Couple weeks ago they said they had no power. Iust needed a price on some tires. Just one thats all and I could figured out the rest. They would not help me out for anything in the world that day. The lady on the phone was very rude and nasty. I understand they might have had a power outage a couple hours before but gosh. Customer service was number one. How would everyone be working today if we were to go back to old school working. Thats what is wrong with this world today everyone relies on computers. My doctors office job when I live in NC when we lost power we went straight to old school working with paper and making sure we scan into the patients chart when the power did come back on or the next day. Just very unprofessional customer service and not called for. And walmart was closed when I got there for what the power was on and people was walking out of store with stuff they purchased so I know the computer was back up.
Tried to get a tire. Called said they open at 12. Showed up no one working guy says they waiting on someone to come in. This has happened a lot. Sat outside with several other vehicles until 1230. No one is answering phone at Fort Mill location either.
Everytime we try to get tires plugged or anything else they are always closed. Even when its not time for them to close. Online it says they close at 7 pm, the sign on the side of the building says 6pm they guy says oh no we close at 5. They need to make their mind up and show the same information everywhere. Very rude and unpleasant people to talk to. They dont care anything about working and it is obvious.
Staff member Jordan was very helpful and knowledgeable. In my time of need
Cant rate it, because it wasnt open until noon
Great service center
Battery was dead in car went and had it changed and was covered under warranty, quick and easy service they got me in and out
I came for tires and this group of workers are very friendly, efficient and know what they are doing. I would recommend them. Great job!
They do a great job over here, so much going on they always do a really wonderful job on my car even vacuum my carpet really well. One of the better Walmart Auto centers I have been to.
Made a quick run to Wal-Mart only to find out my car wouldnt start back up when I was about to leave. It was a few minutes before closing and Arthur was super nice and helped jump my car and installed a new battery. I have no idea what I wouldve done without him, William, Deon and the auto center crew. They saved my life and I am forever grateful. Great customer service!!!
Eternally understaffed. Run completely different from other Walmart Auto Centers I’ve been to. Made me pay for a new tire that caught something in it even though I had purchased the tire coverage they sell. Said “the hole was too big so it’s not covered”. At other Walmart’s when I catch a nail in my tire they look me up in the system, verify that I purchased the coverage, and put on a new tire.
I waited 2 hours for a basic oil change this morning because there were only 2 people working at the time. I was not informed about the expected wait and I didnt see that only 2 people were working until they already had my car. When I ended up paying no one apologized to me for the wait or anything. I wouldnt have minded coming back another day if they wouldve told me my wait was going to be long.
My wife went and had two tires put on, they tried to up-sell her various things that were unnecessary. Watching them through the glass, they were not in much of a hurry to get anything done. When they finally finished, they didnt put on any of the tire stem covers, one of the hubcaps were halfway on and the other was completely off, just barely hanging on. The second time was slightly better but still took a couple hours even though they were working on my car the whole time. Not only did they neglect install, they put two different sized tires on the car!!! The tires wore out within a year and were completely bald so I found out they have put two different sizes on when I had them changed at a more reputable company with a better quality (and only slightly more expensive) tire! I will not only recommend people go somewhere else, I would recommend that this place get shut down for unsafe practices. Stay away even if you don’t have much money to spend, it’s not worth being unsafe!
They take an unreasonably long time at this Walmart and make excuses for it. “I came in at 8 am” “We only have but so many people working” Something needs to be done to improve instead of accepting complaining customers. An oil change is 2 hours and a tire change 3+ hours. You have a bunch of lazy middle aged men who have clearly given up on life running this place. Not only that they are the managers. Invest in better talent Walmart because their laziness has spread and is only getting worse.
Saturday morning was pretty busy, and they only had two technicians on the floor. They did their best, but there should probably be more techs scheduled for opening hours on the weekend. Customer treatment was decent.
Waited all day for two batteries to be charged, got there to pick them up and only then they told me they had to replace them. BUT WAIT - they didnt have the batteries in stock necessary to replace them.
Absolutely terrible. This is by far the worst ran business in terms of product and customer service. I drove my truck up for an oil change and the tech threw up his arms and said Awww f*÷k, like I was bugging him.Drive up Celriver Rd and found Havoline Xpress. $24.99 for oil and filter, 34.99 for full service, in and out from start to finish in 15 minutes. Checked my fluids and air pressure when I got hom and everything was on point. You should seriously take training from these guys.
Do not use the auto department at all, especially with James hanging around. While Im sure some of the staff is competent, an employee named James in particular was incredibly rude, evasive. Customer service? Hah. Instead of explaining a problem, hed rather walk off and mutter under his breath than help a customer and would rather push problems off on other employees. Im afraid I will not be using this store again for my automotive needs with shady, rude and all around disgusting character such as him. Trust me folks, youll spend an hour just trying to get your car out of the shop due to ineptitude and sheer rudeness of their staff. Go to Tire Kingdom right down the road. Better service, better people and a professional attitude.
Wal-Mart, do something about your employees please! Thursday, May 10th between the hours of 12 and 2:30 pm several customers left and took there business else where, including my husband and I. From the waiting area you can sit and look out, all you could see was most of but not all the workers standing around talking for so long. What was really terrible was angry customers were taking out frustration on the wrong guy, who wasnt working the shop he was working the counter. It doesnt take 2 and half hours to change a battery especially if everyone in line a head of you left bc they were tired of waiti&g also!!
Expensive on tires and charge extra 16.50 per tire to put on. To many other great places around
Alot more than other stores. And for the guy who wrote about the rudeness of the employees. Some stores are like that. I worked at Walmart. My goal was to exceed the customers expectations. But the general attitude of the employees are nine times out of ten because of the managements attitudes toward the employees. Trust me I know. Management is horrible at Walmart when it comes to the treatment of employees. Yall just do not know what we went through. And what theyre going through. Just pay close attention in detail of how management talks to their employees. Well respective managers will most likely result in well treated customers. Thats for everywhere. Not just walmart. But I have seen what youre talking about. They are not that friendly. But again its management, not just the employees.
Check on the prices especially discounted items! As they forgot to put they discount price in the system and you and up paying the real price .. very frustrated !
Tire rotation took over 2 hours . Should be told this when you purchase plan . Only truck in at time . Glad I didnt have to wait in line .
They are walmart employees, of course they dont care!
Customer service is disrespectful and unprofessional. The manager doesn’t appear to care.
Went in for a oil change was told that there was one person who signed you in and that person was outside trying to talk with a young lady and followed the last inside while it was 2 people waiting outside to be signed up. After talking to lady 30 minutes he walked off. Now you have 3 people waiting for service. Horrible service on today no acknowledgement or anything . I left will take my business elsewhere.
Sorry place. I waited for 2 hours and they dont have a tire. Will never come back again!!!!!!! I hate walmart!!!!!!
Always a pleasant visit
Customer service 👎🏽
Nice
Cheap but lacking in customer service
