I honestly can’t say enough about the quality of service that is offered at Illuminating Expressions. The attention to details, information, suggestions, and follow up, by far, surpassed any of the other lighting stores we had gone to. The decision to work with them was easy. I personally worked with Margaret and Kelsey who were exceptional, but all are very qualified in the store. If you are building a house or remodeling I strongly encourage anyone to work with them!

My husband myself and our daughter went in midweek around four Margaret greeted us with a very inviting hello. We told her that we wanted dusk to dawn LED outdoor lights. After a brief consultation she showed us what was in house and we viewed a catalog. The selection wasn’t huge but what they had was unique and beautiful. I’m glad we stopped in I will be back for my kitchen bed and dining rooms.

Highly recommend! Illumating Expressions has a very well curated selection of lighting fixtures. More importantly their staff is wonderful! After a frustrating morning shopping the other lighting stores in Rochester, the biggest one and the oldest one, I was feeling ready to give up and just order something on Amazon. I called Illuminating Expressions and talked with Joey, who listened to my needs and encouraged me to come in. Once there, I was met by Margaret who was genuinely interested and engaged in my lighting needs and had already picked out a couple of things that would work perfectly. Also, I should say, I was on a deadline... my contractor was finishing up that week and I needed a new light fixture asap. Margaret was willing to let me buy something right off the floor, the other stores were not. Once I made my selection, she had me take it home (on loan)and make sure it was right before charging my card. Guess what? It is perfect! And I have no doubt Margaret and Joey would have hung in there with me to find perfect if it wasnt. If you are looking to be actually helped and listened to AND see the the best selection of light fixtures in Rochester, this is the spot.

Excellent customer service. I emailed the owner and she got back to me right away. Id been looking for a lamp shade for months and she found it for me. It wasnt a big sale but she followed up and delivered. Kudos to Joey!!!
