I called several time and no answer so I decided to setup an online reservation. After getting off of work, i drove up to the location and there was no one there and the garage doors closed. It could be due to the weather, but a notice would have been nice so i could get to another shop to check my brakes. It was disappointing because I have never had an issue with just brakes until now
Run! Do not take your vehicle here! They will price gouge you for things you do not need and treat you like dirt!I had my front brakes replaced a few months ago here and had to take my Jeep back in because the front passenger side brakes were already worn down. First off, Dave (or David) that works the front is a jerk who thinks he is better than everyone. He was an A-Hole towards my son and I the moment we got there. He then tried telling me that I needed over $500 worth of parts and labor just for the front. After he lowered my Jeep, he had it driven to the side of the building and didnt even tell me it was ready. I asked him if I could take it and he just sat there at his desk sucking his teeth. He wouldnt answer me. I ended up leaving of course and took care of the issue myself in less than an hour for approximately $65.Corporate should replace everyone here with competent, hard working, and honest people. I recommend Pep Boys if you are looking for affordable repairs. They are less than a mile down the street.
The gentlemen at Just Brakes in Roswell, Ga provided great service when they repaired our vehicle. They explained the problem and the cost. We knew our truck needed a complete braking overhaul and the cost was comparable. We were very pleased with the timely and professional manner in which our service was conducted.
Did not honor work that was warranted for a lifetime. It was a very expensive repair compared to other brake shops in the area. I Im sure you can find a better deal just a mile or two away from here.
Just had a great experience at this Just Breaks location! Chad was knowledgeable and honest, which made me feel like I made a good decision in choosing Just Breaks. He explained everything thoroughly and even informed me when the more expensive breaks I had planned on purchasing were out of stock. I highly recommend this location- its so important to be able to trust your car mechanic!
Obviously Just Brakes does not care unlike their advertisement. They refused to honor their lifetime warranty on $500 worth of repair work I spent three years ago. I would definitely recommend going anywhere but here or at least shop around this is a waste of money. Pep Boys does brakes for $99 per axle right down the street.
The manager duran provided great customer service and the mechanic was timely and knowledgeable. With that being said, DO NOT go here if you need a reasonable price. They upsell like crazy, overcharge, and do not offer competitive prices. Only gave it 5 stars because of the employees working there.
If you visit this location.. Dave is your guy! He was very nice, professional, and went through every detail and explanation of repairs. I got an awful lot of work done and the price was absolutely fair. They also have online coupons in which they honor. For all the work that was done.. I still had my car back the same day.
Came here twice to get brakes done. Work was good the first time. Brakes were fixed. Tried to tell me there was a 100.00 oil change on sale. Said no, oil changes are for 20.00...do your homework before coming here on what you think the problem is with your car, along with an estimate of what others would possibly charge.Second time was over charged for some work was more than what was asked. Again do your homework before coming here.
If I could give zero I would. Worst service ever. Lost day and a half just trying to get my pads changed. They ruined 2 front rotors and had to replace. A week later, today, I have noticed fluid leaking . After closer inspection I found that the pin holding the brake pads sticking out and not clipped in. After their service genius pushed it back in( it should have been done correctly first time, I asked him to check why its leaking. He would not take the wheel off and check, told me it was bad caliper. Sent me on the way. Right now at Toyota dealer loosing another day of work. Stay away for safety reasons. I wish I did
The first two times we visited Just Brakes, we had great service. The mechanics explained everything and gave us a fair price (not outstanding, but fair!).The last time I was there, I had an appointment scheduled. When I arrived, the mechanic at the desk told me they were too backed up to honor appointments and it would be at least 3 hours before they would even be able to look at my car. I asked if they could still at least do the oil change, and I could come back when they were able to work on my car, and they said even to do the oil change, I would need to wait about 2 1/2 hours before they would even be close to bringing my car in...even for an oil change. What is the use in making an appointment if they do not honor them!I am sad because I thought we had found a good mechanic.
I had a good experience getting my car serviced here. The technicians were polite and honest with me, which is huge for my choice of servicers. I did not have to wait too long to get my brakes and shoes inspected. Overall, I felt comfortable here and received good service.
Despite these terrible reviews, I went. The dealership couldnt get me in, and I had a work trip... but Ive noticed a squeak that is worse than what prompted my initial visit - 600 miles post brake pad replacement. Im unsure if this is simply an adjustment, or negligence. Stay tuned as I will be returning to check it out. I will not be giving any more $. If they tell me its something else, I will update my review, go to the Nissan dealership, and will have learned my lesson!
