Abraham was the sales person that helped me in the store. He was very knowledgeable on what type of sectionals they had and where they were located in the store. No sales pitch or pressure!I purchased a sectional. It was delivered as promised and on time. I am super pleased with the quality of the sectional! Highly recommend AFG!
This is one of my Favorite furniture stores, they have wonderful customer service and the stores are well put together. I love the different layout of the all the furniture it helps me with great arrangement / decor ideas. The location I really love is on Auburn near Watt. I bought a bedroom set from here and it has literally fallen apart. They have been out several times to repair it and now they say they wont cover it under warranty. I even asked if I could pay the labor and the manager told me no go to home depot and buy 2×4s and repair it myself. Seriously after I spent over 3 thousand dollars DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
They sell the cheapest made furniture at very high prices. Purchased a bedroom set that broke into pieces almost immediately. When they sent out the repair men they even told me that they get so many complaints. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Good, sturdy furniture, but it is over priced and the delivery team concealed a scratch/chip in the wood of the bottom of one of my dining room chairs. Be sure to check all of the furniture when it is delivered and don’t let the delivery tech stand in the way rushing you to sign the release forms. Had turned my chair over, I would have noticed the wood was chipped.
This is by far the worst furniture store in Sacramento. I spent $2800 on a bed for my 12 year old, it has broken into pieces literally, they have come out to repair it 3 times in 6 months and now said the warranty has ran out and theres nothing they can do. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I went to American Furniture Galleria looking for a bed. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I was looking for a bed and was able to find a nice bed and they delivered it (it cost but I was happy someone was able to deliver it).

My 92 mother in law was going to move in with me so we bought a full size mattress and box springs and had it delivered. She never moved in but needed a queen mattress at her home. No returns was their policy which we didnt ask about. In a dilemma now at the store the manager, Paul overhead us and let us make a swap. He didnt have to do it but was so kind. Very impressive and they have great prices!

Wonderful service. I wish I could remember the name of the associate who helped me. She was kind and attentive without being pushy. I needed delivery quickly and she patiently took extra time to to arrange for them to accommodate. The furniture arrived as expected and was assembled and placed. I would have given 1 star, however to give credit where its due, this gallery has an amazing selection of decently priced goods. My wife and I have purchased many sets from this location, and the look & price is usually great! This is the reason for the 2nd star.Regarding product quality and service is another story. Of all the various sets weve purchased, the quality is pretty lacking, and the finishes on the wood arent very good quality. Our kitchen table is flaking away, and the table and chairs are not stable. It wobbles. The sectional couch we purchased in December was defective as well. The recliner stopped working, so I scheduled for a tech to come out to fix.3 weeks later they came out (they only work on certain days, and they are extremely booked), and determined, yes its defective. 🤦♂️...of course I already told them that. The tech did not fix it, he made some notes, and said well replace the recliner section. My thought was maybe they would have been prepared for that after verifying, and replaced on the spot. Instead he relayed the info to Customer Service, and they had to order it from the manufacturer. IMPORTANT: The Mfctr is overseas, and they dont have stock, they have to manufacture the piece to replaceToday is June 23rd, and due to a second delay in manufacturing, I wont get my part until Mid July.6 months, and I still havent gotten to fully enjoy the couch I paid $3k for.I wish that was it, but its not. Customer Service was polite regarding the situation, however clearly didnt seem to care. The underlying demeanor was, look sir, youre 1 of many that I talk to regarding the same scenario, what makes me special.I get it, it is what it is, and they cant do anything about it. I explained this prevents me from wanting to do business with them moving forward, but again, sorry sir, nothing we can do.Be sure to ask warranty and replacement questions before the purchase.
The salesperson neglected to tell us that the $900 mattress he was selling us could not be returned. We only had it for 2 days. We would have never bought a mattress here if they had the courtesy to tell us this was their policy on all mattresses beforehand. The manager just looked at me cross eyed and did lots of shrugging because the store has our money now, and we have a $900 rock slab to sleep on. I was told that the mattresses on the show room floor are old, used, and broken into, which is why they feel a lot softer. It is not my fault that this company is MISREPRESENTING WHAT IT IS SELLING TO US ON THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR. I then asked for corporates number, and she gave me 2 numbers to call that were out of service.. We shouldve gone somewhere else that cares a little more about their customers. If youre looking for mattresses, youre better off trying those online brands that let you try it for a certain amount of time to see if its even something you want to keep. What a horribly disappointing experience.

