RUDE staff and the clothes are over priced...... I always find holes and rips in the clothes I buy for $15 or even $20....... not worth it I think this store is an over priced scam.

Wait almost 2 hours for them to quickly look at your clothes for 5 mins… so why is the wait so long? I don’t get it. They finally text me that they’re ready and as I’m going in I hear two girls complaining about the selling process and their outcome. So then, after the two hour wait they don’t want anything. They just tell you over and over which brands they want and don’t want. Even when your clothes are excellent quality.Don’t waste your time attempting to sell. I didn’t see one person walk away having sold a single item and did hear multiple complaints. They do have cute clothes who knows how they get it.Take away: shop here I guess, but don’t attempt to sell

Ok for purchasing items FROM them. I still cant figure out what these folks want when buying our items. Took in 3 bags of clothes and shoes. Didnt expect them to take everything but they didnt even want 2 pair of perfect condition Levis or a pair of Nine West black leather shoes. All average size; Happy hunting and selling.

They have the best name brands and their stuff is in Pristine condition Just like new. That the very vigorous system on buying clothes. Thats whey are priced the way they are because they are one of a kind and are just like new.

This store is my go to for secondhand clothes. They buy such cute clothes and generally have things in my size, M/L which is nice because a lot of other thrift stores only have cute items for smaller sizes and basics for larger sizes. I found a ton of business casual shirts for work too. You cant try anything on but they are allowing returns up to 10 days after purchase with the tags still attached which is a nice alternative.

Went here for the first time and not a good experience. Brought in almost 20 items and some were brand new with tags, branded items too. Made me wait hours just for them to look through it literally 1-2 mins. Then called me up and said they can’t accept any because of brand and style and that they full capacity. Could of said they are full capacity before making me wait.

Worst trading place I have ever been to. They made me wait almost TWO hours only to go thru my clothes in like 20 minutes and buy nothing. Also, it was very obvious to me they didnt even look through a couple of the bags as they were in the exact same order I put the clothes in. The LEAST you can do is give me the courtesy of looking through everything I brought after making me wait for so long. Also, some of clothes I brought were brands they say they buy, such as urban outfitters, yet they bought nothing. If you are thinking of trading your clothes in here, dont. Huge waste of time.

I’ve gone to crossroads several times to sell clothes during different times of year, always following their “in style” trend suggestions for what they’re actively buying. I’ve brought clothes that are in great condition/brand new, much better honestly than most of what they have on their own shelves, and they’re never even made an offer on anything. I’ve tried five times and I will never be going back because they apparently would rather have over-washed and very well-worn rags than things that have value and kept in good shape

Recommend to shop, not sell. They have a sizable sale area and nice staff, but the guidelines on their website for what they’re supposedly buying are worthless. They are focused on one thing: brand. There’s a list of brands behind the SELL counter and that’s all the buyer talked about - no regard for color, size, etc. Doesn’t matter if you bring in “current trend” items if they’re not a name (usually designer) brand that they think sells well. At least it was over with in just a few minutes. They also scan your ID into their system without sharing any sort of privacy policy, etc. for how they’ll use or protect your data.

Do not bring your clothes in to sell. I used to sell clothes to them often but this last time due to the pandemic they take your clothes for a few days. When I returned to pick up my stuff they told me they bought 2 items when I returned home I noticed 6 other items missing. When I called they said if items go missing were not responsible. So essentially they stole items from me. I will never sell or shop here again.

Brought in some items to sell/trade. I KNEW they were picky..others warned me. I only brought name brand Coach purses, Coach black leather boots, Coach snow boots. All in GREAT shape, no damage, hardly worn. They didnt want any because they were old season. Offered me $12 for the $300 leather boots..that were worn once. Refused all other items. What?! So I took all my items and went downtown to a (real)consignment shop and was pleased with the outcome there. Do not recommend for selling or trading for credit. Theyll jip ya.

