Totally happy with my choice, they price was in line with the lower quotes that I received, their turnaround time was better that other shops, which was really helpful because it meant less time without my car. The transmission in our 2014 Ford Escape failed. I had it towed to Burns Ford of York. The car sat on their lot for 2 weeks before diagnosis and they said it would be another 4 weeks until they could repair it. I took it to Reliable transmission on a Thursday afternoon. Two hours later I had their diagnosis. The transmission was replaced and we had our car back on Tuesday (3) business days later. I would recommend them for sure. The two year warranty is a huge plus.

I had my transmission took to this shop thru another shop that Said they do good work and said that thats where they take all their transmissions repair needs, so i said okay i trust you and if you trust them cool, $3000 later i barely drove my truck after that out of pocket bill, i have two other cars plus you add on the pendemic year where my truck never moved and its NO WHERE NEAR 25,000 miles didnt even stratch the serface dont think the truck had 6000 miles on it after the transmission was so called repair BUT THE TRANSMISSION needs to be completely rebuilt now, HOW FROM SITTING. Now they want to charge me FULL PRICE For work i felt like never was fixed it was only patched up and if it was all brand new parts put in it how is it that the pump is bad with less that 6000 miles on it after the transmission was SO CALLED repaired dont think i would have made it to 25,000 if it was my only vehicle. i only had ONE oil change after the repair but since my truck was park and its past two years but LESS THAN 25,000 i must pay another $3000, I WILL NOT and youll never get my buisness again.

This is the place to go!! Replaced the torque converter on my 1999 F250. On time and on budget. They forgot to repair a leak I asked them to look at. Brought it back and they repaired it free of charge. They stand by their work and their word.

I was so pleased with the service. I called to get a quote on a clutch slave cylinder replacement and also a new clutch. They were able to get me in quickly and was able to get the part changed on time. They also found another part that needed to be replaced and did it. I will definitely continue to come here with all my transmission problems in the future.

They were friendly, they test drove & did computing diagnostic test on it & got an error message saying it was torque converter going bad; so they were honest about what was wrong - no pressure to get me in.

I was having a transmission problem and just needed to know WHAT and HOW MUCH. The transmission specialist diagnosed my truck accurately and with no diagnostic fee! I couldnt afford to get the issue fixed right then, and the specialist said I would be okay to drive my truck as is for a while longer until I am able to get it addressed! Usually, repairmen try to twist an arm into the service needed, and they DEFINITELY charge a diagnostic fee! I was so impressed that I tried to give $20 to buy him lunch or whateverhe wished, but he insisted I keep the money! Wow! So impressed!

Towing back to the Reliable Transmission shop was very good. I was having a problem with my transmission and they were very helpful and will fix the problem as soon as possible because I am a heart patient!.

November 2018 these wonderful people not only rebuilt my transmission, but handle all of the authorization with my insurance company. Because they have experience with dealing with the Auto Maintenance insurance companies, all I had to do was put in the claim and drop off my car. They took my calls with all of my concerns and assured me that everything was fine. I dropped my car off today to have my annual warranty maintenance and was met with a welcoming smile. A year ago, my son called me in a panic. The transmission in his Mercury Mariner had died in the middle of a busy Rock Hill intersection. Once he was rescued from the middle of the road, we faced the difficult task of finding somewhere to have the transmission repaired for a price we could afford. The first place I called offered a quote that would have broken the bank. So I reached out to friends through social media to see if anyone could recommend a place I could trust to do the work for a fair price. WOW!!! In all of my years I have never had a better experience. My transmission went out on me last September. Not being from the area I was lost and skeptical to say the least. I had a shop in Charlotte look at my vehicle and I wasn’t too confident in what I was hearing as far as price and warranty. Excellent experience with these folks.I called and spoke to them about what I wanted done and was quoted a price. About a week later, I called to schedule an appointment and was told to bring the vehicle in when they opened and I should get it back about lunchtime.They called 2.5 hours later to tell me the job was complete. Hello Im Khatur Ali I took my 2001 Yukon in to get my transmission fix on a Thursday and that Friday they called me and told me that my truck was ready. Only had a failing torque converter in my car, it’s very simple to test a situation like this. Reliable swore the transmission needed be rebuilt. $1600 and “3yr warranty”... 3mo later T/C having issues engaging again owner states “well it won’t shift smooth 100% it is old car”... I Don’t recommend and say don’t come here if you have a choice. These people will con you.

I am way overdue to give these guys a review! Long story short I cant recommend these guys enough!Last year my transmission went out on my 2005 Escape and my normal mechanic wanted a fortune to fully replace it. I called around for a second opinion and Reliable was recommended to me. They rebuilt the transmission for less than half the price, gave me a two year warranty, and even arranged my rental car at a discounted rate. They called to update me regularly while my car was in their shop and finished the work exactly on time. It sucked to have such a huge repair but they made a bad situation go as smoothly as one could hope.A few weeks later the car started making a new noise and I freaked out and brought it back in. Turns out the power steering fluid was low - this had absolutely nothing to do with the work Reliable did and everything to do with routine maintenance I should have been performing. They topped off the fluid, explained the problem, and then didnt charge me a thing for my stupidity.A year later I brought the car in for the yearly service required by the warranty and they remembered me and once again provided the most pleasant, punctual, and affordable service.
