Salesman Dennis was great. Installers were terrible! Came in with a negative attitude and fought me over everything. Finally had to get their Mgr on the phone just to get my fridge installed. They left my double oven and stovetop uninstalled. My electrician installed my double oven even though I paid Queen city for this.

After checking other stores as comparison, I elected to purchase appliances at Queen Citybecause of the service, knowledge, product selection. Purchasing new home and required to purcase my own appliances with builder allowance. Queen City recommended by a few people, but coming from another part of country I just was not sure. They were so helpful that I immediately placed my order. Really feel comfortable using them as communication very good!

Was given a timeframe for delivery and received a call when they were on the way. Fast set up of our new washer and friendly workers. After comparing what seemed like hundreds of washers online I found one I liked and QC had the BEST prices. The one I picked out was almost $200 more at Lowes and Home Depot. They also offer cheap options for warranties. Very satisfied with my experience and purchase!

Purchased all of our appliances from Queen City for a new home we are building. We worked with Glenn at the 2430 location and he was nothing less than fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, resourceful, professional, and absolutely customer centric. Weve had multiple delays on our move-in date, and Glenn was been wonderful in helping to manage the delivery of our purchase. I wouldnt shop anywhere else but Queen City, because of Glenn. The Queen City store was great, the delivery was rushed and they made ruts in our yard and broke a tree limb off. The truck was way to big for home delivery. So far the freezer is working great but we havent had it long

I called with a model number and they verified they had what I wanted. Said they could deliver it within 2 days and it was their installed and done right on time. And $400 cheaper than the cheapest competitor I might add. Will definitely shop Queen City again.

I dealt with Stephen at the Salisbury location. He was polite and knowledgeable about the appliances. I didn’t see what I wanted in the store but he located it for me in their system. Stephen scheduled it for delivery to my house in three days. They have great personal service all in all it was good experience.

Sales persons were extremely nice and helpful. Problem came when delivered item was damaged. Had to wait four days to get an undamaged refrigerator. This should not have happened. Delivery manager (?) Did nothing to fix the problem and I was unable to get another refrigerator the same day. Delivery guys were extremely nice.

I highly recommend Queen City Audio Video & Appliances. I ordered a washer/dryer set. When they came to deliver, it was too big to fit through my laundry room door. They left the appliances and came back as soon as I had the door and jamb removed. They finished moving the washer and dryer into place and installed them. They delivery guys were so friendly and the installation guys were great as well.

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer about a week ago. It will be delivered in a week. I was very impressed with Stephen the salesman. It was so nice to go to a smaller business and not have to shop at the larger home and garden stores where there isn’t anyone much to wait on you.Stephen was knowledgeable about the appliances and it was a very pleasant experience. I purchased a gas dryer and he said the delivery guys can set that up and leak test it also!!I will go back there in the future. I prefer to support local businesses now in the age we live in.

The staff were great! They didnt have what I wanted in stock and had no problem ordering it for me instead of trying to push another more expensive item on me. The whole buying process was quick and simple and I will definitely be returning there for any other appliances I may need in the future.

I was pleased that I didnt have to go to the store to purchase the washer and dryer I wanted. Delivery was another issue. 2 washers later, even though it was slightly damaged, I was able to keep it since it was usable and got a discount off of it. I do have to say, the dryer is amazing and drys clothes in 1 cycle!

I was incredibly impressed with the customer service I recently experienced with an online order. Interestingly they were not able to get me what I ordered. I ordered a specific microwave. The sales person followed up quickly to let me know there was an issue with inventory. He offered to walk through the warehouse and call multiple stores to confirm there were no units available. He even called the manufacturer. He suggested a comparable replacement, but I wasn’t comfortable ordering the replacement online. I will go to the store and pick out another model though because this team was so responsive with customer support. Good experience.

Who knew getting a fridge during a pandemic would be an issue! I tried three big box stores to get my fridge but everyone had top mount fridges on back orders for months!! My mom suggested Queen City and I was able to go online, find the fridge I needed and have it delivered in less than a week! On top of that, they upgraded my fridge free of charge because the one I ordered was damaged! The delivery was prompt, quick and efficient! The delivery men were friendly! Everything about this purchase was wonderful! I will definitely be using them from now on!

Purchased a GE dish washer, the unit was a display unit, which we hauled home ourself. Upon hooking it up we discovered a part had been removed and we had water all over our floor. WE returned to unit to the store, in Salisbury, NC. Only to be unable to get a reasonable offer on another damaged display unit. No units in stock. We got our refund and got a unit from Lowes delivered the next day and very happy with that unit.

Bought an LG washer/dryer, great price, units were in stock, quick delivery. Only beef is that I had to call the delivery department five times to get a time window for the next day. Was told they wouldn’t call me, I had to keep calling back. Not the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Otherwise, the delivery crew was very nice, quick, neat, and efficient. I would buy from Queen City again.

Bought washer and dryer at great price.

