This place is hard to miss if you are in Ruidoso. It has huge wooden aliens and bears visible from the road. My mother in law was in the hunt for an addition to her wooden bear. They had some amazing wooden work not just bears or aliens. They also had some nice things for under 30 dollars. I was able to get a virgen de Guadalupe for my grandmother for twenty dollars. Make sure you take cash since you get a 10% discount for paying cash.

Had there art fall on my car they have no insurance and will not pay for the damages

Okay, my bad. This is NOT a toy store as I previously wrote. It IS a great store for wood carvings and pottery plus other decor. Walked through while in town for a motorcycle rally. Went back the following week with my truck and bought three pots and some yard art. There is a great little book/toy store on Suddereth though. What a great toy store. Games and toys for all ages. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Even in midlife I can spend hours browsing and playing. A must see when Im in Ruidoso.
