My girl got whatever she wanted there I guess. She said it sucked cuz everything was locked up and the employee had to keep going back and forth to show her products that were locked up. She couldnt see everything all at once to compare.

Not will lit dark and dismal a lot of stuff crammed into a small place but I guess you know what youre looking for it doesnt matter but for me having good lighting so you can see the products better makes the difference for me so Im just giving it two stars.

There are so many different wigs here! You’ll definitely find one for you. A heads up, they charge a dollar for a hairnet so bring your own!

Location is convenient but prices are too high. Debit and credit card fees are a turn off. All the pictures of thieves is distracting too.🤨

Got the wrong color clip in extensions and tried to exchange them the very next morning but I couldn’t even exchange them. I was going by the receipt which said “no refunds” it didn’t say anything about exchanges or getting store credit. They should be more clear on the receipt and not on the counter where customers can’t reference it after they are home. Be more clear! I just wasted money at this establishment. Probably won’t shop there again knowing this.

This is my new place for shopping for all my hair needs. I am a beauty & hair consultant and was so happy to finally see a beauty supply house in the neighborhood. It is neat and clean and very organized from what my first 3 visits have shown me. Not sure what happened with the person that left the negative feedback. I dont get that at all when I enter the establishment.

If i could give this store 0 Stars i would. My mother and I have purchased a lot of items from this store however shopping here is always rather an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. On more than one occasion when Ive come to shop here police were on the scene investigating shoplifting. Ive even witnessed them catching this Caucasian women in their store shoplifting couple of items and they never even called the police! in fact, I overheard the store owner whisper why are you stealing? You are so pretty to which then lady simply picked up her handbag and casually exited the store. I guess the only persons who are ugly and capable of stealing in her eyes are BLACK PEOPLE. Ironically, the greatest percentage of people that shop there are black folks. As a result of all the constant theft they have been receiving, the older Asian woman is hyper sensitive to anyone the walks through the door of her store, ESPECIALLY people of color for some reason. Shes constantly following descent, hardworking, paying customers around the store making shopping there a very difficult and uncomfortable experience. Due to these reason Ive decided to spend my money at a REPUTABLE, customer service oriented beauty establishment such as Sallys, ulta beauty, and cosmo pro and I urge other persons of color to do so as well .

A couple of the store employees were aloof towards me, the other clerk was friendly and helpful and tried to help me find what I was looking for. They have a good selection of EVERYTHING. I give 3 stars because of the 2 rude store associates and the 1 kind employee that stepped up and did her job.

Almost every time I have entered this establishment and the manager is present I end up leaving and spending my money on the other side of town. I dont know if its the fact that I have questions about products and he cant provide the answer or what. But because of the poor customer service I always end up leaving empty handed. Crown wigs on the other hand is great. The quality and variety of hair is better and they know how to treat their customers. Too bad theyre 20 minutes away from me .

I simply walked into James beauty supply to buy some hair products and a new lipstick (i was in a rush to meet with my boyfriend & this a nice quick & convenient place) however not even a minute passes by before I was accused of stealing!!! idk how that man came to that conclusion by me simply walking into the store! Ive never stolen a thing in my life, Im a young hard working educated woman and I didnt appreciate the rudeness and ignorance of that man! I would rather spend 100$ across the street than give 1 cent to support this business!!! Its a shame that James beauty supply is allowed to be open with such ignorance towards people!

James Beauty has great customer service. They are very knowledgeable about their products and they specialize in black hair care . This is one of the only hair supply store I know of in the Arden area besides Sallys. Just on a side note....they are much cheaper than Sallys too.

Cool selection but prices are too high for popular items

I had gone to this store a few times before to purchase hair and beauty supplies for myself andmy kids because it is closer to where I live than Joyces where I usually go. But,the last time I went,I was picking up some braiding hair and I looked up and saw one of the employees watching my every move. I felt hella insulted because I am not a thief and work hard for everything and have spent some good money there before. They will NEVER get my hard earned money again. I dont appreciate being profiled....

I had went here to get my daughter some hair and I loved the experience. I then went back to purchase my own hair at a later date and what I was looking for they did not have so I was sent to their other location on Mack Road. I purchased what was supposed to be wet & wavy jerry curl human hair!!! It was not!!! I paid about $150 for both packs of hair and after installation and wearing it straight for three days I noticed becoming matted so I wet the hair. While it was wet, it was very nice but as it dried, it became very dry and matted up even more!! I tried everything to get rid of the dryness and nothing worked. I went to a salon where I was informed that the hair that I had purchased was nit human!! I was livid so I went back to this hair store and nothing was done to fix my issue except being offered a percentage off that would only cover taxes!! I will never again go to this hair store in my life, no will I recommend anyone go here!!! its a waste of your money!!! I will continue to go to KINGS WIGS!!! James beauty supply is no good!!!! I was basicly robbed!!! I will continue to let everyone know how horrible this place!!

Honestly i wasnt going to say anything but it really bothered me.First off ive been here over 5 times, every time i experience rudeness and lack of supply.Their store doesnt have a wide variety like other stores, On top of that the workers attitude is so ugly.ON TOP OF BEING RUDE AND GIVING ME A RIPPED BAGG. SHE KEPT HUFFING AND PUFFING WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PURCHASE MY FEW ITEMS. SHE OVER CHARGED ME 22 DOLLARS . I CAME BACK AND ASKED HER A QUESTION AND SHE IGNORED ME . IM SO DISSATISFIED. I WANTED TO JUST GIVE EVERYTHING BACK BUT NO REFUNDS.