At the Pineville location they did not seemed to want to help so I left. I called their corporate office. Stephen was a joy to work with. He turned my experience around for me a just a few mins. Their prices beat anybody else who sell appliances in the Charlotte area. The delivery guys are so nice and professional. Not to mention I love my new appliances.

We recently purchased a 45 TV. The salesman was knowledgeable and very helpful. Much better service than at the box store.

The service was compromised because the item had damage. However, the delivery personnel were not comfortable releasing the item with damage. Even though they had already made it all the way to my home for drop off. They were honest with the mishap and quickly corrected the issue by replacing it the next day. The whole experience was positive and reassuring to me that Queen City is a professionally operated company who looks out for the customer first! Thanks Queen City! I look forward to doing business in the future.

Very disappointed in our experience with this company. We purchased a new fridge because we wanted to support a local company. The sales process was great! The salesman was friendly, knowledgeable, not at all pushy and made us feel comfortable. We set up a delivery date for one week later and even got a confirmation call two days before. All was good until delivery day arrived. Our purchase was not delivered on the day it was scheduled and we were not informed it wouldn’t be coming until 7 pm that evening. It was rescheduled for the next business day and again did not arrive at the time promised. Corporate reps were less than helpful and brushed it off like it was no big deal. Sadly I will not use this company again. Guess it’s back to the big box stores!

We came into the store and they were busy, but we didnt have to wait long. The male sales representative was very knowledgeable about the washers we were thinking of buying. He was kind and we bought the washer right then and set up free delivery for a week later. We recieved a confirmation call and reminder call about the washer being delivered. The washer was delivered between business hours and the two gentlemen that delivered the washer were very helpful. They brought the washer in and set it up all within 10 minutes. There is no way I could have completed this any faster and with a smile. The delivery men were very friendly.I highly recommend using Queen City in Salisbury for your appliance needs!

Bought an over-the-range microwave. I knew in advance the exact model that I needed and got it for a great price. I chose to pick it up at the warehouse and the transaction went perfect! I haven’t taken it out of the box yet and can’t comment on the condition or how well it works yet but I will provide a follow up comment.

After checking at several appliance stores we were completely sold on Queen City in Salisbury. We met a terrific and highly knowledgeable sales person. Dennis explained all the details of several dishwashers we were considering purchasing and no other sales representative had given us so much detail. We purchased a Kitchen Aid and were very excited about our purchase. That purchase was on Monday, November 16 th. He checked the delivery schedule and it would be delivered on Saturday. November 21st. We received a call on Friday, November 20th that the installers would arrive between 2:00-6:00pm on the next day. Around 6:00 that evening after waiting all afternoon I called the Salisbury store and talked with Dennis. He checked the schedule and said the installers were still finishing up and we were next in the list. So we waited a little longer and then received a call from the team supervisor for the installers. He said they would not be coming on Saturday because they were 3 hours away. He assured us he would schedule us in on Monday and if that didn’t work he himself would load the dishwasher in his car and deliver it first thing Tuesday morning, November 24th. That was this morning and at 9:05 we had heard nothing from this guy whose name we did not get! I called Dennis and he was very concerned. He made some calls and got back with us. He assured us that the installers would be at our house on Wednesday, November, 25th and we would receive a call on Tuesday night giving us a time. It is 8:33 and still no call to schedule our installation in the morning. I will be going to bed at 9:00! I am deeply disappointed with your company. Mistakes happen, but a simple call from some honest soul would have made this so much more understandable! If we do no hear from someone tomorrow we plan to terminate our sales and request a refund. Honesty and customer service is extremely important from the top on down. Someone has dropped the ball!

Professional from start to finish.

As I share this I desire to split it into 2 sections. The sales experience and then the delivery experience. Our sales experience was very acceptable The sales rep knew his products and their availablity for delivery We discussed all of the pertinent details of the delivery where I talked about requiring it (refrigerator) had to delivered to a second floor location I also mentioned that we had a stair lift on the stairs involved but later this was forgotten by the sales rep involved. Delivery was arranged for the following Wednesday and to our suprise we were called on Monday and asked if delivery could be made the next day. We were delighted and of course accepted the change immediately. Our old refrigerator was sitting upstairs unusable. No refrigerator sure makes life difficult! When the delivery team arrived on Tuesday morning they brought the refrigeator into the house and then began to explain how they couldnt take it upstairs because they only used forearm forklift straps to deliver all products and the refrigeator had to be carried up the stairs in a straight up position and even if I removed the seat from the stairlift the ceiling was too low to accomplish the task. They would not use an appliance dolly and lean it over to carry it upstairs. Queen City sold us the old refrigerator and their delivery guys (Kenny and James) had no problem doing this when we built the house and bought all of my appliances from them. Since our initial purchase we have bought 5 other appliances from Queen City and all were delivered with no issues until now. I had to hire another crew to get the new refrigerator upstairs and get the old one downstairs and carted off. It is my belief that at a mininum Queen City owes me a refund of the haul off fee that I paid for in the orginal purchase price.

