Speedy has an incredible meat market. They have a really nice selection of all kinds of meats. I would 100% recommend it to anyone who asks me. Amazing spot to pick up a few groceries on the way home too!

Went to local Cub on Larp by Como a few times this week and tonight. Chris, a gentleman cashier associate always greet me with a friendly attitude. He is very helpful at the self serve registers. Thanks to the guys at the Deli as well. Theyre so welcoming and give kind assistance. Thank you, Chris and the entire Cub Team for providing a quick, pleasant/positive, clean, & safe experience every time. Love and Light to All :)

Lazy employees. went in just before 6 am today used the self checkout and it malfunctioned and the guy way on the other end of registeres said give it a minute, he never walked over to see what the problem was and machine never fixed itself he just sat there playing on his phone. I left my item at register walked out and will never walk back in that store.

This is a clean store that is organized well. Starts with typical fresh produce and then gets into the dry food and packaged food. The prices are higher than average for nearly everything. Essential everyday is the store brand. At this visit I didn’t have the pleasure of engaging with an employee, so I’m not sure whether they are friendly or not. The parking lot was adequate and clean. There is a pharmacy and customer service department.

This place has a great design and layout. They have the widest selection of alternative diet foods compared to other Cub locations. I highly recommend this Cub.

Bought deli meat asked for it to be cut fresh Because the stuff sitting out was curled up and crusty looking. I get to my car and there’s this stench coming from one of my bags And it’s the deli meat I take it back in the store No apologies but my money is returned

Service is poor. The guy at the Deli seemed like he was more interesting in preparing the food then serving it to me. When he saw me approaching the deli, he was moving away and I was not greeted. I will not be coming back.

Sadly, i wont be back anytime soon. Im immunocompromised, and the store was filled with staff and customers alike that were not wearing masks and werent socially distancing. this has been my go-to grocery since i moved to St. Paul, but i guess i head for whole foods on Snelling from now on because they still ask people to mask.

Good selection but lately every time I go I see at least a couple customers without masks, and it makes me not want to keep going to this location. Id like to not get covid and die just because this store wont take the pandemic seriously. Someone should tell them they can be fined up to $25,000 for not enforcing the mandate.

Staff here have been kind and courteous to me. I have had reasons to connect directly with their management and corporate and they always make it a straight-forward and pleasant process.The store itself is very well maintained.

On Sunday night, March 3 it was 10 degrees below zero and I wanted junk food .....I wanted the stuff thats really unhealthy but tastes great ...I wanted Mountain Dew loaded with sugar and I wanted greasy potato chips with sour cream dip so I headed to this Cub Foods and arrived 15 minutes before they closed at midnight ...... I received some of the best customer service Ive ever received from grocery store employees ....The 2 employees were Chris (male) and Jennifer and I had never met either of them before. ... When I walked in there were no other customers in the store ....The employees were standing near the front entrance.... Chris told me the store was closing in 15 minutes.....His friendly tone indicated he was saying this to be helpful and not because hes in a hurry to go home..... I seldom go to this store so I asked Chris where the soda pop is and he pointed and told me the number of the aisle ......Then I needed to find the sour cream dip....It was in 2 different places in the back of the store so Chris walked back there to show me .......After I had all the junk food in my cart I went to the register where Jennifer and Chris were waiting .....Jennifer worked the register and she was really sweet ....... Im glad I went to this store and I really enjoyed the junk food !

My go to for groceries... everything is easy to find, bi weekly specials, great bakery and deli. I have shopped at several Cub foods stores over the years, but this is my favorite ! 1) Super fast shopping. I was in and out in less than 15 mins on Christmas eve ! 2) Great steaks. Honestly Cub would not be my first choice for steaks, but this location has some of the best steaks anywhere ! Really ! Fork tender perfectly marbled T-bones under $12 !

Pepsi truck just left. Store was out of 2 liters of Pepsi zero. Why advertise a sale if you are not going to stock product?

I’ve picked up orders here through InstaCart several times. Once the InstaCart shopper made a terrible substitution and once they just flat out gave me something completely different than what I wanted. Both times the Cub staff were incredible. Really helpful and went above and beyond to make it right. Love this store.

I use the handicap carts to shop two times a week and spend four to five hundred a month. I now have to go to another store because the carts havent worked in weeks.

As far as Cubs go, nicest one Ive seen.

This store charges a dollar for a 14-cent face mask that they should be giving away to every customer that comes through their door and if they were smart theyd be giving the customer a dollar bill to go with it.

They are not open until midnight like the website states. Update your hours!

I lived in this neighborhood for 4 years and since have move to Minneapolis. I still come here to shop because its clean, laid out well, well stocked and has a very friendly staff! Also... Look at how huge this onion is!

I absolutely hate this store. The produce is horrible. I complained about the rotten onions twice and the excuse was it was the supplier. Well the leadership should be going to the supplier. Its not acceptable to sell food like that. The check out lines are crazy and it doesnt matter what time of day it is either. The prices of some items are higher than Whole Foods. For example the avocados are higher even before Amazon lowered prices. Cans of beans are more expensive too. But what pisses me off more is that they have expired food on the shelves. The stores overall in MN are terrible.

If I cant find what Im looking for I am always able to get assistance. The store is clean and in order, nothing is out of place. The food is always fresh. I have very little reason to go anywhere else.

