I’ve brought my car to get serviced here for the past 3 years. (It’s an older car with high mileage so I’ve had to bring it in several times for routine maintenance) They always have outstanding customer service and they are the most honest repair shop I’ve ever been to. These guys are solid and honest, and they helped make my stressful experience much easier.I hit a giant pothole that basically tore out my tire. I was pacing the grassy median making phone calls when a guy in a truck stopped check on me. He couldnt really do much to help, but when I asked him for a recommendation he told me he trusts Palmetto Tire on Cherry Road. It turns out I know a few people who take their cars here.David was really awesome and patient. After he gave me the initial quote, I asked him if he thought the car was worth fixing. He took a look and called me back and said that while he managed to dig around and get the price down a few hundred dollars (which was amazing) he told me that the underside was so rusty that it could end up costing more depending on how it went. They had a chance to make money off of me right there, but instead they were keeping my best interests in mind.I told him Id like to scrap the car and he told me how much the scrap place they work with would probably pay me for it. Id gotten a better offer from another scrap place, and when I told David he actually called their scrap place and got them to match the offer. Again, really amazing customer service for someone who is barely a customer.When I went to get my stuff out of the car, I didnt bring the right tools to take out my stereo and retrieve my sound hookup. They let me borrow the tool, and when I came back and told them it wasnt the right size, he came and took out the bolts for me and even gave me the right size to take off my license plate too, which Id totally forgotten about.They havent made any money from me and should be sick of me by now, but everyone has been really helpful and cool during the whole process. When I get another car, I feel really comfortable taking it there from now on. This whole experience should have been way more stressful than it actually was, and Im so thankful for having found them.

I was in need of a used tire to fit my Jeep which I did not drive to the shop. Spoke with a gentleman over the phone who quoted me 50.00 over the phone which was explained to be so much due to balancing and tire being in really good condition. When I got to the shop I was charged 64.00 to put tire on rim(not the vehicle) and balance tire. When asked about the difference in price, I was advised it was due to the balancing being 10.00 and the tire being 50.00 + tax. Pretty expensive for a used tire which wasnt even places on the vehicle. Ive never paid more than 50.00 for a used tire, ever. Or is this the going rate in 2021(purchased one for spare in November in Charlotte for 20.00 less) Needless to say 1st & last time giving them my business.

I was first in line at the register at 730; but when it came to being serviced, I was 5th line. So I left.

Took my car in for a second opinion after I was told I needed new brakes and rotors. Found out I didn’t need those thanks to Palmetto Tire’s honest and ethical work. Was able to buy two new tires on the spot and will definitely be back!

While they do need notice before you barge in, theyre super helpful and willing to work with your schedule. Two new tires and out in an hour! The gentleman at the desk was very good at small talk without being creepy (so if youre a lady and that stuff is exhausting, Id highly recommend coming here)10/10, Would have my bubbled tires replaced here again.

Top notch!!!! Rolled in on a totally flat tire when I was on my way to Florida. Guys worked it in and got me on the road right away even though they were slammed.

I kept getting flat tires and took my car to 2 other tire shops to have the tire replaced. When I took my car here, they found that the tires put on my car were too small. I had all new tires put on and havent had a flat tire in a year!! They are honest and attentive; instead of just fixing my flat, they trouble shooted the problem. My alignment job done here was the best Ive ever had (solid and lasted). I happily drive 30 miles to see these guys ... they are the BEST!!

This is one of VERY few reliable, HONEST, car repair places left. Everyone is amazing but Dave and Bubba are just the best. They are ALWAYS fair and honest and are not just trying to make a buck. Over 2 hr wait for oil change and they dont accept appointments and only one tech onsite at the time(415). Your in the busiest area of rock hill and you cant do better then that. I guess thats why i never went there after 20 yrs of being in rock hill i listened to everyone else about there service i just thought i would give it a shot living 5 mins away. Bad choice

A long time patron, my dad bought his black F150 to the shop this week and the car was not serviced (no attempts) and were given some BS reason as to why. needless to say, we took the vehicle to another local shop and it was repaired within 1hr. wow. re: palmetto, smells fishy. maybe we just didnt have the right look any more for this establishment. oh well. u live and learn. im done with them

I’m shocked I left my car at 8am & by 12pm it wasn’t started! I called earlier in the week so no surprise I was coming! Then I was ran down about paperwork! Last time I brought it, “No we don’t need it because it’s in the system!” Today “I need the paperwork!” If my tire wasn’t under warranty I would’ve paid for a new tire some where that took appointments because it’s almost 1pm and I still don’t have my car!

So nice and friendly! I live in Charlotte but Ill definitely be back here.

Got all four of my tires replaced by them. Asked for the warranty because I ALWAYS get the warranty!!!! I get a hole in my tire after only four months of having the tire and they are telling me they cant replace it because i didnt get the road protection. If someone is asking about a damn warranty dont you think thats what they are asking or at least explain the different warranty plans with your customers especially if they arent familiar with how tire services work!!!
