Very good and decent price service.

Took over a month for transmission to be repaired. Free tow with service is advertised, they charged almost $200 for that. Free diagnostic is also advertised, they charges almost $400 for that. Took almost two weeks for them to even get into looking at the issue. Also asked if the shop accepted credit cards BEFORE having them come get the vehicle, they said yes-after they had the vehicle for over a month with very little communication(only got responses through text-extremely unprofessional), we were charged $4000. Upon arrival to pick up vehicle, they disclose that there would be a 4% surcharge for cards-another $400-that’s more than half of the average household mortgage-simply for using a card as method of payment. Your average customer will not have $4000 to pay in cash. Just all around, poor experience. Would not recommend to ANYONE.

Called to check on my car got a lot of attitude because it was only 9 oclock in the am I guess that means that youre not entitled to check on your car so just wait around until someone calls you very unprofessional the guy even asked where else are you going to take it as if they are the only guys that can fix transmissions I wouldnt recommend the Flintstones take their car here if youre getting a repair I think you should be allowed to call and know whats going on especially when someone is about to spend $1500-$2000 with you so I picked my car up because I dont trust them to work on it

Terrible experience. Won’t return calls or emails. Jim, the owner, has zero integrity and will lie to your face. F Rating. Ended up having my vehicle for SIX MONTHS! The owner loves to claim that he “has never had a customer by this name”. Well Jim, I’m attaching proof...

It took them TWO MONTHS to complete a transmission rebuild, communication was almost zero. Upon picking up the vehicle, there was damage to the drivers side door which they claimed they would submit to their insurance. They refuse to answer calls or emails and I have had no further responses from them. They refuse to answer phone calls or emails. I rarely take to google reviews to raise awareness about bad business dealings, but I have never experienced terrible service this bad.

I cant say enough good things about the owner Jim who opened his store during the holiday so my daughter would have transportation. The owner kept in contact with me throughout the repair keeping me abreast of his findings. He did a great job explaining everything to me and repairs were done with the upmost quality. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!! Excellent service. Im very pleased that I brought my daughters car to this shop.

No misprint, No typo. Overpriced and damaged vehicle.

If I could give this zero stars I would. We took our car up to this shop to see what was wrong with our transmission. $80 to put on computer and $400 to pull transmission because computer didnt say what was wrong. That was fine. Found out it needed a complete new transmission would be $5000 We told him just to put the transmission back in and not do anything else, because we did not have the money. He still did everything, without our permission. He said he would send an email for us to sign, and he never sent it and we never signed. We told him twice to not do anything. When we went to talk to him in person, another male was in there complaining about the same thing. He only cares about the money, not the customer wishes. Its all sketchy the way he works.

I have been to many, many mechanics in the past. I have been blow away by the integrity, respect and attention that they gave me. I will bring my truck back anytime since I had a hard time fixing it. They resolved my issue with no difficulty!!! Way to go guys!

Jim is wonderful. He helped me with my transmission problem and is very knowledgeable. I would recommend American Transmission for any of your needs. Honesty goes a long way these day and thats what you get with Jim.

Great business! Very friendly and helpful. They rebuilt my transmission in my 00 dodge 1500. It is running great and very pleased with service. Highly recommend and will use again in the future.

They are very slow in responding they couldnt even give records of what they done to truck I would not recommend this place to anyone please choose another place I would not recommend

Jim is extremely unprofessional, rude, and does not stand behind his word. Communication is non-existent. I will never recommend or go back to American Transmission. Don’t ever use his services if you expect an honest job.

They took care of my problems with my car and they always called me to get my ok to repair my car so there were no surprises when I picked it up. They explained everything and they even helped me get financing to fix my car when I didnt have all the $. Thank You American Trans.

Didn’t feel like they were honest.Plus a customer that was there warned me not to deal with them because of the way they dealt with him.Decided to go elsewhere.They wanted me to pay $400 to pull my transmission to see what was wrong.
