Dear Rich and Kristen,I just wanted to let you know much we will treasure this experience of having Matteo’s senior pictures taken at Barnes Portrait Design. Not only did we LOVE picking out the pictures today but the entire process from start to finish was a memorable one!   Having a son that is not a big fan of having his picture taken walking away with a big smile is a huge accomplishment and testament to how Rich interacts with people.  We laughed the whole way home retelling the stories that Rich so vividly told when photographing him.  The attention to details and capturing Matteo’s love of film was so well portrayed in our viewing today!  We are looking forward to when our daughters are seniors to return to the studio. Kristen & Rich Barnes have been in the photography industry for a long time. Their experience paired with their natural talent can’t be beat! I see lots of pictures people get done from family or friends that do it as a hobby, and I have to be honest they never even come close to the quality and creativity you get from Barnes portrait designs. My husband and I have been their customers for more than two decades now. We currently have two small children and have photos done at least twice a year with them and it is always worth the money! Plus no one ever says “geez I wish I hadn’t spent money on photos of our family.” Kristen and Rich make a wonderful pair and are always able to get genuine smiles from our girls with Rich’s funny faces and Kristen’s puppets. Rich and Kristin photographed our family on Cape Cod, our destination choice. It was such a fun and relaxing photo shoot. Rich made everyone feel so comfortable, especially our teenagers. The portrait came out beautiful. There were so many great, creative and natural shots that it was incredibly hard to choose just one.Next, we hired Rich and Kristin to photograph our senior dog, Autumn our Saint Bernard. Saint Bernards are known to be stubborn, but Rich got the most amazing shots of her in our yard in different locations. He worked his magic and we are forever grateful that he captured a photo of exactly who she was. The portrait is stunning and hangs in our living room as a constant reminder of the love we had for her and she had for us.Lastly, Rich and Kristin shot my daughters Senior pictures. She is our first child so the day was a bit emotional for me, but I hid it well. It was such a beautiful memorable day. My daughter had so much fun. Rich kept us laughing the entire time. He took her to different locations and used the most creative backdrops. We saw some sneak peaks that look amazing and we can’t wait to see the final product. I know we are going to have a difficult time deciding which one to choose because I know they will all be stunning.I can’t say enough about Rich and his ability to capture the most beautiful photos while making the experience fun and relaxing. Rich and Kristen are absolutely AWESOME! We (my family) having been using Barnes for years, whether it was children pictures or family portraits. Not only are the pictures amazing, they also do great framing.They are always professional and upbeat; they are always wanting to make sure that you receive a great experience. I cannot say enough about our all around experience. Our son had his Senior picture session with Rich in July. Rich and his helper for the day, Sydney, made the session a blast and it had to have been one of the hottest days of the summer and we still had a blast!! Kristen did the viewing of the pictures a couple weeks later with us and was super helpful, patient and very kind. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing Tim and who he is, I am still amazed. You guys are amazing, we cannot thank you enough for EVERYTHING!

I cannot day enough about how wonderful Rich, Kristen and Sydney were. My daughter had her senior portraits taken in June and they took so many beautiful photos with truly unique locations. They didn’t rush the photo shoot. Rich ensured that the shot would give different angles and poses. I’ve been working with Rich and Kristen for ten years during which time they’ve captured many beautiful images for myself and my family. It all started with my senior portraits which later led to senior portraits for my two younger sisters, family portraits, pet pictures, and most recently my engagement and wedding photos! I dont think I would ever go anywhere else after the photos I had taken at Barnes! My professional photos for my real estate agent business cards came out phenomenal. I cant wait for them to do my family photos in Spring. They put you at ease, make taking the photos a comfortable, enjoyable, process ...throw in some laughs and the end result is gorgeous.

Barnes Portrait Design’s is Amazing! I never know quite how they do it but they always get perfect pictures! My 18 month old can barely sit still; never mind smile at the right time. However, Rich and Kristen always get “the perfect picture”! I can’t recommend them enough!
