Ive heard of tiny homes and now .... tiny showers? They arent fun. This shower closet hasnt any room for you or your shower items. There isnt a shelf to place your keys or wallet on. It feels like its a 5 foot box. My floor towel became soaked because its 5 inches from the shower and the lack of ventilation was horrible. Itll make you claustrophobic.

I have been stopping here about every 3 months for the last 4 years. I have always been satisfied with the service and selection provided. Above all I like the gas prices. I have not has the opportunity to dine at the Huddle House but when I do I will post about that experience. While we were there the place backed up with customers waiting to check out. The one person behind the counter asked for more help and immediately the other two registers opened up and the line of customers cycled through quickly. That was a refreshing experience since practically everyone there wanted to get back on the road.

If you need to refill your propane dont recommend doing it here . Never know If the only person qualified to fill will be there .

It is 9pm who ever cleans the showers at night needs a raise I dont care about the floor the mirror the sink or the shower I care about one thing that toilet seat and not only was the toilet seat but the whole toilet was sparkling I should have took a picture I could have given 4 because they are a little small but dang that toilet bowl was clean.

It costs 10 dollars as of today, 2JAN2021 to utilize the dump station and the water doesn’t even work. Before you ask, no, no refund.

Decent place to stop, plenty of parking. Clean showers. Huddle House restaurant.

Small J, but the people are Kansas nice.Decent place with all of your typical needs.Huddle House for a restaurant, and the typical hot case.Bathrooms seemed clean. Showers were a little smaller, but not an issue unless youre 500 lbs. You actually pick up about 13 air TV channels.No complaints.

Clean showers, but really tiny, no space to put your stuff just some hangers and small chair. Other than that, no wait time, updated/remodeled . Solid 4*

Dont go there for gasoline. I just did, on Jan. 15, I tried to get gas there. The card readers on their gas pumps would not work. I tried all 3 of my cards and the same thing every time. I ended up having to go somewhere else for fuel. Not a happy camper.

Here is something funny a employee yelled “I’M THE WORST EMPLOYEE.” Lol, but sometimes there will expired food and it’s overpriced. It kinda smells bad in there. So I don’t recommend this place. So yeah two stars for this gas station.

A certain employee (Katie), did not exercise proper hygiene precautions. After several minutes visiting the throne, she left without washing her hands. Gross, Katie. Not cool. I was about to purchase some items until I had seen that you were going to be my cashier. Went to Pilot instead. Flying J, please train your employees simple toddler hygiene.

DANGER: Dont pay at their pumps. They just charged $1,500 with a faulty swipe at the pump. When we called the Manager, she referred us to a corporate telephone number where the phone assistant said we would have to call back Monday. Today is Saturday. Just ruined our holidays for sure. Each time the card was swiped it charged $500 and messaged you to swipe again. Our bank called to notify us of the charges, but could not reverse it since they charged it as a deposit. This is such an outrageous amount that it is actually robbery! Lovely how these corporations manage to get away with robbing people again and again with no fines! Will boycott them from now on. Guess paying cash is the only way to avoid this sort of thing. Will report them to the Better Business Bureau for all that it works.

Excellent service and very nice place

We really love the gas pumps for RVs but when you get there and cars are blocking the entrance to the pump, it’s not so good. After waiting a while, I tried to call the travel center to page the driver of the car but the travel center never picked up, the phone rang so long that, eventually the Verizon recording came on to try the call again. I did and same scenario, nobody ever answered the phone. By now the regular pumps cleared out and we were able to get gas. I guess it’s really not Flying J’s responsibility that inconsiderate people block the pump BUT where was all the staff inside the travel center that they couldn’t answer the phone?Didn’t even bother to go in the store after filling up, can’t imagine that the service inside was any better. Sad,?disappointed, we normally love the FJ’s.

This is a great place to stop when passing through Salina. The bathrooms are nice and always clean. The gas is competitive in price and they have top tier detergent. One added benefit is the large green space that is available if you have dogs or children that could use a place to run off some energy!

