It feels like a great spot to settle on and visit. Order bottles of wine and choose your cheese plate at the wine bar as you enter cocktails on the upper level and food at the back of the outside courtyard. If you are looking for great wine and chill place outside, then this is the right place for you!

We come here so often I don’t understand why we don’t have our own club jackets. Jk. But really. I think I’ve work our specific path in this store on the cement floors. Good staff. Pretty helpful always. They’ve only run of ice once.

Ordered 6 bottles of wine online. Went to the store, parked in the spot I was told to park in, checked in on their app and waited...and waited...and waited. 20 minutes go by and nothing, so I call and get put on hold...then the employee tells me their system is down and so they ...what?...they couldnt tell that a customer had checked in and was waiting?

I mean yeah, love the 5 cent sale thing, but dont hesitate to hit the staff up for help or suggestions. They are reliably friendly and knowledgeable and have helped me discover some nice finds!They also have a nice selection of snack foods and a great assortment of barware that Ive purchased for gifts.

Not crowded. Off-street free Midtown parking. Helpful staff. Probably can save some $ if you have that other big box liquor store nearby. They *do* stock cheap vermouth, which happens to be useful for me.

Great selection of alcohol available and friendly staff. Prices are decent but not exceptionally cheap. May be cheaper than safeway or another major grocery store. I found all the liquor and some beer products I was looking for at different sized bottles.

Had a much more diverse selection of NA beer and wine than other stores I could have ordered from. I ordered online, picked up in the store, and got home to find one of my products was alcoholic. I called to explain, and the manager located the NA beer I had wanted (our own Golden Road has an NA version of their mango wheat!), left at once to drive it to my house to exchange it. Even though my MAJOR concern was not wanting to get back in the car and go back into midtown, I cannot express how much I SO APPRECIATE them taking this mix-up seriously. When i was a kid i got this place confused with petco really often. i dont drink so i couldnt tell you what this place is nice but the name rolls off the tongue well enough so 5 stars

The employees knows the alcohol products, and offered their experiences and which alcohol liquids is uniquely interesting and commonly popular.

This location has some awful employees who know little to nothing about customer service. You should be able to converse and not respond with attitude when asked a question. I will be purchasing all my products from another source. There has been rude employees in the past, but this one draws the line.Management should hire new staff. There are many willing and grateful people that can use a job during this time that would be more fitting. This is unacceptable. In addition, he was not wearing his face mask correct or safe.

Their selection is top notch but I found them to be too expensive. I could purchase the items that I drink for $2 less than what they are charging but good selection and great customer service

They have everything and the prices are competitive. Excellent selection of soda pop on the back wall. I recommend Frosty, Leninade, Faygo and the cream sodas.Teeny tiny bottles are great for gifts and stocking stuffers! This store also carries chocolates, mixers, juice and gift items.

We placed an order online and was told it would be delivered tonight well before they closed. I called 30 minutes before and I was told it couldn’t happen. Poor customer service!

Stocked up on wines an spirits for my birthday party. Champagne an wine selection was good. Staff was knowledgeable an able to recommend potential wines for guest who prefer sweeter wines verses a Chardonnay or Champagne. Price wise, just o.k. but the one stop shop was worth it. One of my preferred place to buy for special events. Napkins, plates, crackers, cheeses, an more available as well.

Nice and cool when I walk in. Friendly customer service . The variety is there though the item wasnt in-stock but is ordered. Good prices, easy access right on J Street, curbside parking, great selection. Dont be fooled when you first pull up. It may appear to be an abandoned building. They just have most of the store windows blanked out. Good shopping experience.

Being a downtown location they cant sell singles or the small bottles. Their selection is, of course, very good. But I able to get a better deal at the Safeway down the street.

I used to shop at another place and I started to go here out of convenience. They always match prices and I always get the best price. The sales staff are very nice. I highly recommend BevMo on J Street.

Ordered wine for a wedding. Simply went to the website and found what I wanted and will pick it up tomorrow. They also have lists of previous orders which comes in super handy when reordering. I cant imagine ordering drinks for a party any other way.

Place has some good deals on occasions but overall its a rather expensive place to have a one stop shop for booze. Decent beer and wine selection. Also has a fairly ample hard alcohol selection. Great sales on wine sometimes. Look for the 1 cent wine sales where you buy the wine, get another bottle for only a penny. Major drawback of this place is that if you buy a single bottle of beer you have to buy another, because of a City of Sacramento ordinance.Service is decent, but the employees dont know that much about booze, this place can be very busy sometimes (like Friday night) so dont expect to be helped immediately when you walk through the door. Lots of helpful people, an amazing selection of beer, wine and spirits. They have items from microbreweries and brand drinks, lots of choices for every kind of spirit. They carry Everclear, which is hard to find. Lots of times when I go in they have a sample lady showing off a new product. Great selection of not only alcohol but also all the accoutrements you could want. Shot glasses, beer steins, flasks. So many things. Always my go to place

Centrally located off of J Street, making it super easy to get a hold of your favorite beers, wines, and spirits. They also carry the essential drinking items such as an assortment of glasses, bottles, and everything else in between. If you need assistance, the staff on hand are very helpful and can make recommendations based on your preferences.

All the staff are extremely knowledgeable. They have a HUGE and diverse variety of wine, beers, and spirits. Its a great place to quickly stop by and get a bottle of wine for a dinner party or if your just looking to make some speciality mixed drinks. Either way, theyve got you covered!

Wow. RUDE customer service. I usually never have a problem here but today I was helped by an employee named Tasha. She had an attitude the whole time and clearly did not know how to talk to other people. I let her know that the experience was uncomfortable because of the way she was speaking to me and she didnt care of course. Too bad they lost a customer over such poor service.

Watch the J st entrance/driveway curb its brutal and will bend your rim and flatten your tire like an explosion went off. 😡 There are hub cap pieces all around it too, so I wasnt the first one to experience this problem, but the store and service its self is awesome!

I feel like the workers are eager to help and may have thought I was taking too much time looking at everything they have to offer. Maybe they were bored. Theres so many beverage choices I could not decide and ended up getting a classic. Prices are average cost.

Those interested in alcohol and related products this place has it. Good prices, knowledgeable staff.

Its sad that the store replaced such a good record store but the location is a good one.One thing to note is that the online inventory on their website has not been accurate for me. Ive looked online on multiple occasions to make sure something was in stock only to get there and have them say nope, we dont have that.

Good Bevmo.One of the guys there in particular is very knowledgeable about his liqueur and helped me find Kirschwasser when other places have had no idea what it was or tried to sell me sugary Cherry liqueur instead.Awesome!

Its nice to have a BevMo in midtown, but I feel like their beer selection isnt that great. Their European beers are so overpriced, they sit on the shelf until they are so old, they lose their crisp flavor. But, they are have a good selection of liquors, so they are hard to beat for that.

I just love any bevmo. Downtown the law does not let them sell only 1 beer, a shame. They were very helpful.
