Travis was great and everything that was promised was delivered. I also thought that his entire staff was very polite and professional.

I was pleased with the dealer that helped me out because he didnt try to force me into buying a vehicle. I was able to purchase a vehicle that i liked. I was able to purchase a vehicle within the price range i could afford.

I was having the Takata airbag replaced as a recall by GM. I scheduled the job a month out to assure part availability. Upon arriving at my appointment, I was advised that part was not available. After expressing considerable displeasure, a part was borrowed from another customer and put in my 2012 Tahoe. After leaving the dealership, I noticed the dash was cracked and e-mailed a picture to your customer service rep. This is very poor service bordering on sneaky behavior by the installer.

Richland is the only one that put me in a car that I love and not in a car I dislike !!! Richland is the best will be going back and telling everyone else about it!!!:)

Had to have a lightbulb replaced and it cost me almost 3 hundred dollars mostly being labor. I know the procedure having to go by the recommended hours per job but i know the alterate method to replace the bulb and it only being a half hour job.. i know it is a business and a racket.Mark King

So not happy with dealership. I went online to schedule an oil change and for them to check my coolant sensor. Dropped truck off, they called me back and said they would to replace a part that cost around 500. Told them I had a warranty and they said there is no record you will need to pay. So we pay the amount and guess what they didnt change the oil. I wouldnt recommend this place. Overly priced and the people there arent friendly.

During a merged sale with Dodge and Chevrolet, my husband and I bought a Jeep Wrangler. Quick and Easy. NOT SO FAST. When we went to pick it up the next day can you imagine our surprise when we were told the salesperson sold us, took a cash deposit, a vehicle that was not available, had already been sold. He had concocted a story that it was being brought in from a central yard. IN STEPS FREDDIE SOSA. General Manager of the Chevrolet dealership where the event took place. Freddie was able to refund our deposit, after an entire day searching, found us a Jeep that suited our need, at a better price. had it brought in from another state, and we were so pleased with his efforts and expertise, traded our 2012 truck for a brand new 2020 GMC! Scott even delivered it to us at our Ranch, 100 miles from town. Freddie and Scott and Richland Auto will be friends for life. Only place we will go in the future! They really made lemonade from a lemon.!

Fast friendly service by extremely competent personnel

Salesman, Joe Lujan, and his team worked very hard to find me a truck, Canyon AT4. They had to import one from another dealer that met my requests. The delivery was thorough and informative including the navigation and sound system. I am very happy woth the experience, and my new truck. Kudos and thanx. New dealership name, Richland Motors.

The Technician suggested changing the oil and its an electric car with no oil. They rotated the tires but did not adjust the tire pressure as requested and they did not check battery fluid levels or the air cleaner as spelled out in the owners manual. They installed the voluntary recall computer fix, even though I told them not to do so if it would reduce the range, which it has. Now we cant make it to Albuquerque as the automatic Hilltop mode limitation reduces battery capacity to 90%. We had manually set the battery to Hilltop mode to eliminate the fire risk but couldve taken it off for long trips.

Communication with your customers is very important in regards to informing guest of service prices and an idea of time frame for service being performed. I was not informed with ample time of the service cost or time to service a single light in my car. When notified about cost and time frame everything was already being finished and this left me feeling I had no other choice but to pay a hefty bill. Very frustrating when proper communication would have prevented all of these various problems!

My driver side window was broken and needed a new regulator. I called Desert Sun ahead of time on a Saturday and the service adviser told me to bring my car in. They checked it out and had the part in stock. The service adviser had to motivate the tech to complete the work order which he did. I was in and out in less than an hour. The mechanics didnt seem that motivated because my car sat unattended in the bay for a while.

These guys go above and beyond! Truly great service. I would recommend this dealer to anyone! They are very easy to work with and extremely helpful and communicative. This has been one of the best car buying experiences ever.

Driving across country with a Chevy Equinox, and stopped in Roswell to see friends. Pulled into town and check engine light came on. Took it straight to Cory Courts at Desert Sun. The salespeople are fine but the finance people are low down shady shady people!!!!!! You can go in pre-approved & hand them the name, phone number, fax number & email address to your loan officer & tell them everything has to go DIRECTLY to that loan officer but since they have a contract to get financing INDIRECTLY through some company, they do it that way no matter what you say. Which runs your credit SEVERAL times (lowering your score). Very RUDE if you question anything & say that what ever your loan officer says is a lie. Then they REFUSE to give copies of ALL signed documents, they only give you a few pages. I have requested copies for a month now & have only received 3 complete documents.

