My car has been in the shop since may 2021 and its now August 2021. My kids begin school on Monday and I still dont have my vehicle. I call every week and its very frustrating that its taking this long just to have my car complete. I need my kids extracurricular activities. I gave it three stars because they are very nice people at this body shop but to be without a vehicle for 3 months now seems a bit extreme.

Incomplete repairsI requested the following done to my 2017 F-350:Driver door replacementRunning boards replacementTailgate replacementNew spray on bed linerOne running board was not replacedNo bed liner was done ( Supposedly the shop they use had the machine broken - Even when Shelby claimed later that an estimate was not given for that part- contradicted herself with the broken machine story she gave me when I went to pick up my truck) She call me that same day saying the estimate was given, and the machine was fixed.When I inspected the tailgate the top part were the step goes was missing - they replaced the damaged tailgate but didn’t install a complete tailgate with all the trim that goes at the very top.Please don’t come to this location for bodywork, attention is not given to what needs to be done, and then you get blamed for it. I’ve told Shelby, if the other running board was not included, and you were told the machine for the spray on bed liner is broken, why you didn’t call me to advise me and tell me it was going to take additional time and money? Obviously, she had no answer to my question.I’am very disappointed.

Took my car here after it was hit in a parking lot. They were very professional and did a nice job on the repair. I also had them detail my car. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because they never finished cleaning the inside windshield. Paid $100 for detailing, windows should have been cleaner, not all streaky.

Two words: John Bowers.I started the search for my wife for a new vehicle Monday of this week (its currently Friday). I emailed a large number of dealerships here in the Dallas area as well as outlying areas. I asked for a few simple things: I gave a stock number and asked for information for out the door pricing, so with taxes and fees. John, out of 10 or so replies was the only person to give me literally what I asked for.I gave him a call to talk about the Explorer I was interested in and set up a time to go look at it. I told him I was good with fees, taxes, etc., but the deciding factor would be the trade in value. I went to the dealership, let John work his magic and ended up buying the vehicle for a price I was happy with.John, having the sale complete, paperwork signed, still took the time to show us features in the car. He goes above and beyond to make sure your buying experience is as smooth as possible.I have visited this dealership in the past with a less than exciting memory, but John and the team are a completely different experience from the last time. I will definitely keep John Bowers and the Rockwall Ford team in mind for any future vehicle needs.

Really nice staff! They went above and beyond by giving my interior a lot of attention. Dog hair and sand from the beach we’re all cleaned up and we were so embarrassed. We never expected them to even consider cleaning the inside. The outside sure, but this made us really pleased. Great work!

I recently got into an accident in which the other party was at fault so their insurance made the claim and paid for the repairs, but it was the first accident I had ever been in and I didn’t have much of an idea what I was responsible for. My lien holder was no real help but the people at the body shop informed me on the normal course of action people take in my position and were very patient with me while dealing with the whole mess! The customer service was great and so was the work done on my car. They were done in a timely manner and were continuously courteous when I called and called about details. I would definitely come here again for servicing and any repairs my car may need in the future.

Looks like Rockwall Ford has a customer for LIFE...My experience with the Body Shop specifically Shawn Barge was Outstanding! I went in to verify a suspicious noise on my 2015 Ford Focus and discovered my vehicle required a warranty repair. I have never been so pleased with a mechanical service as I have experienced at Rockwall Ford. I give Shawn Barge 5 Stars for his knowledge in his profession and courteous service he provided me! I can not thank Mr. Barge enough! I pray that my Sales experience will be just as wonderful when I go to purchase my Ford Explorer @ Rockwall Ford! Repairs took drastically longer to complete than estimated, part of the problem was parts not being available for my car, which I under stand. After the parts did arrive, I kept getting your car should be done by Friday for about a month. For me, It really doesnt matter how long the repairs take, I have another car to use. But what was really disappointing was the world they did on my car was sub par. The steering wheel is not centered, panel gaps were off, and there are blemishes in the paint work they did. I brought the car back and brought these problems to the attention of the manager. Oh yeah, Ill get right on it. He called me back a week and a half later and asked what was going on with my car, and why it was still there. So I reiterated what I said earlier. He replied oh yeah, I fixed it that day, you can come pick it up now. So I went to retrieve my car. I discovered The panel gaps are better, but thats the only thing fixed. Guess Ill just take it to an alignment shop to get the steering wheel centered and live with the shoddy paint work.

