Its awesome place since I shopped at dollar general the good deals, clean,polite employees, school items and plenty of childrens clothing. I cant say enough good things about my dollar general. When I walk in just for one or two items and walk out with a long purchase receipt my hubby is the one who has to carry it home 🏡🤗. Thanks to you my new store and good bye wal mart.

4 stars for the store only because they were out of alot of things advertised but when I asked Cassie the cashier if they carried Tajin and where i could find it that girl was gone and back before i could blink with the product I searched forever for and couldnt find. Exceptional customer service you just dont see these days and then asked if I needed help out to my car. What ? !YOU ROCK Cassie !☆☆☆☆☆ for you !

Great location and as always if youre a bargain shopper dollar general is the store to go to

Very disappointing on one hand and electric on the other. They had Brown mustard for only .95 cents which was what I was there for last minute. The disappointment came when they chose to prematurely post 50% off signs on Chirstmas items. When I was checking out I learned that they were full price unless I wanted to come back in Monday and purchase them. Buyer Beware: Dont expect them to Honor their posted prices!

Sacramento Area is known for people stealing, but a lot of the aisles are blocked. They need to stock the shelves more. Everytime we go they do not have the shelves stocked. The manager should ramp up his store, if youd like for it to change.Stock the store with needed items and stop blocking the aisles.

Didnt want to stop at supermarket, had to get bread & cheese...found good bread & cheese cheaper than grocery store & got in&out pretty quick!

Hillsdale is a little smaller compared to other locations. Lesser choices. Works good using manufacturer coupons. Provides good in-store discounts too. Got to be more organized. Must have rest rooms too that we can use.

I am pleased to see how clean and organized the store is. Also the sales attendant, Shauna who is always cheerful and greets with a beautiful smile and prompt to assist or check your items at the cashier.

Employees always helpful. Store is small but fully stocked. Folks that shop there are friendly.

Some of the stuff didnt seem to like there job to muchBut there was one colored lady that was VERY NICE & FRIENDLY I asked her some questions and she was more then happy to help me all the while she had a nice friendly SMILE dont remember her name but she would be the reason I got back thank you

I received my Thanksgiving presents by me like usual but at least I got out and yes it was busy lot lines are long but we did well so all is good happy Thursday 2020 November 26th 2020

The dollar General store in my area has really friendly customer service workers Ive been shopping there for three years now and not once have i had a bad experience so Im a real Dollar General shopper i find it a real convenience i rather shop at dollar general verses walmart.

Very good store with low prices they have a variety of different items some of which change on a regular basis some of which stay the same they have everything from some clothing type of items which are very limited to pet supplies to grocery items baking supply type of grocery toys some household cleaning supplies and household decor. The staff are usually quite friendly but they do get quite busy too so to maintain a positive attitude would be kind of difficult but I think that they do a good job with that. and Im not sure if its due to their low prices or what but they seem to have a theft issue with in the store, but it is a safe place to shop for the customers you are reminded several times that you are being monitored on closed-circuit tv (or video) but because im not a thief I feel safer having their private, for store use only, video watching.

Always great customer service. The employees are always working hard even though the customers just trash everything again as soon as its fixed. I feel sorry for them.

Customer service is good .one thing that every store has is opening one service line not dollar general .they right away open a second service line thats one the reason I like shopping there

Great ppl that work there it’s just that they always have 1 checker and the line gets to the back of the store sometimes and it seems like they know it’s rush hour and it always seems to be the newbie at the register.

They have good deals at this store. Some things are pricey but not everything.

I went to the Dollar General one time and bought a blow up pool, buy one at the regular price. Get another for half price. Im lovin it. Cept i didnt see anything fir a buck. Generally speaking. 😆

The store front is very dirty and unkept. I was there at night and I didnt feel all that comfortable walking into the store. The shelves are a mess. Items on the floor, that you could easily trip over. There was only one cashier and there were about 8 people standing in line. A couple of people came in, saw the line, turned around and left. If I didnt need to pickup a pair of rubber gloves, I wouldnt have stopped. I have been to this store once before and its the same old problems again.Sorry, its the truth!!

Clerk was very helpful in showing me what I went there to buy. I just wished that this particular Dollar General Store stayed open till 10:00 pm as well as some other Dollar General Stores in the Sacramento area.
