Tim was great and the mechanics and staff are amazing great prices and it was great chilling waiting knowing that my truck was fixed with in the time frame they advised me.. thank you all for the great experience my baby girl love the staff too. I struggled with finding the solutions to my cooling problems in my party bus. Naturally when I heard about D & D Auto Air Conditioning, I called and made an appointment right away. I finally felt that there was someone who could and would help me in getting my bus cool. I met Tim Rowan (one of the mechanics) whom I felt after listening to my problems, would address my needs by fix the problem. I was wrong. On my initial visit, Tim change a hose where he explained was leaking. That cost me almost $200. I was told to bring the bus back for further problem fixing. The estimate cost was $1500. Two days into the repairing, Tim called me to say that the original estimate was incorrect, and that the new estimate would now be $3500. I had no choice, Tim had my bus and I was at his mercy. I approved the cost. I finally received the bus about 3 days later when Tim bragged about his work but felt that he was not responsible for replacing the cabinetry he pulled apart. I obliged by saying that I would put it back together although I did not know how, and paid Tim my final bill of $3791.12. Excited to have my bus running with cool air, we took it on assignment 2 days later only to discover that the bus a) not only did it not have cool air, b) it now made a horrible noise coming from the engine. I made the decision to send the bus to the client with no air.Obviously the client did not have a good experience and demanded a refund. I took the bus back to Tim and explained my situation hoping he would give me some kind of refund. Tim said no. I am disappointed with the lack of service and workmanship I received from D & D Auto Air.I felt that more could have been done. I would not recommend D & D to anyone.

I brought these guys a rather challenging problem.I have a Mazda, with a Chevrolet engine. I wanted to get the AC dialed in and working.Tim and his crew went above and beyond. The education I got on the components and how everything works was worth it alone.Couldn’t be happier.

This was the best auto repair I have ever experienced! I was able to get my car in quickly after calling D&D and getting multiple quotes based on the severity of my AC issues. Tim was able to fix my vehicle’s AC compressor in half the time and at half the price I had anticipated. I felt fully respected and cared for at D&D and would recommend it to anyone!

Took my 2016 nissan to get checked on why it doesnt cool during the Daytime only Now its worst than when I took it In at least at night I had Cold Air now I dont have anything felt ripped off and to Expensive. They Drained my refrigerant.

All I can say is This is the best auto A/C store in san Antonio. Service is better here then carlisle air. I built my A/C parts with these guys fast and simple on the same day. Jonathan and maria are real nice and will help you every step of the way. Best part is that prices are inexpensive here too.

Nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Has the equipment for the new R1234YF freon and is the only place besides the dealership that can charge the new A/C systems. Fast, fair and friendly. Way cheaper than the dealership too. Thanks guys!

After days of being in the shop doing extensive work (and $1,800 later), I pick it up to take the car home. Notice the car doesn’t blow normally. I called the owner and says to bring it back. Did some research and I replaced the fan relay. Now it blows on all settings. Oh, I spent all of $30 to fix it. Guess you know my recommendation!

I took my 2008 ford focus in for the tensioner, belt, AC and oil change that was done the same day. Second trip was for the front engine mount which made a world of difference. The owner is very professional and does not try to make you do more to your vehicle than is actually needed. I highly recommend them for anything that you need to do to your vehicle. They installed a A/C unit in my 1950 Studebaker Starlight coupe which is pretty much an impossible task due to no space under/inside the dash board. they did it and it works great! Good job....fair price.I am really enjoying the A/C in hot San Antonio!

In Texas no one should go without A/C. As a poor college student desperate to fix my broken A/C, I searched for a place that would give me a fair price and treat me with respect. Luckily, I found D&D! The customer service was amazing and the staff ensured I understood the problem and they fixed it for a great price. Had a AC compressor repaired due to it having a leak causing it to blow hot air, After a few months the air stopped blowing cold, when I took the car back to have it checked I was asked for my receipt. I told him that I had misplaced my receipt and he told me then there was nothing that he could do for me. I told him cant you look up my name or look at the history from three months ago and he said no. They were really helpful the first time I went in and paid but this time they were so quick to get me to leave since I had this issue. I just had it done right somewhere else and havent had a problem since.

So thorough, and knowledgeable. Have been going here a long time. They really know how to get problem solved.

Walk in inspections done quickly for your vehicle. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, even with needing to replace a bulb (which they had in stock AND installed for cheap) to pass inspection.

You want experience and respect and a friendly environment come here to get your vehicle serviced I highly recommend.

I made an appt. in the morning to come at 1:00 to have my AC recharged. I showed up exactly at 1:00 and at first the old man in the shop said I told you to come at 1:00. After he realized his mistake and that it was in fact 1:00 he tried to tell me that he was too busy to take the job. I took off work to drive across town to this guys shop and this is how I am treated. I didnt even receive an apology. I drove across the street to Seymours Garage and they took care of it for me in one hour and the guy behind the counter said that he appreciated my business.

They know auto AC like nobody else.