The sales person Shane was very kind and helpful. I would have given 5 stars if it werent for the delivery people. They showed up put the furniture together very sloppy. By that I mean that my tables are wobbly and have sharp edges that my clothes get caught up on and Ive even cut myself on them. My dresser is also wobbly and there are packing materials in the cracks of my bed frame. Very sad about all of this.

Very overpriced mattresses. The mattress i got from amazon for 250 was better than the mattress they sold me here. They didnt tell me all sales were final for mattresses/bedding. They gave me a brochure after the trnasaction was complete that spelled out no returns for mattresses. That was beyond shady. Look for mattresses elsewhere.
I took my mom to get herself a nice bed set and she got the bed set she wanted. And she chose a Serta mattress but when it came to delivery they brought a mattress from who knows what brand. Not a Sert obviously the delivery guys don’t know about the purchase but I’m trying to call the store to talk to them about that and now they don’t answer. What a rip-off. Now i will have to go out of my way to take the mattress back and get for what SHE payed for
Waited on the line for 10+ minutes 2x for a “sales professional”. I know exactly what I want to purchase but because of their backwards website and user interface, you cannot purchase online, nor can you see any pricing (an obvious attempt to get you to speak to a salesperson who will only try to upswell you). Not a great way of doing business at all.
I will never buy from here again!!!! I bought a new kitchen table 5 months ago and all the legs are broken, I been waiting for a month for them to come see the chair!!!
Not like the commercial stated. Same day delivery was not a option once you paid in full. Ok, they specifically stated the the furniture was in stock. I called a day before delivery and was told that only partial of the furniture can be delivered because part of it was damaged. I then proceeded to tell them that i would take the one from the show room floor. At first the sales man resisted the thought. But, then changed his mind. The kicker was that they could not have the dilivery truck to pick up from the store. I offered to go pick up from the store after work. They said ok.. only to get there and it was not ready. They did deliver the other furniture as scheduled. But, was not offered at least a partial refund for me having to go across town after work to pick up furniture. This was a week before Easter and had elderly family members over. Lesson learned. I will never buy from American Furniture again. This is my story and experience with them.

American Furniture Galleries has beautiful furniture. This is the 4th time Ive made a purchase from them. I appreciate their customer service. Their delivery very quick I purchased an adjustable lift recliner for my husband on Sunday and on Wednesday the recliner was in my family room. The delivery man explained how to operate the chair. Also American Furniture beat prices on similar types of recliners at other furniture stores.

They delivered damage bed, first they did not want change it. When i spoke with their manager, He said they will change it. It has been more than a month they still did not change it yet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE. They make different stories after they deliver damage furniture.

I have purchased furniture from American furniture going back to 2001. I usually have descent luck with their furniture. I however recently purchased a set....spent under 2k...and both couch and loveseat are splitting at the seams just under two months of owning them. Not so happy at the moment.

Worst customer service ever at the 2336 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95821 location. The store manager Jay extremely rude and unprofessional. He yelled at me because I wanted to cancel my order after getting it rescheduled 3 times and waiting over 6 weeks now. I was being super nice and he was just crazy, rude and very arrogant. Theres obviously way too many complaints about him. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so horrible by anyone before. Dont go in and buy anything from them its not worth it. Jason you should take customer service training classes. And you should also be fired ASAP! Ive boughten so much from them and Im just so disappointed. I’m really in disbelief by the way I was treated by him. He should not work in customer service.
A couple days ago I went to American Furniture Galleries and was very pleased with my experience. I ended up buying a couple items that were on clearance. The items were of excellent quality and I plan to return for additional purchases. The salesperson Angel delivered above and beyond customer service; he was extremely courteous, helpful and patient. I recommend him for all your transactions. In addition, everyone at the store is nice. Great experience from the time I walked in and left.

The employees didn’t say one word to me because I wasn’t buying anything or they thought I wouldn’t buy anything. Maybe if they’re customer service was better then I would have. I passed right by an employee and they just smiled as I was leaving didn’t offer help or tell me to have a good day.

American Furniture Galleries in Sacramento was perfect for us. One stop shop for our complete bedroom set. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the furniture is excellent. We paid for delivery and setup and they had everything together in 30 minutes. I would recommend to everyone that is looking for furniture to come here first! You will save time and money.
I bought a reclining couch at this place and I just love it. The associate, Van, was very knowledgeable and I found what I wanted quickly. Plus I got a 30% discount! I had to pay extra for delivery and setup but that was okay. I only wish they could have a service to dispose of my old one since I paid $99 for the delivery and setup. Thats the only reason I didnt give them 5 stars.