It is the little things that make a difference. I always default to Ford for all my business. They did take a little longer then I had desired (2 months) and they struggled at communicating. When I got my car, I had to take it back because they forgot to do something which cost me time away from work....all that being said, the attention to detail and quality of work is why I go here and they did not let me down. My car drives like it did the day I drove it off the lot. Thank you! Highly recommend!

A year ago, I put my car in the shop for a group coupon that came out. I was told it would take about three hours for the inspection, car wash. After about a two hour they came back and said it did not pass because my high beam light did not come on when I turned it on. The tech did not know how to work my car, it would be about $250.00 to fix it. I told him thats funny, it worked last night. I checked it that night and it did work.Want this is, the need to make money back on there coupon. The coupon was for $25.00, inspection is $39.95. This is how they rip off the customer. I think the car needs fixing, but it does not. Will never use them again

Shelby at Rockwall Ford Collision is sweet and has great customer service, doing what she can to communicate. However, due to the lack of knowledge, confidence as well as lack of urgency, my 9 month old Ford was in the shop for 13 weeks for a front in bumper and sensor repair. They didn’t know what to do, wasn’t caring about time. Offered no explanation. When I finally spoke with the manager Sean at week 11, he was a friendly salesman and had that woo yet never offered any apology, and was like ya we we will get it done. Didn’t feel like he really cared. I do believe he sped up the process for what it would have been however no excuse for a Collision shop and a Ford shop who specializes in both the needs of my vehicle, to be gone for over 3 months. If you have to go, work with Shelby. But try not to go.

Horrible communication. We were told it would be a 2-3 week repair ended up taking 8 weeks. Our insurance covered a rental but it timed out and we had to switch to a VERY small car that the body shop covered, which was nice of them, but we own a truck so being in a tiny car for a month was extremely inconvenient. The final 2 weeks we were told almost every day that we would get the truck back the next day, so I would rearrange my schedule so I could be at the body shop, only to be told later that it wouldn’t be ready. Parts weren’t ordered that, in my opinion, should have been at the beginning like the head lamps. Just a horrible experience on top of a horrible experience. It would be nice if people at the body shop were held accountable for the miscommunication and lack of urgency to get the job done in a timely manner.

As I was waiting and sitting in the parking lot waiting on my grandson to come out of hertz. I hear this elder whit man yell at young black kid and calling him boy. Our 2012 Ford focus hit a pothole and ripped off part of his front bumper and in electronic component underneath the car and the engine shut off. Of course we had it towed to Rockwall Ford where we originally bought it and have almost always received good service.(The service department employees that did not treat us well in the past no longer work there… so problem solved .)Also, last fall someone ran into my 2015 Mustang, and again we had it repaired at Rockwall Ford Russell collision center.Russell handle both of our cars. He is very personable, patient and communicative. We both felt with each car his goal was to do the best for our car and work to meet our expectations if possible…rather than just do the cheapest job for the insurance company.When it’s time for new vehicle, we will definitely give our business to Rockwall Ford.

Repair of the hail damage was excellent And they also washed my vehicle. My only complaint. Someone should have looked inside my vehicle it was a mess huge white chaulky looking foot prints front and rear. Don’t understand that...The damage was hail on “outside”of my truck??? The dirt will come out. The repairs were great. I recommend them highly just check cleanliness before you leave.

Rockwall Ford Body Shop, and Service Center did an outstanding job on repairing my F350 that was involved in an accident. Since the vehicle that struck mine made contact in the left wheel, damaging the entire front end suspension, I knew immediately where I would have it towed. Rockwall Ford did NOT disappoint! Of course I was concerned about drivability, alignment, and overall straight pull, but the folks at RF took care, and did it right! I have oversized tires (35s), and it used to rub just a tad on a hard left turn...not now! Rockwall Ford made my truck right as rain! Thanks guys!