Great guys! Needed a free brake inspection & info & got it!
Good customer service. Had brakes and tires done. Staff was friendly and professional. They got everything completed in about 2 hours.
This business lies to customers and employs shady sales tactics. STAY AWAY.Brought my car here for a $79 brake pad change special. Was lied to by the mechanic and told that those brake pads werent made for my car and was told I needed to buy the more expensive ceramic pads. I needed to have the pads fixed that day so I said ok. About 2 or 3 days later I talked to my local Hyundai dealership and was told that that information was incorrect and my car would have been just fine with the regular brake pads. I immediately called this location back to talk to the technician that did my brake pad change and he told me to bring my car back in. While I was there the next day, he ASSURED me that he would refund me the difference in price that I paid for the ceramic pads and only charge me the $79 price that I requested. After two months, and being transferred to a handful of different people, I still have not received my refund.
Took my truck in because I thought a caliper was leaking. They told me it wasnt my brake caliper but the axle seal of my differential was leaking. Said they would replace the seal and I had to get new brake pads because of the oil saturation. Cool, fair price I thought and all was well.Month later the leak was happening again. Took it back and they were accomidating, got me right in said they were sorry and would fix it no charge. (Mechanic said he would put the correct seal in this time) why didnt they put the correct one in originally? HmmmMonth later leaking again, did my research and went to a different mechanic shop. They first question they asked is did they replace the axle bearing? I said that never came up. He explained that 9 times out of ten the seal is leaking because of a bad bearing and if not addressed early could have to replace the axle.I was glad a competent mechanic informed me of the true issue and now I am having my axle, bearings and seals replaced. Too bad I had to pay twice as much for two different mechanic to fix the problem.Even though they tried to do the right thing, if they dont know whats actually wrong how can they fix it. Maybe they are good at just brakes, but maybe they should stick to doing just brakes.
Just had my brake pads changed here after some attempted up-selling (normal for most discount mechanics) despite the terrible reviews I saw on here. As soon as I walked in the door, a disappointed customer was having a faulty job repaired from his last visit, so just know theres a risk involved. My pads seem to have been replaced just fine, but this $100 fix was attempted to be made an almost $600 one from various up-selling and problems they found with my car. In their defense, some of the problems they found are legitimate (like bad brake fluid), but I was only there for pads. Refusing the up-selling seemed to frustrate the guy a bit and didnt seem too interested in my business after that. However, the job was still done. Just know going in that you will have to combat up-selling. Get a second opinion on any up-selling they try.
For the love of God, dont go here. No matter how disparate you are.... DONT DO IT !
When first I brought my car to this Just Brakes originally to double check another mechanic’s diagnosis, they confirmed the work to be done and were a better price, so they got the job. When my brakes started to squeak last week, I took it back to them for their free brake inspection. After spouting off about unbalanced hydraulics and overheated brake pads, Kris quoted me almost $600 to fix the front calipers and back drums. I took it to my regular mechanic for a second opinion. Their diagnosis: cheap pads and brake dust. I don’t know what the company norm is, since this is the only Just Brakes store I’ve dealt with. This store may be fine for “everyday” maintenance, but get a second opinion if they try to upsell you.
Terrible, dont ever take your car to these price gougers. they will tell you need upgrades and repairs that you do not need. run dont walk away
Great service fix my car quickly and easily for a fair amount
Dave and BJ took good care of me. Thanks guys!!
They sabotaged my car after refusing way over priced services. They made my lugnuts so tight they all had to be broken off by a tire specialist. The guy said it was clearly done on purpose. They also quoted me at $600 for a $200 job, I highly recommend staying away from these scam artists
Honest and friendly. Fixed what needed fixing, another shop just wanted to replace everything for twice the cost.
Do not waste your money in this place, got pads and calipers replaced, there is a harmonic sound coming every time i brake, wnt 4 times and only excuses, call the corporation and took to another facility, same excuses, if u like your money look some place else.
Quick stop nice buisness
Quality service at competitive prices.
Wont turn rotors for DIY.
See attached photos and video. They installed the brakes pads backwards. The mechanic struggled to spin the wheels as a result of the backwards installation.
Do not like people who lie. Put wrong breaks on my friends car and never reimbursed her to get correct one some where else.
They did a good job for a good price, but tried hard to upsell unneeded parts and service.
They seem to find a problem with every single rotor that comes into the shop.
Got brakes fixed ubuy.me
Good deal...
Great service