Very friendly staff and helpful, Nathan was very knowledgeable and helped us look through the different options, even taking the time to look at photos of our house so that we could match the furniture to it. Not only did he break down the many different options our couch could do but also broke down all the pricing and financing options. At no point did he act like a salesman but as a family friend helping us find what we were looking for. Look forward to doing more business with American furniture galleries.

My Wife and I go and look for furniture for our new home. We come across a sectional couch, a Kitchen/dining table and a whole bedroom set. Bedframe dresser etc. We were told that the everything will arrive in two weeks. Two weeks go by we get our Table our couch. But no bedroom set. We call asked why our bedroom set hasnt arrived. American Furniture gallery. Says due to covid19 this item is in backorder. Because the store might close. So new estimate of bedroom set arrival will be August. But we can come down and look for another bedroom set. Thats in our store. And will be delivered in 2 weeks. We go down again look and couldnt find a bedroomset in our budget we have left over from our credit. So than we decided to just wait the full month. Then a bill comes due in middle of August no big deal. August arrives we let a week and some days go by. We call and asked if our bedroom set will be arriving anytime soon. We get told that now it will be estimated in September now. So i called the loan lender to ask about the bill of something we dont have. They let us know that they dont know what items are delivered or bought all they get is a bill from the vendor. For me to call the Vendor and get our amount adjusted to only oay for the items we have in possession. So i did call American Furniture gallery and asked if i can speak to a manager and asked if we can get our bill adjusted so we arw paying for our items we have in possession and when we get our bedroom set than adjust it back. I get a response saying we dont do adjustment you pay in full even if you dont receive the full items...i was confused and stated how does that make sense. Im paying for something that i dont have and dont know when Ill receive our bedroom set. I get a response stating it shows that it is estimated in September. Im like please spare me the Bs. Its a estimate not an actual date. It was estimated in Aug now that was pushed to September you cant tell me for certain if Im receiving it in September. Now my options are to cancel the order for them to adjust the billing. Which i was told they cant adjust it...but will adjust it if we cancel...
This place has rude guys like Jay, I got furniture two times from them. In second time Jay was the salesman who sold furniture for me.He was very rude, I asked him about the price, he replied me that is my shoes price. Also he is very arrogant I tried to call him two times he didn’t answered.

The gallery is great! Very nice furniture. The biggest problem was the time we were promised our item was incorrect. So we called they said call the warehouse, so we called them, they said come pick it up on Saturday, we drive out there and it wasn’t there. So we had to wait an additional three days.

We bought two sofas from here. I liked their customer service but the only thing made me to give them two stars is that people who brought our sofas, after assembling they took the screws which were included with sofas. I didn’t know at that time otherwise I would ask them to leave those. We are moving soon and I don’t how to unscrew them.

I had called the store and they had told me they didn’t have the item I was looking for (a black leather ottoman.....but somehow Jason got my number (I’m guessing caller ID) and called me back within 10 minutes, and told me that they DID in fact have the item!!!! So, I went back and purchased it! While I was there Jason helped me find the perfect dining room set, which I also purchased! Definitely would shop here again, and I recommend! Be smart and ask for Jason!!!

I came in to American Furniture Gallery on Auburn Blvd unsure if I was going to make a purchase but Jason Ly approached me first thing as I entered the building, greeted me and stated if I need help with anything to let him know. I told him I was looking for a standard couch not more than 3 foot back height and not more than about 80 inches in length. He said I could probably find a couch of that size but most couches are between 85 to 95 inches in length. He helped me find the color I wanted and a couch that was just a smidge longer than what I wanted but Im extremely happy with my selection. Jason Ly was very personable, friendly and in a groovy sunshine mood which made my first time visit pleasant. Thank you Jason Ly for being you!
Bought a dresser and decided to pick it up at the warehouse because $129 delivery fee is outrageous. The guy man-handled our dresser to the point that when we unboxed it at home we found the side cracked so bad that the bottom two drawers didnt event fit anymore. Instead of waving the delivery fee and bringing us a new one while taking the broken one they said we can pay the fee and get it three days from now or we could drive the 30 minutes back to the warehouse and do it ourselves. Worst customer service EVER!! We will stick with RC Willey from now on. They only have $50 delivery fee and excellent customer service.
The showroom is not only massive, it also has a great selection of furniture for various styles. Our salesman, Nate, was very professional and knowledgeable. We brought our 3 kids with us and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There was a kid’s movie playing on one of the displays and that kept them busy while we wrapped up the paperwork. The store is beautiful, family friendly, and best of all, affordable!
We have an idea of what we want but havent been able to find it. We have talked with so many sales people. The guy at American furniture tried to tell us that all sofas are the same size! Not true! So we moved on. He was very nice though!
After having a nightmarish delivery experience with a major retailer I finally had to give it up and move on. Knowing my son and daughter-in-law had recently made an entire living room purchase, I asked for their opinion and sent me to AFG. I found the perfect sofa and chair, better than the previously cancelled set (that was a special order 2 month wait) and it was in stock! The selection was more than ample, store is huge. The staff acknowledged our presence right away but gave us breathing room and were incredibly helpful and pleasant. This store was so much more of a peaceful experience all around. Kudos to your staff and Alec in particular.
I love the variety, I love the prices and the financing options! Very easy, simple and quick.The only issue that Ive had was the delivery service. I had asked for our items to be delivered after 2pm, but they arrived exactly at 2pm without calling us (like what we were told) 30 minutes before, if they did we may have gotten the issue resolved that day. So I had to reschedule my Delivery to another day. On that day I was expecting the Delivery to be in the morning like I had asked, but the guys did not show up until after 12pm.Other than that Ive had a smooth process in the store.
Nice clean store. Friendly and not pushy salesmen. Prices seemed very reasonable. Quality seemed very good. The only problem we had was that you cannot special order anything. The inventory is - what it is.
My fiancé and I came in looking for a sectional and was helped out right away. I forgot the gentleman’s name but he was friendly and showed us exactly what we were looking for. Once we picked the couch we wanted he directed us to Matthew and Brandon who then gave us different payment options. They worked with us and now we will have a beautiful brand new couched delivered tomorrow.