Located in an older neighborhood strip mall on Arden Way next to Post Office. Parking with handicapped spaces is sufficient. Essentially a business that buys and sells used apparel. Overall a pleasant experience.NOTE: I provided transportation for a friend. I neither sold nor bought anything.

Came here to buy and attempt to sell. None of my clothes were accepted. Not quite 5 stars because I feel like the people who analyze the clothing you want to sell/trade arent very consistent. I saw clothes for sale on their racks that made me think that if I had better luck with who was looking at my clothes I couldve sold them. Regardless, they have a good selection of clothes, and while I ended up leaving with all the stuff I brought I also left with two new tops for work, so Im happy.

Its okay i guess? most of the workers are nice, ive gotten some genuine compliments that make me feel really happy :)i do have a couple problems. i brought in about three bags of *in season* clothes (i.e brandy melville, asos, urban outfitters, etc.), and they only took three items. everything was in perfect condition, and they listed they were taking those brands on the board.the items that they took were fairly expensive, but the workers only gave me 15$ max for each item. its not the workers fault, i understand the store has a protocol, but i wish they would look it over again.when they buy your items, they knock the price up by 40-70%. i saw one of my shirts listed for 30$, when they bought it for about 13$. i felt ripped off.they only play country music in the store, and it pains me to go back in store because of this. its manageable for 15 minutes, but after that it gets really annoying.the workers around the store are judging you, and it hurts. someone called me fat and wouldnt let me try on a dress. yikes :/

They need to stop worrying about the brand and start worrying about what the clothes look like. I can care less who makes my clothes, but I do care what my clothes look like. They absolutely do **not** buy mens clothing no matter what their ads claim. Among the things I brought in were a brand new pair of jeans with the tags still on them & did not want them! Did not see a single mens garment in the entire store! Guess that explains why they did not want any of the clothes I took in to sell!Edit, in response to the owner: the problem is that you are false advertising buying mens clothing. You do not, and you do not sell mens clothing either.

I wish I read the reviews before wasting my time here. I waited about an hour to have them look at my clothes. While I was waiting I looked around the store and saw hardly anything Id buy. Finally she looked at my two bags full of clothes and only took 4 items. One of the things she said she was looking for was plaid, yet she took none of my plaid long sleeve shirts. While I was waiting i took a look at their clothes for sale everything is extremely overpriced and not in style at all. Im very shocked that they are able to remain in business. They have a good selection of items if you are looking for cute inexpensive hipster clothes however the inconsistency at which people will take items is pretty lame. I used to be able to sell clothes here but I havent the last two times and I have had even nicer clothes to offer both times. The best CS was when trying on clothes. Hands down.Part of the experience of being able to sell clothes is to be able to find stuff to buy while you wait but when they dont take anything you dont want to either. I know that exchanging clothes for cash is always a risk. People will take advantage of such exchanges by going to EcoThrift or Goodwill Outlets and pay pennies for brand-name clothes they do not wear; then bring them into Crossroads for re-sale. However, to customers such as myself, that have good jobs and enjoy playing dress-up, I am sad to say that Crossroads is no longer my go-to spot for cute, reasonable clothes, or for trading clothes. That being said, I rather keep the quality clothing I own than get $17 back for 4-5 funky, fun, on-trend, brand name items. They are defeating their own purpose. In addition, the selection of items sold on the floor is not in good shape. If youre looking for quality dressy/casual workwear at a fraction of the price, go to the Goodwill store in Elk Grove, EcoThrift on Florin, and Salvation Army spots in Roseville. If youre looking to get cash back for clothing you paid for, wore once, or decided you didnt want to keep it but have no receipt to return the item, try selling online or through apps. If you bundle your clothing by size and set one price (like $20 for 3 pairs of quality size 11 jeans) youre more likely to get cash through serious buyers. It sucks but I think the scumbags ruined it for honest consumers. My hope is that Crossroads grows into a more honest business and hires people with a tad bit more....tact.
