The sales person was great, but the version service I didnt like because yall in this store dont program phones any more alot of customers is not that tech savage like myself, really makes it hard for older customers!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience here recently. I have been a long time Verizon customer. One who still holds his old grandfathered unlimited data plan. I went in with the intentions of comparing how the different cameras compared in store. I walked past check in as most sales reps were busy. I browsed quietly and happily, as soon as I broke gaze from the display I was greeting happily. So much so it caught me off guard. The employee who helped me was absolutely wonderful, taking the time to write out the cost of several different options to go with my research. Shopping here was a dream.
Update Im here again. I just want a screen protector. The management signed us in and then disappeared. All these people waiting! Wow. Just Wow!! Meanwhile the guy beside me has been here nearly an hour.--Lost my drivers license but had a photo work badge, and old drivers license, a concealed carry permit, and 3 credit cards with my photo. I was refused service because the license is expired! Nevermind that I can call customer service and provide a PIN number and receive help without having to provide ANY of this. This store must not want your business bad enough to use common sense and logic to ID you. In an age where everything is digital, it is ridiculous that one must present a hard document to discuss plan changes or buy a new phone!
Young lady that helped us knew what she was doing. Never once did she try to push a new phone on us. Rocky Mount Verizon is the place to go.
Service was good and friendly no problems there but the store itself was not up to standard non of the phones on display were label at all no price no info so it was hard to shop there plus nothing was in stock horrible experience proubly were never go there again
Wonderful experience in this store. I was assisted by Kayla, who was absolutely phenomenal! She was personable and wasn’t pushy at all, like many other salespeople I’ve dealt with from my previous carrier (Sprint/T-Mobile). Highly recommend Verizon, this store, and for sure Kayla! Came in on June 10, 2021 waited over an hour for service only to find out a few weeks later that the customer service rep did not complete my request correctly. So, I had to call into Verizon customer service, to complete my request again.

ANGELA WAS GREAT
I had to wait a little, but the customer service rep was super helpful and even applied the screen protector I purchased to my new phone for me. She was very knowledgeable as well, and helped me transfer everything from my old phone to the new one. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves a shout out.
The employees worked beyond their call of duty but the experience was very disappointing.I was not able to get what I needed.It is very frustrating not being able to receive messages from my phone.
Joseph was the best, all 3 associates I spoke with while there, Joseph, the manager, & the light skin lady with long hair were helpful & very nice. I have a Verizon store right in my city that I could have went to but I went to this one for my new phone because of how nice I was treated when I came in to buy a phone case about a month ago. This will be my go to store.

Just dont...UPDATE - As u can see Verizon responded saying they will do better. They didnt even ask me to identify the problems. Either they know Im right or they dont care.I also need a sim card slot opener for my iPhone. I was told they dont have any. I called Verizon customer service and was told that was a lie, they have a case full. I contacted Apple. They said they do not give those to customers unless they purchase an unlocked phone. They then told me to contact my service provider.
I ordered ahead, the salesperson met me at the car, picked up, and never had to enter the store. Easy & quick !
Made reservations and got right in and was able to speak with someone immediately. Very friendly and quick in and out service.

Am totally fed up with every Verizon store I have been too...they used to be helpful...now all they do is give you a tech service number and tell you to go on the internet to get help or answers to your questions...all they want to do is sell you stuff! What ever happened to service after the sale?
Good service, but they dont have anything they sell in store. Have to order, then you have to make another trip to have it activated! Traffic is HORRIBLE getting in there.