Extremely disappointed in this dealerships loyalty to out of town business. Found a vehicle online I was very interested in, was dealing with salesperson and get a call the next day (the day I was to drive up to purchase) with a story about the car being sold. Dont get your heart set on a vehicle if youre not from Roswell they may just sell it before you get to them!

The only reason I give this dealership one star is because zero stars is not an option.Horrible salesman, and management doesn’t care!!!!!! Made numerous promises that were not kept. Martin only showed me how to pair my phone. Nothing else was explained on the vehicle even though I was promised a thorough walkthrough. Martin promised everything on my year old truck would be easy to put on my new one and they would do the switching. That was the only reason I agreed to buy the truck. They pulled my new truck up with the accessories dumped in the bed. Just a here’s your truck and Martin said nothing would fit in new truck and I had to argue to get them to bolt the fuel cell down.Also, my brand new truck was dirty because they didn’t have time or people to detail it!!!Talked to woman in service department on the follow-up call and she was “shocked” at the poor quality of my experience. I was promised a manager would call but have not heard anything for several weeks now. It’s obvious this dealership has no real concern for their customers and only wants to make a buck on a sale. Stay far away from this place!!!!!!!!!!!

The service staff was quick and efficient. They were able to obtain the parts I needed to repair my vehicle quickly! I had my car back in less than two hours from start to finish. They changed my oil and replaced a door handle that I had broken. Thank you Desert Sun!

Timely service is wrong wrong wrong. The service department is slow. When asked how long my service would take, the answer was by the end of the day. I called it will be tomorrow. 4 days later in an hour you should be done. Another 3 hours it was finally done. Never again will I use the service department. Car salesman totally a 180. Kind friendly service they do go the extra mile to ensure your happiness.

My heater core intake hose was leaking and i thought i could do it myself. I got it off but broke the plastic connector (its an older truck) on the intake. I got the replacement hose on at the bottom but could not get it connected at the top (awkward angle). I called Desert Sun Service and was told to bring it in, theyd take care of me. They told me although its only a 10 minute job theyd have to bill an hour for labor which i had no problem with. I towed it in, and it sat for a day and a half (drove by several times and it hadnt moved on the lot) before i came in to get a status. At that point they got someone on it right away and it was done (right at closing time) in an hour. I left there and had some errands, but as soon as I turned on the AC, the Outlet Hose popped off at the connection and I overheated in 3 minutes and lost power. Im not a huge believer in coincidences and Im not really sure Im suggesting anything specific, but I was not happy with this experience and will not tow it back there- nor will I be back to Desert Sun for service.In conclusion, there was damage due to overheating and I subsequently incurred an addition 1300$ in costs thanks to, I believe, Desert Sun.

Mike, Martin, Josh and Fritz made the whole experience perfect. Josh explained how to get service and repair issues resolved quickly. Fritz explained the financial process so I could completely understand it. And Martin took the time to explain and demonstrate every feature of my new High Country. I am overwhelmed. Good service and help

I didnt actually use this shop but went with their collision shop on their recommendation but their customer service was excellent! I was able to text them from the road which is so convenient! They got back to me almost immediately and were able to call me and refer me to the shop that would assist me the most. They texted me directions and checked back to make sure I got there! Great customer service and had a great experience at their collision shop too!

Anytime I call in they get me an appointment as quickly as possible. They offer a shuttle service and get my vehicle ready in a timely manner. Very nice staff always willing to help.

I purchase a car at the location. A few weeks ago my wife got jack knife and the insurance has consider it a lost. So I started the process to get it the paper work for my Gap Insurance. So I had to cancel the extended warranty and all. So I had to work with the dealership financial officer. When I meant him face to face he told me go to a different dealership to get it. So I purchase a GM product and know I am going through a Dodge dealership to get the paper I needed. All I got to say Freddie at Dodge help me out more than the GM financial Officer. Freddie understands customer satisfaction.

The service department at Desert Sun Roswell is great! I will not go any where else. They are always pleasant and courteous, but most importantly to me is they are honest. Ok service. We were looking for a vehicle here and the guy was nice but didnt show us anything we really liked. Seemed to be a bit bother by us and wasnt really interested in showing us a lot of vehicles. We ended up buy from another dealership up the road.

The young lady who assisted me was so helpful and made me feel at ease. The guys in the Service Dept. worked me in and were so courtesy and non descending. I really appreciate each and every one.

Really happy with this place. We tried several dealers, Hobbs, Odessa, midland, El Paso, and this is the first dealer that really has helped us even with our low credit score. This is our second purchase and we are happy with the out come, only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because our interest is a little high, but don’t really throw a fit over it since I know refinincing is always an option. Marcus and Tom have been very helpful both times.