Came here at 11 am Saturday. The place has 9 showers but yet when I got here the parking lot being 2/3 empty there was still 7 people in line for a shower. A truck stop with 9 showers should not take 2 hours to service 8 people. When I finally got out of my shower there was a huge line at the counter with three people working. One was a cashier, one the maintenance guy, and the other the deli cook. Apparently someone decided not to come to work and there was no manager on site. Because the deli cook was doing someone elses job there was no pizzas and vary little in the deli case.This location is one of the largest truck stop chains in America. This location is on a major east west interstate, this location is a 24/365 location there is absolutely no excuse for these types of problems. If an employee dont show up for work its the managers responsibility to work for them.The three employee that were there should be commended for there service, even though two of them clearly had little training behind the counter at least they were there trying.Trish the general manager... Maybe you should have corporate find a replacement for you.

Great place for finding truck parking at night. I got here at 9pm last night, and there were still plenty of open spots. Has a huddle house restaurant, laundry, showers, and trans flo. Really a good place.

This little sign on the side of the shower.... Best sign ever. Been in tons of showers in tons of flying Js. And not only was the shower AWESOME with tons of water pressure and tons of hot water... But this little sign... The Best. So many times in a pilot shower struggling to find the hot water only to discover is on the wrong side..... This is the first time Ive ever seen a J actually help a guy out with it. Thank you who ever put this up.

Nice clean rest rooms. We ate dinner then breakfast at the Huddle House. Very good food and the service was the best we have ever received at this location. It is always a stop for us on the way home. It feels safe when we are to tired to continue our journey home.

All facilities are decently maintained, including the showers/restrooms. My only qualm is that their prices on regular items, say, cereal, are marked up about 330%; in other words, this Flying J tends to “nickel and dime” you. I guess that’s what happens when you’re the only place that carries Frosted Flakes in a 200-mile radius, or probably much of anything for that matter. Other than this, you will definitely see some interesting travelers pass through. But I think such is just part of the fun in road trips.

Typical Flying J. Went in two days in a row for fuel. Wanted to grab something hot to eat but everything looked old and fairly gross (roller dogs had bubbles on them??). Bathroom was decent.

Nice truck stop. Wish points were earned as fast as Loves. If they had better perks I think it would increase there business.

Oasis of the Midwest I heard once.... They got some good stuff at the J. Its no QT tho. Not very clean bathrooms... Nice staff tho.

One of the dirtiest Flying Js Ive ever been to. Smelly showers. Unfriendly staff. Flat fountain sodas. Trash cans always overflowing. Pumps in poor working condition. Go to Loves or Petro. Both within a few miles on I-70.

This location is nice. The convenience store is on the small side, but they have several dining options. Only the Hardees and Dunkin Donuts is open 24 hrs, though

Nice size parking lot for passenger vehicles. Great place to take a nap and get restocked on fuel and food on long drives. If you are thinking about going to the Pilot one exit down on I70, think again; parking stinks and the place is run down. I am speaking from a passenger vehicle perspective. Anyway, this is my go to spot when traveling through this area.

We had a great experience here. I appreciated the clean bathrooms. We were really impressed with an employee.... she might have been the manager, her name was Tasha. She was pleasant and helpful to talk with.

This place sucks on coffee!! I asked one of the workers to brew a pot of coffee,she didnt even pour the old coffee out before she made the pot so I got the coffee put 2 creamers in it turned it to a dark brown color,supposed to bring it to a light brown so I asked the manager she brewed a fresh pot but got a attitude about it! The staff here is very rude not very friendly! Every other J Ive been to in other towns or states are very polite,friendly and dont have an attitude about making another Fresh pot of coffee! Ill never get coffee from this J again!!

It’s small the J but the parking lot is large and the showers are very clean. The coffee is always fresh and the Huddle House inside is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Great stop for travelers. Gas, potty and snacks all in one stop. Very clean well kept store with friendly and well informed employees. It was a pleasure to make a rest stop in such a nice facility.

