Hoping curbside pick-up continues beyond the pandemic. For someone with limited mobility its a great option! Although in-person browsing is much more fun! The shared parking lot can get a bit crazy. Even before the pandemic shipping madness, their stock of individual Gelly Roll pens was lacking. But when theyre stocked... WooHoo!!! Great selection of Prismacolor pencils. Their 20% off coupons & sales make them competitively priced.

I was there just shopping for yarn. Im only rating that department. Nothing new. Same old tired looking yarn. What was on sale wasnt worth buying. Counters were a mess and yarn on the floor. I guess knitting and crocheting are not popular in Sacramento.

I went in for gold lobster claw clasps, which they were out of. They are possibly having issues with getting product in like a lot of other companies, but I was disappointed in the lack of beading supplies I was looking for. Also, if you have coupons, make sure you have them ready by the time you get to the register.

Clean, organized, and professional employees. They are also usually very helpful with helping their customers find deals, discounts, and coupons. They have even been helpful and creative with my holiday decorations, creations, gifts, my party stuff, a lot of our household or seasonal decorations and/or organization (storage space, shelves, decorating my kids room or our Living Room, and #diy, do it yourself projects. Just #fyi for your information I love to create my own things for my children, house, family, yard, friends, gifts, and things that make my life just a little more smooth or easier.... I do have 6 kids so we like to use our imaginations and create around our home. I also plan/decorate for parties, in which I make many of my own decorations, I love it! The only negative thing i could say or suggestion I would make to improve customers satisfaction would have to do with their prices. They are a little expensive. Which they do have some coupons or deals, but not many. Well at least for how much I spend there. Maybe offer more coupons. Even if its to loyal customers, or offer/make a rewards program, they can even partner with another company. Or add more to the selection so we, the customers feel like we both won, got our moneys worth, and we walk away happy, satisfied, prepared, and excited or motivated to return for more!

Its new to me so its great. I wish the prices were better, but that may be my own lack of shopping. That said, it smelled nice when went in. I measure the condition of a space on how nice it smells. Because the holidays are coming, I think the store is at its best. Theres so much to see and buy! 😁

Love the variety of paint, brushes, and canvas. The paint supply area is layed out by experience level. Very easy to find what you want. Large scrapbook area as well. Although Customer service can be a bit unhelpful a and rude at times. I still love this store.

I find the store right of pricey and not very well kept the staff really knows what they have on hand and a few times I actually asked a staff member for a Peter item and they told me it wasnt there and they you couldnt believe that the online you cant believe what the online of ad says only to go and find myself and bring it up and question why is Staff doesnt try to help or know their store at all. But I do love Michaels as a brand. And get a lot of my art supplies there They do run good deals

Limited selection, overpriced, poor customer service.

I went to 2 different locations. Birdcage didnt have what I wanted so I figured I would do a curb pick up tomorrow after work at the Arden location since I work in that area. Well I sat in my car for what seemed like forever trying to place an on-line order and the only option I was given was ship to me. To avoid risking the store running out of inventory I drove to the Arden area to make the purchase. Not how I wanted to spend my Sunday. I never have this problem when ordering curbside pickup from Joanns.

02/27/21: So far I havent left any bad reviews on google maps, but I guess today is the day! The store itself was an average experience. Found what I was looking for which was a classic photo album for 4×6 photos. Went to check out and the white woman cashier with black hair had such a nasty attitude with me for no reason. I asked her how she was today with a smile and she completely ignored me, asked her a coupon question that she tried to evade & didnt have the knowledge to answer, making it seem like I was making her do more work than she needed to be doing, and after paying with my card, she scoffed at me before telling me to Have a good dayyyy with negative emotion ... If your having a bad day, Im sorry, but dont take it out on me or anyone else for that matter! I hate the fact that Im even leaving a review like this because I dont like being that person but the interaction was really that awful. 1 star is being generous ...

They did not have what was looking for. Very pricey substitutions purchased.

Came in for some small needle-nose pliers & wire cutters for a craft project. The standard variety wire cutters at around $10.00 were sold out. They had a premium version for $25. No pliers to be found. Only one register open with a very long line.I gave up and drove over to harbor freight on Howe just to see if they had anything, found a pair of suitable wire clippers for $3.00, and needle nose pliers for $2.00...Im ultimately glad they had the discouraging long line at the register.

I love going to Michaels its my favorite craft store. I bought some fabric cutting scissors and WOW they cut like magic. My family goes there for yarn to make a bunch of things. I can say Ive been going there for a while for a variety of things!!!

I have owned this Andreas Gursky print since I was young and it is my most precious and cherished possession. For over a decade I have tried to get a proper frame for it, but have been unable to afford it. Its a large piece and a few inches outside of a standard size so it had to be a custom order.After calling several local framing companies and receiving invoices that felt like a go-away price... I went to Michaels.Even though I was told how much I would be price gouged and ripped off, I was blown away by the service I received. I cannot rave enough about their rockstar manager Hannah. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, took my custom order and really broke it down, went through all the options, worked in my budget, and gave me such a professional product. I almost cried when I saw the work she did!This print holds so much sentimental value and thanks to Hannah and the Michaels framing team, it will FINALLY be preserved the way it deserves. I definitely recommend their services.

I went for Halloween decorations and was not disappointed. However, I lowered the original score of 5/5 to 3/5 for customer service. The line was long and there was only one cashier working and no one was helping her.

I was on a mission,,,Ive been coloring pre printed canvas,,,I got my first 2 at 5 and below,,,went to Michaels for more,,,found a couple,,,not as good as the others,,,

I gave it 3 stars because I actually love the store. However standing in line with about 25 other people and only 1 cashier was really a bummer. I wondered where management was and why they would even allow this to be OK when there were several people on the floor and walking around and doing things I felt badd for the cashier so I was very patient but everyone was pretty disappointed
