I cant say enough about my experience here. Absolutely wonderful. Justin is incredibly nice, helpful and full of knowledge. Tedious building my bow and explaining how everything works and adjusts. He answered all my questions and did so without having his nose stuck up to me because I was naive on the subject. No ego, no pressure and I couldnt be happier with my new Prime bow. The type of business/guy you really dont mind giving your money to! Recommend to anyone interested in getting into archery. Also, a great selection of used bows with excellent prices. Thanks Justin!
Not a very good place to go unless you bought your bow from him. The owner is not interested in helping you unless you purchased your bow from him. I went there with every intention of buying a new Mathews bow from him last year but he didnt have the one I wanted in stock. So I went to Barefoot Archery and bought it from those guys. A few days later I needed some accessories and went back to Southern Draw. The owner was not interested in helping me at all. First words out of his mouth was you didnt buy that bow from me when I walked in the door. No kidding. We spoke and you didnt have the one I wanted in stock. This is not an isolated incident. I have heard several other people have the same experience with this guy. His favorite thing to tell you if he doesnt want to help you is he doesnt have a bow press for your bow so he cant work on it. LOL. Sound familiar to some of you reading this if you went there and had the same experience. Of course he does he just isnt interested in helping you. You didnt buy it from him. Just happened to a friend of mine the other day. Just go to Barefoot Archery for your bow needs. Jessie will work on any bow. Doesnt matter the make, model or type. From the smallest adjustments to major work. Even if you didnt buy the bow from him. He will do it all to help you out as a bow shop should. I live in Rock Hill 5 mins from this place and I will drive to Charlotte to pass this place buy.
One of the best bow buying experience Ive ever had. Justin takes the time to make sure everything is set up right and your happy with it before you leave. He actually cares about doing the best job.
Just a great place customer service is amazing. This guys are very helpful and very informative as needed
Justin is great. Always takes his time to help out and answer questions. Best all around archery knowledge in the area. Fun 3D course behind the shop too.
Awesome little archery shop! New and preowned brand name bows. Experienced and knowledgeable sales and service. You can shoot before you buy. My last purchase was a preowned Mathews Creed XS with new strings, a ring peep, quiver, stabilizer, QAD, and HHA sports single pin sight for $500. Also bought arrows (sized and cut by service ), luminocks, and a release. There’s a large 3D target range along a trail in the woods just behind the shop.
Justin is very knowledgeable and takes time to help you! Worth the drive!
This place is fantastic. The owner is top notch, friendly, and knows more about bows than I could ever. I highly recommend this place over anywhere I’ve been.
Help me set up my new spot hog fast Eddie XL 2 pin site and qad arrow rest with the American flag would definitely recommend for anybody in this area they also have a huge outdoor range for $5 all day!
Fantastic shop and service! Justin set up my Bowtech Reign 7 like a champ. He took me through all the ins and outs and made sure all the components were fitted to me (unlike some other shops Ive been to) once the single pin was set for 20 he showed me how set the other ranges up before final tape application.Very happy with the whole experience. I live in Charlotte and have no problem making the hike to Rock Thrill. Ill definitely be back!
Everyone who works here is super knowledgeable and very friendly. It can be intimidating as a woman to go into a store that revolves around a sport that is male dominated. The guys were very patient and helped me out with getting my first bow setup. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable shooting my new bow. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or like I didn’t belong. I highly recommend this shop!
Southern Draw Shop is the place to visit if you love archery on all its forms.Justin set me up a new Matthews bow no cam in no time. The outdoor range is great for some 3D practice. And every single product they sell is top of the line.I highly recommend this shop.
This shop is awesome I have bought all by bows here with Justin answering any crazy question I had about them. Justin even set a bow up for my son just to see if he would like it thats pretty awesome customer service if you ask me.
Awesome experience! Only Prime retailer in the area and gave me some real feedback on the comparable bows. Justin knows his stuff and was extremely accommodating when it came to setting my bow up and staying after hours since I was coming from my own job. This shop is more focused on quality products rather than pushing junk out the door.
These guys are great. They have a large selection of merchandise, and know how to set up and tune a bow. I’ll definitely be coming back. Worth the trip.
Good prices for the outdoor range. Very friendly people.
This is a bow shop that wants to help you out and not just sell you something.I came to compare my current bow with a few of the new bows. Justin made sure everything was exactly the same poundage and draw length as I compared. This took a lot of time and effort. I ended up keeping my old bow but with Justins knowlege he changed things to make my old bow shoot better. You get a lot good of bow experience helping you out at Southern draw archery and I highly recommend this place.
The best! Period. So happy I found Justin and this bowshop.
Went in there last season to get some work done on my bow because of string twist. The tech wouldnt even look at it. His excuse was, Thats why we dont sell those strings. Sportsman is 10 minutes from this place and always has fantastic customer service.
Super folks. Always helpful and knowledgeable.
Great service
Good prices for the range. Unfortunately, no service for traditional equipment.
Very helpful