Stay away from Rockwall Ford Body Shop at all costs. I recently purchased my vehicle (July 2018) from Rockwall Ford; and shortly afterward, I was involved in a minor rear-end collision (August 29th) in my 2018 Ford Edge.I decided to use the body shop at the dealership, because I thought they would do the best job.I brought my vehicle in on August 31st to be repaired. I needed a new bumper and the hatch had to be fixed. After three and half weeks of it being in the shop, I was called and advised my vehicle was fixed. Once I arrived to pick up my vehicle I looked over my car and saw the bumper lining did not meet the edge of the hatch and there was a half-inch gap. I then opened the hatch for the first time since the accident (I was advised to leave it closed by the shop), and there were dents all along the bottom side of the hatch door. I looked at Shawn Barge, the Collision Manager, and showed him the damage. He stated “Did you show us that damage when you brought the car in”? I advised him that would be impossible since Shelby Chandler, told us not to open the hatch door because it probably won’t close again. I asked him if they conducted a thorough inspection of the vehicle before repairs were done and after repairs had been completed. He said they did but didn’t notice these problems. Inside the back of my vehicle, at time of delivery, there were dirty foot prints along the lining inside the car. I only had my vehicle for 6 weeks when I was rear-ended.Two and half weeks later (October 11th), my car was finally fixed. This only happened after I complained to the Public Relations representative of Rockwall Ford, Sheila Anderson.The Collison Estimator, Shelby Chandler, does not keep in touch with you, and when you call her, she never answers her phone. She doesn’t follow through with what she says she will do or has done.The office is run by a misogynistic manager, who could care less about his customers.I find Rockwall Ford Body Shop and their representatives, (with the exception of Sheila Anderson), to be unprofessional, untrustworthy, disingenuous, uncaring and rude.It took six weeks for minor repairs on my vehicle; luckily it wasn’t my insurance company paying for this. I would NOT recommend this repair shop for kind of service repairs. Give your money to a company that appreciates your business.

Waited 3 months on Rockwall ford, the car was in a wreck and i have them a call a and they said it would be a month before they could take my car in so I said ok, the car set for a month they finally take possession of it, i had asked for a quote on moving my fog lamps to the grill i necer recived that quite and then almost 6 weeks goes by to come to fund out that the supplement was being sent to the wrong email, I u understand human error people make mistakes but when I had asked several times before that it kept getting put off on my insurance. There were a few it should be ready by this time dates that were missed. They were friendly and polite but man if I would have went to another Collison shop I would have the car back over a month ago .

Ive taken my truck to this body shop a couple of times. And while the end result is they do repair my truck quite nicely. My main issue with them is the time it takes to repair my truck. My truck was unfortunately in two incidents last year. The first one took almost about three months to fully repair and costed me a good chuck of rental. Had to take the truck back several times to them after it was done with the outer body work. It had horrible electrical issues that Im guessing were caused when they had to rewire the new dash. No brake lights, lights staying on, Bluetooth no longer functions, console wasnt responding, just to name a few. But eventually they did resolved it.Now the most recent one took about six weeks to repair. My truck did not require six weeks worth of time to fix. One particular week I call to inquire if the repairs are done. Im told that is it but there is a problem. Apparently they havent gotten their last check from the insurance. Why am I informed this so late? Who knows. Its not like I havent called several times before to ask about updates. Well after a couple calls the insurance cuts out a check and sends a proof of payment. But the body shop doesnt accept their proof of payment and refuses to release vehicle. Im told by the body shop to stay in the rental(which at this point has a huge balance) so that they can use it as leverage to get the insurance to pay for more days. Insurance says absolutely not. They will not pay for rental on truck that is repaired and just sitting in their parking lot. They place fault on the body shop for taking far too long to repair the truck. And of course the body shop claims otherwise and faults the insurance. No one wants to take responsibility, and Im stuck with a lovely thousand dollar rental bill because of it. So overall Im fairly disappointed with my experience with this body shop. Which is a shame because my truck looks very nice. But the long repair time costed me in the end.

I am currently have to still deal with rockwall fords body shop after 53 days and still have problems, they took 45 days to repair the jeep in the first place on a 5 day repair, starting that they had to order a new part because the one that came in was bent, then I recieve my jeep and it still has a bent axle shaft on the passenger rear and the wheel has not been repaired, and it was paid for by my insurance to be done, so when I go to pick it up I am asked to pay for the wheel repair again.They are the absolute worst on customer service, they constantly blame someone else, and try every way possible to steal your money and make it seem like you owed them that, I wouldnt suggest them if you had broke down in their parking lot, no I still have to go back up there to collect a part of my wheel that their wheel guy forgot to put back on.Russell was the one I was dealing with and is just a smooth talker and trys to find anyway possible to squeeze his way out of it being their fault, wish I could give this place a 0 star and will turn anyone possible away from them.

