m sorry” or “You can find it online.” The woman was nice enough to direct me to another pile of the same shirts in a different location and we settled on a size bigger. We continued walking around, and both employees stayed behind the counter. Never asked us if we needed anything...we got ready to check out and put our things on the counter. It was the guy as our cashier. Not a word about whether or not we found everything okay...not a word about anything really. My husband paid and he handed us the receipt. Not even a “thank you, have a nice day.” It’s really disheartening to have this experience in a specialty store that is far from our home and expensive to begin with. And now they’re opening a new location at Alamo Ranch. Hopefully they have better people working there. Best part about all of this (sarcasm) is that today is my husband’s birthday and that’s why we went in the first place...

This is the man cave and the most favorite place of my husband, he feels like a kid looking all the different things they have and me too, very friendly people and helpful all the time 🙋‍♂️🤗

5.11 makes really nice gear, but unfortunately, this store was out of stock in smaller women’s sizes in all of the items I was interested in

As a civilian, I thought I might find some interesting items I dont normally come across. I didnt see anything I couldnt get elsewhere. Looked like good quality.

My wife and I visited the 5.11 Tactical @15693 San Pedro, SATX, on 23 NOV and then went back to purchase more Stryke Pants for me. They have such a large selection of everything, not just clothes. Picked up some Christmas gifts while there. 3 Employees really stick out, Jeremy, Ann, and Kaila. All 3 of them are very helpful and are experienced to answer any questions, none of them are afraid to say, I dont know that answer. They directed me to the right person. They have gained a customer for life! My wife and I will be back. Very friendly, very professional and helpful! The clothes are great quality and worth the price.

Very judging... went in looking for a duty belt for work. N was told multiple times about the price of items here. Felt like I was being watched and judged the whole time I was there.

I do like this store has a lot to offer and staff is very friendly. My son likes the clothing and tactical backpacks they sell, stock may be hit or miss on some items but still a unique experience.

Really nice store that allows you to try on all kinds of 5.11 apparel but I would never buy anything from here unless it was on a steep discount. I have several pairs of 5.11 pants and never paid more than $50.

I tried ordering some clothing from 5.11 over the phone but I was told that they couldnt do it. They said it was for safety purposes for the customer since they couldnt be sure it was actually me. It is a bit of an inconvenience seeing as I live 35 minutes away from the store, but I will say that I appreciate them looking out for me and my financial security. Its nice to see someone looking out the customer.

Anytime you have to ask a question or ask for help, you can just see it in their face. There is a couple of employees there that this does not pertain to. Absolutely love the products and plan to keep buying 5.11 but probably wont buy from this store in the future. Had to order pants due to the store not having size in stock. Was told 2 weeks due to a delay in the warehouse. Its been over 6 weeks and was told it may be another 3 weeks. Store has gotten products in but will not contact customers waiting and will not fulfill orders placed. Doesnt seem right from a business standpoint to make customers wait for something they already paid for amd sell current stock to others.

We were the only people in the store the male and female working didnt even ask if we needed help. When I inquired about 511 pants for women in short. She said 511 doesnt even make them in short.

Walked into the store on 12-8-2017 store manager said 25% off store wide on everythijng I wanted the Apex Belt that was marked $39.99 went to check out he said my total was $59.99, I told him its marked $39.99 manager said thats a mistake. So I showed him all the other belts were marked 39.99. Manager then says he cant give me the store wide 25% off because they made a mistake on the pricing. Wow screw you 5.11 San Antonio. You guys should learn a thing or two about honor and integrity!

Zero stars. This store has really has really gone downhill. Customer service, good inventory, and store appearance is not a priority. Stood by the optics counter to be ignored by store staff busy folding t-shirts. Save your time and frustration and go somewhere else.
