Oak Park Market.Love it. This older original market has been around since before me. Yes, its older. Original. And as these independently owned businesses tend to be, it is a little pricey. But the local flavor is worth it.They have a deli/butcher. Which has changed throughout the years. I visited as a customer when they used the wooden slide to bring cuts of meat out of the freezer. They offered bulk packages of meat. Today, not so much.Service is good. Friendly people. Catering more towards the Hispanic community. Still friendly and helpful to everyone. They had anything Ive needed in the past.
Current morning store clerk in clear violation of mandatory mask requirement. Clerk approached without wearing a mask.
Great selection of liquor, fresh meat marinated tri-tip is my favorite, they also serve tacos, burritos, rice and many more things. They accept ebt, cash, debit, credit. Also you can cash a check here and buy lottery tickets out of a vending machine.
My favorite next to carne asada tacos with all toppings is their crema mexicana!
Great little store. Has a little bit of everything.
Everyone working in this store are courteous, helpful and very thoughtful. The meat section is amazing. I have yet to experience everything in this store. I am very fortunate to be able to visit this store often.
They always have what I need.
Not how I remember this place
Good Burritos. And a lil bit of everything here.

Good burritos, tortas and the tacos.
Asada and al pastor burritos are good
Some products are WAY overpriced!! The customer service with the ladies is hit or miss. But the man that sits by the liquor is a complete jerk!! If hes the owner, he needs a huge lesson on customer service!!