The collision center did a great job fixing my bumper and working with the insurance. Russell was awesome throughout the whole process.The service center did a 4 wheel alignment and now my steering wheel is about 30 degrees off center. They blamed it on a control arm that needs to be replaced, which it does, but that doesnt effect whether the steering wheel being on center.When they gave me the vehicle back, the radio wouldnt turn on. They had my truck for 8 days in total. During that time the data harness on my after market stereo went off and needed to be reset. I only know this because I had to take it to a 3rd party since they couldnt fix it and wouldnt take responsibilty.

This was the worst experience Ever! Terrible customer service. We left our car for hail damage repairs on June 7, 2017 and did not get it back until July 28th. Shelby Chandler was horrible!!! She never called us one time to give us the status of our car. They charged my insurance company $500 to tow my car 43 miles. They we so unprofessional and rude. All they cared about was getting paid by the insurance company. I will NEVER EVER go back to Rockwall Ford collision even if I were stranded right in front of their shop.

I bought my truck almost 9 years ago here. When it went thru make ready they got oil stains on front drivers side door panel and seat. I was promised by the mgr. they would take care of it. (no WE OWE paper offered nor received). When it came time to get it fixed I was told no way they were not responsible. Now 9 yrs later I have it towed there because I had an accident. I decided not to use their collision center because of the RUDE attitude of everyone I spoke to there so then they padded my bill with STORAGE fees for my truck being there and if they did not repair it the storage bill was due.Great way to get repeat business huh?

Busy collision repair shop. A 3 day repair took a week and a half due to back log. Paint match was good but I found a small fish eye on the surface between the base and clear coat. It was caused by a piece of dust that wasnt tack cliothed off between application. . The work was acceptable to the wife on her car so I didnt make big deal on it. They said it was a rock chip but rock chips dont leave a raised surface feeling when you run your finger over the area. The job is around a 3 footer in quality due to this slight imperfection. I have painted cars and million dollar aircraft in a past career and can assess paint jobs after having critical reviews on my work. Had a show winner on experimental aircraft at Oshkosh in 2003.

On 3/8/16 I had an appointment to have my vehicle repaired at the body shop. I show up to drop off my vehicle only to be told its going to be a week or longer before they actually work on it by Russell Mixon. I asked what the purpose of having an appointment with them if its not going to be worked on? Russell again just reiterated he can get my vehicle in just not work on it.I highly doubt the insurance company is going to pay for a rental car for it to just sit in the shop an not be worked on. I ended up leaving an will work on finding another body shop that can get me in on the day they say they will. Highly disappointed with this place.

I got in a wreck on May 23rd at the Rockwall Ford body shop, as I was leaving after getting an oil change. It was not drivable so I had to leave it there that day. a guy hit my front left fender and dented my hood along with that too. Russell was the one to give me an estimate on my car to give to the guys insurance and told me it would take about 2 weeks. Weeks go by and my car is not in the shop, still sitting in a parking spot because they had no stalls open and just told me that ill have to wait till one opens and he doesnt know when that will be. The guys insurance called russell to get answers from him so they could keep paying for my rental car they provided me and he repeatedly said i dont know, whenever a stall opens, i dont know, i dont know then hung up on them!! the insurance eventually stopped paying for my rental car because of that. Now its been over a month and my car gets into the shop to get looked at on June 28th. They finally finish and let me pick up my car on July 12th!!!!! just to fix the front fender... THEN after i get my car, there is a terrible noise everytime i turn my wheel, my tail lights went out and they broke off my antenna(and of course russell doesnt know what happened to that. and told me I would have to pay $110 to get a new antenna. i have never had a problem with either of those until i picked up my car from the shop. then they said they cant fix my lights bc one of the fuse is out and the noise is coming from the bushings which would cost $990 to fix. WHEN IT WASNT EVEN MY FAULT. then to check my lights, they opened the walls under my glove department and left everything open and on the ground when i picked it up. SO fed up with them, and i will never be going back again.

I recently took my durango for light replacement and dents removal I was very please with Shellby Great Costumer Service she walk the extra mile for me. I was updated every step of the way.I had no problems they took care of me I will definitely recommend this location for any collision matters. Thank You Ford Collison Center and Shellby Im very satisfied with the work done.
