The Bruen pantry has all sorts of much needed stuff that is also free like all the food hanging out by some very caring and helpful angels that are much appreciated during these tough times. 🤗

Your lady in the testing room is extremely rude. Ive had to take many tests here to get my licenses and certification for my career. The lady here has been rude to me multiple times. You shouldnt have someone who treats people this way in your resting room. I have anxiety and ptsd. She caused me to have a panic attack before my test. Which upsets me because I had to pay $90 for this test. Im already a nervous test taker and she added to that. Im also pretty sure she was discriminating against me for how I look. There was also another guy there that didnt say anything while she was being rude and I even brought up the fact that she was triggering an atrack on me.

I Love the location of this college branch. We have resilient instructors and classes here also. Im planning to take some here for summer.

Excellent venue for the Sundance film festival. Never a bad seat in the house and the staff are extremely friendly.

South city campus store is a bit small for how big the building is. Although it has a variety of textbooks and artistic supplies. People who work here are very helpful as well.

I came here to take the NPOST, and this place was pretty clean especially for what’s going in the world. I’m fairly indifferent on how establishments take precautions (or lack thereof in certain instances) especially when it comes to sanitizing touch points. As I walked through the hallways all I saw was staff walking around and sanitizing high traffic touch points. It’s the little things that we appreciate. Thank you SLCC!

Good luck finding guest parking. Oh and you pay at a small booth, thats not labeled clearly. The worst place to take a test.

They didnt let me know that a book I had was late until I received a $240 charge on my debit card which will also cause me to to have an overdraft on my account. I cant dispute the charge for a week since they are closed for the holidays. Also the book I used less than five times cost over $100 to rent! Yes it is my fault for forgetting but come on be a little more accommodating. Moral of the story is dont get books until your professor tells you to, get used books on eBay, and do not use the bookstore unless it is absolutely necessary!

Get your books online. Its cheaper.

Wonderful venue for concerts. Staff were very helpful. Restrooms and drinking fountain in good location.

Really nice school overall. They have so much going on, its hard to keep up. The bookstore has a ton of different snacks and school supplies. My brother says that the plays here are very good. The staff at the vocational testing center were very nice and efficient.

This is my old high school building that they now reside in. They have done a marvelous job in reconstructing manys the old nostalgic appearances and remodeled the interior to suit the new college students needs.

Great place. Easy to access from the uta. Ease of access to everything for persons with disabilities.

This is a great school, especially for the value. The class sizes are small and the teachers are well qualified. I would recommend that a student satisfy their general credits here for a four year degree. Most credits are transferable.

There are books i guess

Stand in one place and someone will come to help. Knowledgeable, theyll walk you over to the book youre looking for.

I really like this location and the professors. But FAFSA’s front desk & customer service ruins it for me.I always get the same issue w/their employees. They can never help nor answer any of my questions.My theory on this is, is that they don’t understand how FAFSA works.

Hector is always going above and beyond to help take care of business. Sometimes theres a bit of a wait, but Im not the only student needing attention and I understand that. Overall great experience. These people care.(Period)

.Got ripped off for my criminal justice 1010 book. It costs 25$ ebook online without the salt lake community college 1010 smacked on the front cover with some really horrible cover photo. Only go to the bookstore to find your books author, edition of the book and publication year. Get the same stuff for your course online really cheap without the community college titled cover your probably paying an extra 60$ for. What a scam

The food court at SLCC was recently closed down by the health department because of overflowing sewage from a drain as well as a dirty pizza oven. Eating at this college is similar to the education. Do so at your own risk. The professors are unemployables at other universities. Don’t waste your money. Don’t waste your family’s money. Don’t waste the government’s money. Find a better school to pursue your educational dream.

The South Campus is truly unique. The employees are wonderful here too. And if you get a chance the snack bar inside the building is yummy. The cook there is the very best.

Very reluctant to let me rent a textbook from this location. Cashier scoffed at me multiple times and spoke down to me without knowing everything I needed. Selection is good though.

Beautiful venue. Small crowds. Play choices tailored to a more mature audience.

Theater wonderful for a 5 Piano recital.

Parking is limited at best. Tickets are quick to be administered. There is a stage/theater for performances. They host art shows throughout the year.

Old South High School. Great place for an art campus. Film studio, news studio, radio studio, theatre, animation, and more. Awesome and amazing campus.

This is a book store. Im not sure but maybe there is a book about sushi. You could learn to make your own.

Hard to park

Im just starting out classes in the film program in this pandemic its hard to tell what its usually like but I am looking to taking more classes.

They really rock and the staff is super friendly. Im a customer for life. I would refer anyone to the guys and theyve hot me as a customer for life..

SLCC is great Im going back at 47 and feel just as comfortable as if I was going as a young adult. Maybe you should check it out

Clean and easy to find however it is all paid parking. Not visitor friendly. Need to park on street!

It is quite expensive! I feel like it is nice to have the store on campus so it is convenient but it is expensive at the same time. I guess you pay the price of commodity. I also went to do the buy back program and they will not accept to buy back a book because of the title as they didnt actually needed to get the specific book. And for one that I paid over 40 dlls they offered me 3 dlls. Thats a joke come on.

Great campus, but its also a high school, which can get annoying at times. Lots of 15-17 year olds sitting around in stairwells and throwing fruit. Like there is an excessive amount of fruit throwing happening.

Parking is a pain in the butt, however the campus was easy to navigate and the testing center was easy to find.

I have only been to the South side of the building. Once for a highschool trip. Now I go there to take classes there while Im still in highschool. Still a very nice welcoming building.

The Grand Theatre is a beautiful venue. The performances from the school are top notch.

Ive gone here for Expanding Your Horizons, two years in a row, and its a great place to be. Great learning environment.

The school counselors here are very helpful and will straighten you out w/ what you want to do. School for generals are best priced here. Lots of opportunity and help when you go to SLCC. The building is old and kinda modernized in some areas.FYI TO TRADESWent here to get info on my Apprenticeship and it got really confusing given the fact tje engineering/trades building is at the Taylorsville campus. If you are trying to get info on the Trades, head to the Taylorsville campus.

Loved my time spent at slcc especially this campus. Small class sizes affordable tuition and teachers who knew what they were talking about.

Im a student there and I do say this college is great for learning. I admire their professor or as they call them instructors and their wisdom of what they teach...i would say this school would be good for any one who want a communiyy college exsperience.

Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. This is not a tight ship. I have encountered substantial setbacks at every stage of my experience at SLCC. There are some good faculty members, but as an institution this college is sorely lacking.

Everyone is friendly who works there. The selection of text books can be hit or miss, but overall they have most of the essentials for starting up your classes.
