Great spot, definitely worth stopping in. Super close if youre heading between Tahoe and other parts of Highway 80. Really strong selection of bourbons, and most importantly, Dennis and his dad take the time to understand each person who comes in to learn what they are seeking and offer recommendations that are genuine. Their store picks are a reflection of them working to serve their customers and create great relationships. Highly recommended!

Unassuming on the outside but inside its a goldmine of hard to find Bourbon, and Scotch, all priced competitively. I stumbled across it by accident and just wandered in. For perspective, to get Weller (any of them) at Total Wine you have to spend a ton of money a year to be put on their Grand Reserve status just so you can enter a lottery to be able to buy it once a year. I walked in and bought two bottle of Special reserve for $50 a pop, they also had the more rare stuff and three kinds of Pappys. I will definitely be back, totally worth the drive from Fair Oaks.

Friendly and good prices alot of variety

I really enjoyed this place. We were in town from Reno (where I own a whisky bar) and thought Id stop in. I have a few unicorns on my purchase list for my personal collection that even im unable to get as a bar owner. I feel I could probably scratch most of those off my list here if I was willing to pay. Best part is Gio was a big help in helping me finish a collection ive been after. Thanks man!

This store is owned by the same guys that own Thunder Liquor in Rocklin. They have a good selection here. Its better at Thunder Liquor. Pricing is a mixed bag. Some bourbons are within reason others, not so much. The three stars is due to pricing.

Fantastic selection of high quality bourbons and whiskeys. The owners are very knowledgeable of the items they keep in stock, and are very helpful with assisting customers in selecting the best drink of choice. Would highly recommend visiting this store if you are looking for your favorite bourbon or whiskey, as well as something new as the selections go on and on.

Stumbled upon this store by accident. What looks like a run of the mill liquor store from the outside you will be amazed with the selections. If you like bourbon you will be like a kid in a candy store.Barrel picks, hard to find and daily drinkers you can tell they are passionate about what they sell.Great friendly customer service and good prices. Distracted by the bourbons I didnt get a chance to study the Scotch or wine selections but they had many single malts and I did notice a bottle of Caymus Cabernet staring at me.

These guys had an AMAZING selection of bourbons! (as well as a lot of other whiskeys at a quick glance) They have great prices all around and have some great deals pretty regularly too. The owner was very helpful and informative and helped me select a few great bourbons.

Staff was too busy chatting with customer (assumably also a friend) to help. After finally asking (if) I could ask a quick question was met with annoyance followed by impatience with an immediate no we do not carry that, do you know anyone who might? No. Thats it. Just No. Back to chatting with a friend.The item in question was the iconic Its a Boy! or Its a Girl! Cigar or Cigar bands for a good friend who just delivered up @ Sutter and would have gotten a great kick out of it.Not a big deal, not the end of the world. 3* because the place seemed decent, though the staff could not be bothered to answer a question.

Called the business looking for a bottle of bourbon and was told the owner would not disclose the price of it unless it was in person. Only after I advised them I wasn’t going to drive 20 miles to their business so I could be surprised on the price, he mulled it over and told me price is “flexible”.....The quote he gave me was more than double the average cost of it by other stores. I only know that because the last store I called just sold their last bottle of that bourbon for $86 and they were out of stock, which led me to bourbons and more liquor.Long story short, if you want to be price-gouged by a small business that is trying to rip off their customers then this is the place for you. Glad they saved me the drive there...*UPDATED 12/20/20*Don’t waste your time being price-gouged there, I’ve bought three bottles of Blantons from other local liquor stores, not specialty stores as the owner suggests, and they’re going for $99, not $180 as he’s trying to sell it. It’s rare but not $180 rare lol...

If you like burbon scotch and whiskey you have to stop by here and check it out! They have rare and delicious burbons that I cannot find anywhere else! The employees are very helpful and will help you make a decision. They know their stuff and have great information for any lover of nice liquor!
