Great atmosphere! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. its always a great experience. I love to settle into the comfy seating area and visit with friends while sipping a delicious drink. They have yummy pastries as well. And on my most recent visit, I picked up a bag of Costa Rica coffee to brew at home. Had my first cup this morning. Its fantastic! I love supporting a local business as well.

I absolutely love the coconut latte. It’s expensive though. It’s damned near six bucks for a cup of coffee. However, I sit in that comfortable atmosphere, and read, which takes some of the steam out of the price. It’s a nice place.

Wasn’t too happy with my smoothie choice. The manager can see it on my face and insisted on getting me a new flavor. We’re just passing through and was pleased with the hospitality that we received.

I ordered an iced chai latte because thats my go to drink. It was ok honestly. Ive had better iced chai tea lattes locally. It wasnt strong enough in my opinion with a very weak to mild chai flavor. The inside and outside were decorated quite nicely for fall and the staff (mostly teenage girls) all very friendly. I will try something thats not chai next time to give then a second chance.

This is the first time I went to Koco Java and I really enjoyed the experience. I was not sure what I wanted, but Bethany made a great recommendation! Everyone was so friendly and kind.

The girls are the best! They always know what I get and have never made it wrong, making it convenient when Im in a rush. Definitely won a regular with me. Friendly, fast and great customer service couldnt ask for anything better.

Super affordable and well made coffee. We moved to Salisbury from Charlotte and Im so excited to have a great coffee shop close to home. The coffee and coffee drinks are really well made. The bagels and pastries were delicious and the employees were super friendly. Overall it was a lovely experience that Im excited to repeat ☺️

This was my first visit here and IM IN LOVE ‼️ I got a caramel macchiato and blueberry muffin for less than 7bucks. I believe that is very affordable. This muffin is unbelievably soft and this coffee is better than Starbucks HANDS DOWN!!!!!! I will definitely be returning.

A fantastic coffee shop with a friendly staff. The roasts are wonderful, especially the “jingle bells” roast at Christmas time.

Stopped by here for some coffee and was not disappointed. Great tasting specialty coffee, whole bean coffee, and pastries. Friendly staff and prices that wont empty your bank account like other places. I got a 20oz white chocolate mocha and a Glorias (Glorious) Morning muffin for the price of just a 20oz coffee at one of those burnt bean coffee chains. Highly recommend stopping by.

Everything about this coffee shop was great!...the service was friendly. The place was neat and clean. The decor was awesome....My husband and I got our drinks and pastry almost as soon as we sat down. And of course, the actual coffee was fantastic!...keep it up girls!!!!!

Delicious and nice atmosphere

Fantastic people and fantastic coffee! They roast their own coffee, and Arturo is constantly going places to try to make his coffee even better. They are very much a part of the community. The coffee is great, you have seemingly infinite options, and it’s significantly better than the ever present Starbucks.

I LOVE this coffee shop! I worked at a downtown law firm and would visit Koco Java regularly. The staff are great and I loved the owner and his wife! One day I went in there after doing a red eye flight and the owner (I can never spell his name) created me a custom espresso packed drink, it was delicious and got me through my work day! I HIGHLY recommend this place not only for the drinks but also the atmosphere! I just wish I had one in the new area I live.

Their frappes are delicious! You get a good mix of coffee and flavoring for a nice balance. Its cravable. Its my favorite coffee place now. I gotta have it everytime I visit Salisbury!

Love it it’s cozy warm and has the best pastries and desserts there I really do recommend if you want to read or relax. Just like a Starbucks but you just feel at home.

First time to visit Koco Java. Nice looking place. I ordered a plain grande coffee which was about $2.50. All I had was a $20 and didn’t want change so I handed him my debit card. He (Jose i think) gave a dissatisfied facial expression when I handed it to him. I asked if they took debit and he said it didn’t matter that he gets an average of an $.80 charge on every credit transaction. Then went on about out of every transaction it’s a 5% average bla bla bla. I just wanted a coffee not an economics lesson. So what’s 5% of zero. Because I won’t be coming back. I’ll pay $5 for a coffee and a smile. Free coffee and a bad attitude... no thanks. Word of mouth can be your best or worst enemy.

Koco Java as always is a delight. I was having an afternoon business meeting and this was the perfect location.Just the right mix of noise and privacy, so it feels perfect for meetings.All the staff are always so nice and helpful.Way more than just a coffee shop. Although, their coffee is pretty amazing.

Coffee is always good here, however todays closing employees need to learn some professional courtesy!! Its more polite to tell customers that its closing time rather than turning the lights out on them ☹️

I stop here at least 2x a week for an iced chai latte with a charge (espresso shot) and usually get a bagel or cheese danish....sooo good!! They are way more reasonably priced than the chain coffee place and the quality is equal or better.

I love coming to this coffee shop. The coffee is fantastic and the service is excellent. The owner Art is a great guy who is at the shop everyday. I like a good cup of coffee and I would much rather give my money to a local guy supporting his family rather than a chain establishment that cares nothing about customer relations and community involvement.

Weve been coming to this wonderful cafe` since they have opened. They roast their beans they receive from throughout the world. The owners are fantastic people!! The seating is lovely, spacious, comfy and they offer free Wiifii. They offer a wide variety of drinks not limited to coffee. They also have delicious pastries!

This is my favorite local coffee shop. The owners and staff always serve you with a smile and and warm welcome. Never had one unpleasant experience and will continue patronize them and wish them continued success.

Its a cool coffee place. Nice comfy couches. Some of their iced coffee drinks have way too much sugar but their espresso is good. We had a good time here.

About 5 minutes (give or take) from I-85. Its a small local coffee shop superior in every way to the chain coffee shops. Great tasting coffee and coffee products. The owner roasts his own coffee to boot. Its worth the trip.

A local institution, Koco Java is a great place to get some coffee, sit and read or work, or meet with friends. I also buy my coffee beans here, at a very reasonable price for an honest pound of quality coffee. I usually prefer single-source, but the Salisbury Blend is excellent.

Very nice environment and friendly service. The sticky bun was good . The coffee was good but strong roast. Would be nice if the coffee is served in porcelain or ceramic cups and the pastries in porcelain too. It does not use plastic ware.

The German Chocolate Latte was super delicious, the mango smoothie is solid, and they were kind and (after asking me) gave my 1 yo a little cup of whipped cream with a drizzle of caramel on top so he wasnt left out. If Im in the area again Ill definitely be paying them a visit.

Out of all of the coffee shops I frequent, Koco Java has to be my favorite place to buy the most unbelievably fresh coffee I have ever tasted. The aroma of the store when pulling in through the drive-thru is like a breath of fresh air. The actual taste of the coffee redefines my senses and starts my day with a calm euphoria. The staff are incredibly friendly and focus on providing the best customer service.If you are looking for a great coffee place, this is the shop to go to.

The coffee there is awesome and the service is far better than at Starbucks all at lower prices. Yes, better quality, friendlier service and spend less money. How can you loose? And oh, all of the coffee beans are roasted on site in the store.