The young lady was working at fuel pump station when I walked in the door was very nice and helpful and thats the reason why they got a fly stuff the place is clean bathroom is clean if I was that young lady who was helping me who Set It Off

Frequent customer here. Not the worst flying J out there, but theres poor management. Countless times their coffee has been nearly out and /or expired. Evening shift is usually better. Stop at your own discretion.

Easy to get to. Staff is friendly & helpful. Good food. Rows are a little crowded for me. Entry needs a light.

My husband asked for a grilled chicken sandwich. Im sorry were out of grilled chicken. And it is a little pricey - $7.49 for a grilled cheese sandwich. We didnt stay.

We stopped here for fuel while traveling in our motorhome. We had dinner in the restaurant and a good nights rest in the RV parking area.

Nice people, PLENTY of parking, even late at night. Only bad thing was that they didnt have a plethora of warm food for breakfast. There were two sandwiches by the registers and I got one.

2 stars for the Huddle House, very bland chewy food. They have a similar menu to dennys with similar prices but only about 1/3 of the taste. Not horrible if its your only option, but definitely try to avoid this place if youre looking for good food.

Pretty decent place kinda out in the middle of nowhere but aint nodoby disrespectful. Just a good place to rest your weary self and meet a few good people in the process.

Clean, stocked, air conditioned haven of a pit stop when crossing Kansas. Friendly staff offer a wide variety of products and services.

Clean bathrooms. Hot water was hot. Coffee was hot and awesome tasting. Staff was beyond required politeness. Boiled eggs and fresh fruit were great.

We always use the Flying J when traveling. Has all the items you might have forgot to pack for your trip. I always have to grab a bag of Boston Baked Beans for my road trips any time I find them and Flying J always has them.

I will not stop here again until there is premium wifi.

Clean with friendly staff. Subway restaurant alongside. All the goodies you would expect from a good truck stop. Very popular with OTR haulers coming from the panhandles of OK and TX northbound, and Visa versa. Good ok Flying J!

One of my regular stops, unfortunately it seems like its going down hill. Now theres always parking available pretty much any day anytime, the selection inside used to be great, but lately it seems their coolers are lacking, looks like theyve been raided. When I said something to a cashier about it and how he was doing a great job of running the whole thing both registers, food service and everything by himself ( about 830 pm sun). His response was that the vendors werent bringing in the orders, something about a reset. The food at the restaurant used to be great, but has gone downhill big time now. The waitresses are awesome! theyre on their job theyre very attentive, maybe if they didnt have to take food back to the cooks to have the order fixed or corrected for whatever reason(s) maybe they wouldnt have so much on their hands, but they did handle it well. But I wont eat there anymore after my last experience, 3/25 ordered basic breakfast and it couldnt have been more butchered the chicken-fried steak was horrible besides that still one of my regular stops whenever I have to reset, I just wish the restaurant were better and they had more selection of something to drink. Otherwise the staff is the only reason I still go back instead of one of the bigger guys up the road.

They are very short staffed during my week end stay. Cooler shelves not being restocked. Many toilets stalls were without to. 2 out of service. Huddle House restaurant screwed up my food order. Only bright side was a Harley dealer right beside truck stop.

Nicest employees Ive ever seen at a pilot 05/30 but they didnt have much to-go food out, no pizza, wings looked 4+ hours old, two hotdogs on the rollers. Gives me an eerie deliverance vibe but hey, they were pleasent to talk to

My visit was around 7am. It wasnt busy, everything was clean and tidy. Checkout was pretty quick as well.

There was only one waitress that paid me any attention. I sat at the counter after someone else left, and this skinny little waitress cleaned the counter right up to me and stop and didnt even remove the trash left by the previous guest...wow, nah I will not stop there again.

To THE CORPRATE GM Your manager Jeff is working to day has came out and told my self and my husband that we have to leave for no reason at all we buy things. We pay for the showers. Hes has not told the home bums to leave. He just rude. He is targeting travelers that dont do anything wrong. He let the local home bums panhandle here on the property. But people that pays for things are not ok to sit here. I am wondering whats really going on here.