No pressure...I do not buy from high pressured sales people. Delivery fast and on time..quick setup and courteous. The only little thing I have found is the recliners have very firm seats. I’m hoping they soften and settle with time, that is an issue with the furniture builder, not the store personnel......good job guys. Ive bought there before and will buy there again.
I bought a formal living room set and a spill got on the cushion I called the manager and she told me to use soap and water and it ruined my couch now she won’t take responsibility for what she advise me to do . I paid over 7000 and now my living room set is destroyed I’m not blaming her for everything but I trusted her judgement and now I’m screwed don’t buy formal living room sets from here the quality sucks and management is just out for money

Selection, staff, and pricing were all to my liking. My only concern is that when I asked if the credit inquiry being made was hard or soft, I was told it was a soft inquiry. I later learned that it was, in fact, a hard inquiry. This wouldnt have had any effect on my purchase, but from a customer service point of view, full disclosure is always the right choice. I will use them again.
The best furniture store in Sacramento no doubt. I was shopping around for living room furniture and I found the best value for your $$ here. The staff is very friendly, they know the industry very well and they can also give you some unique ideas. I have heard of other people complaining about their customer service but you cant please everybody, I was treated very well, found the furniture I was looking for and got new ideas for my bedroom furniture also. Great selection, great service, affordable prices, one of the best furniture store in the area.

My family and I went in this weekend to buy a few things for our new home. we were able to find everything we wanted and it was in stock, available for pick up. Perfect!we decided to ask for two quotes to get an idea on pricing but our customer service rep was going so fast( juggling customers) that he miss priced us for everything we wanted.We asked him 3 times to confirm the price for us before he took a call and he said yes. that is the price for everything you wanted. (we even listed all the things we wanted to confirm we were on the same page)after he told us yes for the third time, we decided to closed the sale, shook hands with the rep, and walked away.After walking to our car, we looked at the invoice and noticed the table we wanted was not listed.. so my mother-in-law went back inside to see what is going on and our sales rep confirmed that he caught the mistake as well and added it to the invoice.. he said there was no price increase and they will call the warehouse to confirm its good to release.NOT EVEN 10 MINUTES LATER, we get a phone call saying we didnt PAY for the TABLE and that we need to pay for it...WE LITERALLY JUST CONFIRMED WITH THIS GUY 5 TIMES TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS CORRECT... EVEN WALKED BACK INSIDE AND HE STILL TOLD US WE ARE OKAY.. BUT NOW WE APPARENTLY DIDNT PAY FOR SOMETHING.he blamed the fact that he was going to fast between us and a phone call...we ended up paying for his mistake just so we can get the items we wanted...once i got home, we found out the bed frame we ordered... was too small (again confirmed with the sales rep about the correct size ) and i have to take time off work to wait around for someone to come pick up the mistake and deliver the correct one...luckily, the delivery guys were sweet and put everything in my apartment for me. They were awesome and very helpful..but if you go into this location or the Roseville location.. please make sure to get a sales rep who wants to take the time and listen to you. if they are going to fast... ask for someone else. you will probably have this happen to you too or this is just the kind of scam they pull on their customers to get more money out of them.