I usually go there with what I want, browsing and having the salesman as a guide is not for me. The store has a very good variety, remember Verizon is there to make money. The accessories are very high priced, though there are some good deals, shop smart.
The young man name Robert was awesome, from the time I walked into Verizon store, he greeted me with kindness and worked extremely hard to make my visit good.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never seen such poor customer service from anyone in my life. Trying to get me and my husbands phone plan switched to one together, and the person in the store acted like it was the act of congress to help. Proceeded to only give a quote on one of the most expensive options there was and that the buy one get one iphone XR deal did not apply because we were not new customers. After talking it over we decided to call customer service to see if they had any other help with this. Well guess what they did! They told us that we could use my apple watch as the new line and add the phones from there for the deal. Went back to the store and had the worst attitudes from the employees! They told us that they could not honor what customer service said since they are are 3rd Party!! Can you believe that! 3rd party that Verizon is paying to talk to customers and give advice and support but cant back what they say? Why even pay them then at that point? Manager gets involved and tells us (customers since they were Atell, who had better customer service I might add) that we could go to another service then. No value for loyalty here or respect for customers. Even when Spectrum Mobil is CHEAPER and uses VERIZONs towers so you still get the same coverage. They think that one person isnt going to make a dent in their paychecks, but guess what, when they continue this with others they will start losing more and more business making that dent. People that cant get jobs anywhere else dont belong working in customer service, there was a reason they were not hired anywhere else. Wont be coming back.

1st given phone that would not cut on.2nd people unwilling to help in store referred to thats what text department wad for. I was not leaving with another useless phone. I live 30 out and had already spend 4 plus hours in store. Not people friendly. 1 exception was yuself seemed concerned but didnt help. I have done business there since they were Alltel and with each change professional care has dropped.

Always to crowded stop going to that location now I go to the 959 N Wesleyan Blvd. its much quieter and nobody is never there. In and out, the stafff is very professional and knowledgeable. Ask for Tayla,Tianna or Sharon the manager. Good people. I will.nvr go back to Work Plaza location.

Great service, So helpful, Very friendly.I had beendisappointed at the Tarboro location, they didnt seem interested IN nothing but trying to sell me anouther phone, eventhough they was aware THAT I hadnt been long purchased my phone..So I was sceptical about my visit to another store for help. It was an awesome experience I went in to get a sim card because u was having issues...long story not as long went in with expectations of not being able to change my data plan and ended up getting my sim card new plan...data back on and didnt have to pay anything!

I walked into the place and was greeted and told someone would be with me shortly, and then about 40minutes later I got assisted after a couple likely to buy customers, which came after me didnt buy anything.

Customer service is awful. We went in and purchased two new phones, cases, screen protectors, bt earphones and more. They sold us two wireless chargers not compatible with my phones and will not take back over $120! They picked them out for me! Also bought a new OtterBox case and tech with out asking rips out cover made to it to install a screen protector separate in which he couldnt get on correctly. Air bubbles all in it. I have been a verizon customer for over a decade!
We visited the store on Thursday. We did not get the answers from the associate. As we were leaving, the manager on duty said she would call us in a few minutes. It is now Saturday and still no contact. I called the store, spoke with Justin, he promised me he would have her call me in 45 minutes. Five hours later still no call. So I called the store again, and am on hold for 45 minutes and counting.
Rude employees with no care for customer service trying to force sales for commission. Save some hassel and find a different location.
Just know this place is always packed just like every other Verizon store in the world. Average service and product options, just out aside at least an hr for just getting to talk to someone.
The people at this store have managed to mess up every time I have visited them with different issues. First time, it was with my gfs phone. Instead of giving her 64 GB phone, they handed out 32 GB phone and when we went back to complain, they had the gaul to ask for restocking fee. On top of that, they managed to mess up her plan as well. Most recently, I bought Samsung Gear 2 watch from them. I returned the watch because I did not like it within a couple of days. The rep was very prompt at charging me the restocking fee but did not take out the watch from the monthly plan. On top of that, she charged me early disconnection fee and activation fee at the same time! This store has the most incompetent people Ive ever come across and they are pretty shameless about it as well. I only went to this store because of convenience but from now on, I would be traveling half an hour away to the neighboring town to get anything done.I would not recommend this store to anyone. I gave them one star here because this is the lowest you can give. If I could, I would even take out this one star.