Update: After speaking with an automotive shop owner here in town I decided to go back to Desert Sun GMC service dept after my first visit to get a issue resolved with the vehicle that is still under factory warranty. Met with Corey in Service as well as Jeff in Parts - they were helpful and assured me that they would get the issue resolved. The issue was resolved quickly and I am content with the service we received. As far as Desert Sun Dodge I heard the service provider who fudged our insurance quote without finishing all the repairs is no longer at the dealership. I will gladly return in the future. Thank you Desert Sun!If I could give zero stars I would. Had a horrible experience at the desert sun dodge service department (insurance fraud pending) and no better at Chevy dealership service dept. Avoid them at all costs!

I stopped going to their location on SE Main, because they never kept the appointments. I go to this location (a week after placing an appointment) and get told you dont have an appointment. I spoke with Travis, to show that I record my phone calls and could prove that I DID make an appointment. He had his employees service the vehicle. We paid our bill shortly after that, and it reads appointed created 2018-06-20 at 3:09 PM. So did I have an appointment or not? Hopefully this isnt an ongoing problem.

Terrible service department. Have been here several times for warranty work and every time I have had to bring the vehicle back for one reason or another. They do bad work, dont keep appointments and you will have to fight to get them to honor warranties.

Worst customer service I have ever received! Had an appointment this morning at 9am (received confirmation emails and a phone call) droped off this morning at 9am for oil change and a recall issue, at 2:00pm still no word, so stopped by to check on it and they didnt even know it was there. All the service manager could do was make excuses and apologize saying they could try to get it in on monday!!! On top of that this recall has been an ongoing issue since July, that no one seems to know about and have been told numerous times they will get back to me on it and never do.... NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL!!! If I could give it zero stars I would!

So my engine block cracked on my truck and I was in desperate need of a vehicle and I only have positive things to say about my buying experience, my aunt and I drove up to roswell first thing in the morning prior to that I talked to this polite guy named Henry who was very descriptive and sent me loads of pictures of the vehicle and kept me well informed, I ended up looking at a 2005 silverado in excellent condition and I knew it was the one, being a first time buyer isn’t easy but Henry stuck to his guns and got me approved with my aunt co signing for me, he was there with me every step of the way and I ended up driving that silverado off the lot filled with gas and detailed where you could eat something off any part of the vehicle, if I ever look at another vehicle they will be my first choice and I wanted to give a huge shoutout to the used sales branch for giving me such a stress free smooth buying experience!

Went for servicemen the work car and they reordering sell me a 40,000 dollar truck. Service department was OK, work wasnt done because my fleet manager sent me with wrong car. Lol

Service usually seems ok, went in for maintenance and my battery was dead a few days later, may not have been their fault but I just thought they tested for these kinds of things. And it happened on a Sunday and they are closed. Bad luck!

So i called and inquiry about a vehicle and josh picked up the phone told him everything said he call me in a little bit. so i call him the next day because he failed to return my calls and answer my question worst sales man iv ever had. SO I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND CHRIS THE FINANCE MANAGER ANSWERS SO I TOLD HIM WHAT VEHICLE I WAS LOOKING AT ANT THE HAD IT PRICED 27995 I OFFERED 25000 AND LAUGHED RIGHT THERE ON THE PHONE. SAYS NO WE WONT TAKE THAT. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! and talk about money hungry that was a very reasonable offer but what ever i wont ever buy a vehicle now from desert sun just becasue of this bad experience. il go somewhere else.

Took my car in because my AC or heater werent working. The day after I got my car back I started having the same issues. Was told I would have to pay more out of pocket for labor and parts and that they wouldnt issue a refund on the $597 I spent the first time around.

Great service and had part in two days

I had power train on vehicle and was told it was under warranty.My rear seal was leaking,so I was told they wouldn’t be able to do anything for two weeks.I had rear seal done elsewhere they had fixed to begin with,no word of compensation I had to go into to store physically three times just to get appointment to get serviced after rear seal was finished,and disrupt meeting just to get a service appointment!Then to top it off new guy in service department tried to tell me he couldn’t take payment over phone,was trying to pay because I work out of town and had it dropped off there!Been driving gmc and chevys all my life these guys made me wanna quit because the service!Two weeks is not efficient for anyone and I was very disappointed!

Stay away from Desert Sun! The work that they claimed would only take a few days took twenty - nine days. The paint started chipping within a few weeks. Also, after I paid the bill I started getting fraudulent charges on the credit card I used to pay them. I am not accusing them of identity theft, but I find the timing awfully odd.

Easy to work with and no pressure to buy.
