Sandra Tanner is a great-great-granddaughter of Brigham Young. She is full of Jesus, His love and joy. She and her late husband Jerald devoted their lives to finding and sharing The Truth. When in SLC, visit her store right across the street from the AAA baseball park!

The work that has come out of Utah Lighthouse Ministry over the last several decades has just been absolutely fantastic. Sandra was wonderful when I went in.The reproductions that they have there were very interesting to look at.

Were spent half an hour in this little book shop. Sandra Tanner was a great source of information. We purchased a couple of books and were offered an array of free publications. So glad we stopped by.

A must for anyone seeking the truth about Mormonism. Sandra Tanner is a true pioneer who is related to Brigham Young and left the Mormon church and now leads this important ministry to educate and empower people. Tons of books on Joseph Smiths history, as well as Christian resources for growth and encouragement.

Interesting bookstore. Was sorry that the attendant was bad mouthing other Evangelical Christians over what seemed to be trivial matters. He was from mrm.

Awesome shop full of very useful study resources for Christians looking into LDS. I’ve visited a few times and every book I got has been a gem.I’m planning to visit again soon for some materials on the LDS priesthood and what exactly they are, do and maybe some history on the subject.

Utah Lighthouse Ministry is a ray of Hope in Utah. Sandra is an ancestor of Brigham Young but has left the Mormon faith after finding the truth of Christianity. The bookstore is full of fantastic literature and resources regarding the truth of Christianity and the falsehoods of the LDS Faith. One of the most fun things in the store is the replica of the golden plates that Joseph Smith allegedly translated into the Book of Mormon. Try to lift them and ask the volunteer (or Sandra) to explain why they are there and why its important. Also, if you are LDS and are wondering about the truth of the LDS Faith I highly recommend visiting because you will find great information here without any judgment.

This ministry is led by the wonderful Sandra Tanner, and has historically been the leading force behind getting the truth exposed from many lies or mis-told histories by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sandra is very friendly and knowledgeable, and her shop has a very welcoming and humble atmosphere to it. She is happy to answer any questions you may have regarding Mormonism, and has also given counsel for many seeking answers or guidance in their faith journeys.Economically speaking, her shop offers a place to find rare or generally expensive materials regarding the church, for decent prices. She also has many books that her husband Jerald and she wrote, which offer top-notch investigation and research into the truth claims of the LDS church. Both Mormons and ex-Mormons would do good to stop by and take a look, chat with Sandra, and learn a little more about the real and often ugly history behind the LDS church.

Store was a bit dreary and kind of sad, I was disappointed in the books I bought because I thought they were going to be better written. They lacked a lot of references that would have added to their credibility.