Its convenient, but the produce leaves much to be desired. If anythings on sale, it may already be bad. I wouldnt buy the pre-bagged Brussels sprouts—usually have to toss 20% of them.

Ive lost count of the times Ive found extremely moldy produce here. Its gotten to the point where I just dont buy it because its so inconsistent and very likely to be bad. Its often the ones right on top (which should be most noticeable by employees) and usually a TON of mold, so its not hard to tell its gone bad. The store is smaller than most Cubs with a more limited supply. That also means constantly bumping into other customers in the small space. Employees are nice, but I never choose this location if I can avoid it.

Ive gone to this grocery store for years since they upgraded the old Rainbow Foods that was once here. Thankfully when Cub took it over, it remained mostly the same and kept great quality service and selection. Great departments all over the store with plenty of items in many different brands, varieties, sizes, etc. Highly recommend this store. My only complaints about this store are very, very occasionally they have products out that are either spoiled or open. However, they are always good about exchanges.

A lot of the produce there is old. Ive got molded onions and old fruit that was supposed to be fresh your better off going to the cub on university. It might be ghetto but the produce is fresh.

Great store with the same layout as many other Rainbows (and Pick n Saves), which makes it easy to navigate. Friendly employees are always helpful and ready to answer questions. Can get extremely busy on Wednesdays and Saturdays, double coupon days, but the deals are worth the wait. I only wish this store were open 24 hours!

First of all, i would like to apologize to all customers who are affected by some of my fantastic coworkers, trust me, thats just how they are in real life. Just laugh and thank god you aint them. Since the reopening as cub, its been very unorganized, especially at the top. At the start, they were firing any employee, for any little reason, or no reason at all, just because they could, because we werent technically Cub employees because we were all on one year probation (union thing).Lately theres been nothing but transferring out full time employees to other stores and not bringing anyone else in, which puts added stress on other workers, because now they have to do their job too. This all adds, to of course, a low morale, which in turn for most all employees, impacts their customer service, unfortunately. Hopefully things start getting better soon, but they just seem to keep getting worse. Anyone who needs help at my store, just look for Brian, and Ill do my 100% best to help you in anything you need.P.S. produce manager is really bad, buys rotten produce just because he gets it for cheap. They throw away so much its crazy. They fired the old rainbow produce manager, who by the way, was really good at what he did, another genius cub idea lol.

I love Cub Foods. I love the do it yourself purified water for my goldfish tanks. They run the water through a reverse osmosis system which removes all contaminates including nitrate, chlorine, floride as well as most minerals. Pure clean water with a neutral ph for less than .39 per gallon.

Shop here about once a week. I usually have a good experience. Friendly Staff, good product. I rarely have trouble finding what Im looking for.

This is a really big Cub foods compared to other ones I been to. It has a larger selection then most Cub foods! The store is very clean and I didnt even have to wait in a line at 5pm.

My whole office down the street at TIES is unhappy that they have reduced the salad bar in half after the Holidays! Whats up with that? It was the best salad bar around!

Ok place if you need staples... dont expect Lunds Byerlys quality.. sometimes you can find a sale on something worth while.. help is mostly non existent.. Cashiers are rude. go elsewhere if you can....

Can we agree that the phrase “grocery store donut” should be considered a compliment? In a recent Google review of my favorite donut shop, the reviewer described his maple long john as a grocery store donut. It took me a moment to realize he was using the words derisively. What on earth is meant by that? While the humble grocery store donut may lack the extraordinary flights of fancy one finds at Mucci’s, Glam Doll, or Mojo Monkey, one must ask: in whose framework do those outré pastries repose?Disappointment in an unadorned donut is evidence of dullness of passion. To be excited about a slightly stale glazed twist is to be excited about life.

I really really hate it when Ive waited a long time in a long line, with others behind me, and finally arriving, only to be told, sorry, this line is closed. The only available option is another long line. Happened July 29, 2019 at the 1201 Larpenteur Ave W, Roseville, MN 55113 store.

This is fairly high volume traffic area within a shopping center containing a cub grocery store.

Get in and get out. Awesome

I have read a lot of negative reviews from people who just put that this place is awful and low quality because they got a rude cashier. First of all, one bad apple doesnt spoil the bunch and second of all, the food quality has nothing to do with how staff treats you. Relax, people.This is a nice, clean, well managed grocery store. Not perfect by any means but with the sales that they have, its tough to beat. They have higher quality food than Aldi for comparable prices but they also sell name brands if you dont like to buy generic. The stores layout here is very easy to navigate and the attached liquor store has great prices (tough to beat elsewhere) and is conveniently located under the same roof but isnt attached to the grocery store so if you need to make a quick stop, you dont have to deal with all the lines. Some of the cashiers arent the friendliest people in the world (although some that Ive had are wonderful!), but dont let it ruin your day. Just smile, say thank you and take your savings home with you.

Getting tired of the rotten moldy produce. Live across the street. Convenient yes. No joke next time you stop here take a close look at all the produce. 1st time 75% of the stocked strawberries were moldy and damaged. 2nd time bought pineapple, began cutting it up to find it was also rotten. 3rd time was multiple items i didnt look over well enough and found all of them expired when i got home. The previous reviews are spot on. Horrible service And horrible product. Who ever runs produce seriously needs to be fired before a lawsuit happens and someone becomes seriously ill. Not joking like right now. Disgusting.