We are new to North Carolina and the experience and great customer service I received from Dennis I was proud to be a customer and will be back to shop again real soon he’s very knowledgeable and he cares about his customer’s.

The sales clerk not only helped me find a washer and dryer, he loaded them on my truck and helped tie them down. I didnt have to wait and have it delivered like I was told at another store. He even let me have the floor model dryer so it would match my washer. I will definitely go here when I need another appliance.

After 20 years of doing business with QC in Salisbury today was the last time we will ever do business with them. We purchased a dryer last Monday and it was to be delivered on Saturday. QC called on Friday to confirm the delivery. On Saturday morning they decided that they were not going to be doing deliveries due to the weather. It has done nothing but rain all day here. We were told numerous incorrect statements. We went to get a refund this morning and was told that their system was down and they couldnt process one but as soon as it was up they would and would call us. As of Saturday night we have still not heard back on wither the system was up or down. Again a fail at customer service. We took a short drive to Sunrise appliances in Hickory and purchased a Speed Queen and was able to get it today. Sunrise has great customer service.QC customer service is no where close to what it use to be. Signed, Lost Customer

You guys delivered a refrigerator to my elderly mother. The broke her front window and did not say anything to her. Someone visiting took her outside where she saw it. I called to report it 3 days ago and was told that someone would get back to me within 48 hrs. It not in the 60th hour and I have yet to hear from anyone. The refrigerator itself was a good buy but the service was terrible.

After looking for a new refrigerator to replace one that was circling the drain quickly I went to Queen City. I had looked and looked at refrigerators on the Internet. I also had gone to another local store however I was not impressed by their selection or the help that I received. Before going to Concord searching I remembered Queen City and thank God I did. Queen City has an awesome employee named Jeremy Blackwell. Jeremy was not pushy, listened to what I was looking for and was very knowledgeable. I am so happy that I found exactly what I needed and the price could not be beat. I would highly recommend Queen City and Jeremy Blackwell.

After a terrible experience with Home Depot buying kitchen appliances where our order was inexplicably canceled and waiting on hold to speak to customer service became a nightmare I wasnt sure what to expect doing a contact-less transaction at Queen City. I should not have worried at all. We worked with Abe Chahal at the Pineville location and he was a treat. We spoke on the phone but also worked out details over email. He was responsive and understanding and took great care of us. Delivery was super quick. Ryan and Habib were quick, clean, professional, and personable. They did a great job. We couldnt be more pleased with our experience and now well never buy an appliance anywhere else.

We purchased a HIgh Efficiency GE washer and dryer from Queen City Appliance in Salisbury NC approximately 2 months ago. The salesman that sold us the appliance raved about the quality of the appliance, it’s high rating, and it’s ability to get dirty clothes clean and dry clothes fast. We noticed fairly quickly that it didn’t do that good of a job getting clothes clean, nor did it dry clothes any faster than our previous dryer. Also, after wash, it left a lot of lint on our supposedly clean clothes. We contacted Queen City and they said there was nothing they could do except call a service professional to look at it. I have done business with Queen City for the past 13 years when I moved to Salisbury and purchased a whole house full off appliances and televisions. This is not the first time I’ve been dissatisfied with the products sold to me but I believe it may be the last. Much of the blame goes to the GE appliance I bought. We are convinced the salesman sold us an inferior quality product and knew it. But Queen City’s policy of not taking the appliance back after purchase, is disappointing and next time I will take my business elsewhere. I have every intention of reviewing the washer and dryer.

Very professional and courteous at the store and delivery

A couple of months ago we needed to replace our washing machine. We purchased a GE from Lowes and we were not happy with the quality. Lowes allows 30 day returns and that is exactly what we did . We shopped at Queens and Jeremy Blackwell helped meet our needs. We explained what we were looking for and he directed us to the commercial Maytag washer. Weve had it for a couple of months and could not be happier. The only store that carries a high quality washer that is built to last with a 5 yr. warranty. All others only have a 1 year warranty and a lot of unnecessary features that are not needed. Keep it simple and purchase the best! The Maytag is replacing a Whirlpool that we had for 28 years. We expect the same reliability from it. Jeremy is knowledgeable and doesnt mind taking the time to answer all your questions, so you will be pleased with your purchase.

I bought a washing machine, when they went to haul away the old one, they took by stand with it as well. The salesman Jeremy said it was my fault I should know all stands different and that haul away both. Since they sell both items separate, I viewed them that way, I did not give them permission to take my $200+ stand, if they could not hook up new washer with old stand, they should of called me, instead of leaving a washing machine on the ground, next to a dryer on a stand. So I have one high and one low. My son was home at the time, he did not know better or was not paying attention to what they were doing. Someone from warehouse, is suppose to try and find it and bring it back to me a few days. I guess I am just so hot, because Jeremy was just so rude and disrespectful. I try and do my best to shop local, I got burnt this time.
