Was given incorrect information regarding new phone purchase and trade in. Yes, people make mistakes and I can understand that. However, no one even tried to make things right or even apologized for the error. Nor even asked the manager to step in. It was what is was and I could take it or leave it. Been a Verizon customer for well over 20 years. Customer service is what sets companies apart and that certainly applies here, or the lack of it!

All I wanted to do was talk to someone at the store. I called the number and it took me to an automated service. I tried every option and couldnt get through. When I finally got through to someone on my last call, it was someone from the call center located who knows where. They couldnt connect me our offer any help to contacting someone at the specific store. All I wanted to do was talk to done at the Saginaw - Bay Rd store.

I have to say I am VERY disappointed in this location. My husband and I have apple phones for years now. However, with the new Samsung phone launching, we were very excited to head into the store to play with it in person, and to possibly make “the switch!”When we got there we were very awkwardly and quietly “greeted” and stopped halfway in the doorway to be questioned about our accounts, almost as if we had done something wrong and we weren’t allowed in the store.While my husband worked out the details I asked if I could take a look at the new phones, since covid is going on and new rules are in place. After I asked he looked at us rather rudely and reluctantly said “yeah I guess, they are all out around the store” which made me feel very unwelcome and almost as if I was burdening his day!The customer service is just not where it should be considering I am coming into your store to drop a couple grand on two new phones. Please reconsider who you have greeting your guests.

I dont normally leave reviews, but this was some of the worst customer support Ive ever had. I came in with an issue (broken Google pixel 3XL) and got rejected service since I had a temporary ID. Went to the Verizon store on Gratiot road and they were pleased to take my $750 for this new Samsung that Im typing this out on.

The first day I was there, the sales person was very friendly and helpful with finding me the perfect phone. It was ordered, but the day of pick up was a mess. Transfer of information was wrong, have wrong name listed as owner of my phone, said they cant fix it, but they did transfer my contacts and most apps, which Im happy for.

Everyone, and I mean everyone in this store is pleasant then knock themselves out trying to help us they took care of every aspect of my husbands and my purchase and pleasantly Matt with our sales person and if I had to give him a percentage rating I would give him 200% he is that great to go work with.

Went in to upgrade my phone and received the worst customer service. The associate helping me was extremely rude, telling me that transferring data from my old phone to my new phone could not be done in store because “it would take up too much of his time”. After leaving the store and following his instructions to transfer my data (which were incorrect) and three different phone calls with the Verizon Tech Support, I was finally able to transfer the data to my new phone five hours later. Verizon used to provide good customer service in the stores, but now the company only cares about the sales, getting their commission, and pushing their customers out the door. Very disappointing.

June 3rd I switched over from Boost to VERIZON 🥳I wanted to thank MATTHEW for all the help he gave me and my mother on our visit. He was truly an amazing help I got my IPhone XS Max and we also got 2 IPads, 3 IPad cases and 2 iPhone cases and with his help we saved over $400.00!!!! And even got money back from what we saved!! He even gave us the idea to switch the plans all just to save us money! I told him “ you are such an amazing sales man” and he replied “Hey I’m just saving you guys money”! That shows you what great customer service is just doing it to save the customer money and we love that so THANK YOU AGAIN MATTHEW! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!🥳🥳😁

Slow to help you but once they do, they focus all their attention on you ignoring those waiting so they can maximize the sale with you. Few of the sales people are friendly and helpful. Most just want to take you for a ride since they work on commission. The store is always really loud inside. Was told that they need my social security number. I asked why. I couldnt get a straight answer from the guy and was told, dont worry, it wont show up on your credit report or anything. Guess what...it did. Dont even think about calling the store. You will NEVER get anyone to answer. All in all, average service for a commission based job I guess.

Back in December, I went in to the store because my year old iPhone had malfunctioned and I needed to switch my number to a back-up phone. When I explained what had happened and asked to switch my number to the old Samsung phone, the associate told me that I could use one of my family members upgrades that was available to get a new phone. I asked 3 times if that would change our bill and was told each time that our bill would stay the same and that I would NOT have to pay off the remainder on the current iPhone because it had malfunctioned - in front of several witnesses.The next month, we discovered that the monthly fee from my old phone had been transferred to another family members free phone. I tried to call Verizon Customer Service several times and kept getting passed around, being told that the company policy would not have told me that. When I made it clear that I had witnesses to back up my claim, I was passed to the store manager at the Bay Rd store.Needless to say, his employee that I had dealt with lied and said that he told me about the extra fees, when that was not the case. I would have never upgraded to a new phone (brought an old phone in to the store that day) had this employee told the truth.The store manager was incredibly rude and tried to blame me for misunderstanding what the sales person had said.I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and outright lies that this store tries to pull off instead of admitting to a simple mistake.Would NOT recommend dealing with them!

Verizon has good products, but these customer service people at this location are slow. My wife wanted to buy just a phone case for her iphone 4 and they said the wait was at least a hour. I believe their protocol is first come first serve on their waiting list, which I have no problem with. The issue is if your just their for little accessory you also have to wait the entire list which I am not a fan of. Some of the guys their are just their to make a sale. Overall they are pretty nice and their quality of their products is also good. It seems as if it all depends on the individual person for customer service quality.

Every single time no maymat what you go in there for. Ive had better service over the phone with customer service. Went to upgrade my phone and after being told I would be “next”, I waited an hour to watch others, who arrived after me, being helped because my name somehow got pushed back. The associate that was assisting me was not very helpful and had no interest in helping me get my phone set up in store. She kept insisting that I go home and do it myself. Every question I had was answered with an, “Oh you can do that at home yourself.” After realizing we were getting no where, I just left. No upgrade. It never used to be this way. Very disappointed.

No one acknowledged my presence when I came in. I was there checking out phones for about 20mins and no one ever asked if I needed assistance or even came my way. As I walked towards the door to leave, which is pretty close to the cutomer service desk, a few of the workers just looked at me. Didnt say a word. FYI, the store was not busy, maybe one other person present. The customer service sucks.

We were sold a service and device that wasnt what we were promised. Called customer service and was told to go into the local branch to return the device and they deactivated and waived all fees. When I went into the store thw manger at the Bay road (Saginaw, mi ) store was very rude and defensive from the beginning of the conversation. Even called me a liar that customer service told me to bring the device back after the 14 day period. He wouldnt look at the transcripts from customer service or assist in any resolution of the issue. He even told me it does not matter what the 800 numbers says,they arent always trained or tell the truth but policy is policy sorry about your luck. Thats horrible customer service if you ask me. Our contract is up in a month and after having a Verizon line for 18 years we will be switching. Love the phone service but customer service is a joke the past few years.

I used to love Verizon, but I no longer deal with them. I had a family plan that was a perfect fit. I had this plan for many years. They promoted that you could try their Jetpack internet and return it within days if you didnt like it. The salesperson in this Saginaw Verizon store guaranteed it was supposed to be a risk-free trial. Anyhow, returned it within a few days and found out there was a hidden restocking fee. This thing was slow and disconnected often, so I was just happy to be done with it. This wasnt cool, but it was fine knowing that it was explicitly promised again by Verizon that they would return my plan back to normal. Well, during the next billing cycle, I noticed the cost was significantly higher, but I thought it must be more bs fees. The next billing cycle I had seen the bill was still $40 too high! I found out that they never reverted the plan back. I went to the Bay City location at a later date and an AJ promised me that he fixed it. It still was not fixed. I got online support with Verizon and they removed most of the excess charges, but they said my family plan was no longer available, but they found one that was similar for another $10 a month, but that it would get more expensive when the promotion ended. Well, my entire family is no longer with Verizon. Their greed cost them the business from my family for what could be a lifetime. Was it worth it, Verizon?

Horrible customer service. Went it and signed up for the edge program, was told that I was approved for the program and that it would take until the end of November to receive the phone. Called Verizons customer service number last night and was told that my order had been cancelled due to not being eligible for the program and that I would not be receiving the phone. Was told on the phone that the employee basically signed me up for the program under false information and that I was basically used to get commission. I would have appreciated a phone call to let me know that my order was no longer in place so that I would not have been waiting for the last month for a phone. Again, terrible customer service. Will never go back to that location.
