I had my laptop repaired for a good price, recieved some very helpful advice. My ticket was responded to within 15 minutes, and there wasnt a wait for my repair. It was a pretty good experience overall.

Today, 6/9/2021, I experienced something that is rare, I met Brian, someone that is very smart with computer repairs and also a very good human being. I had a computer issue, so I hopped on the web and called around, and was referred to Crossroads IT. I called Crossroads IT and got Brian, talked with him about my issue, he listened and asked me to bring in the computer so he can take a look to see what needs to be done. I brought in my computer, he took a look and worked to fix the issued. I asked him “how much”, and he said “don’t worry about it, I barely spent time on it”. Then I reached inside my pocket and pulled out some cash, more money to cover lunch plus, to show my appreciation. He said “C’mon man’ don’t worry about it. I’m writing this review because Brian was genuinely interested in fixing the issue and not about making money. His willingness to solve the problem first before the money piece gives me hope about humanity, and for that I am highly recommending Crossroads IT for their IT work, as well as for putting people ahead of money. So this morning my desktop wasnt able to turn on. and I found Ryan, he diagnosed for just a second and found there is problem with the power cord. It works perfectly after he gave a new one. I had just built my first PC, and I made the rookie mistake of not testing the monitor before putting my motherboard in the case. I connected with Ryan over Yelp, he responded quickly and haf lots of availibity for us to connect. He quickly diagnosed my problem, explained caused in a way that was easy to understand and installed Windows for me. Would reccomend him over other specialists in my area. 10/10 customer service. Effective communication, honesty, and understanding. I was always updated on what was going on. He knows what he is talking about when it comes to electronic parts. He managed to fix my damaged cpu pins that were jammed in the motherboard. Price was reasonable. Most definitely will come back without hesitation if I’m having any problems with any of my electronics.

My roommates and I have had multiple hardware builds and fixes go through Crossroads IT and Ryan has been so friendly and kind and incredibly helpful! Cant recommend him enough!

Incredibly Impressed! 10/10Often in service situations, especially tech ones, its common to feel talked down to especially if you are female. Ryan always treated me as his equal in the conversation and respected my input. Phenomenal service with a fast turn around. Ryan very clearly explained everything and happily gave advice on other unrelated computer issues. The price was far more reasonable than other shops in the area. The best part was CrossRoads was able to fix my computer in one day, whereas MicroWorx wouldnt have even been able to look at it for another 4 days. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic service! During the Covid crisis, my home computer had a busted fan and was beginning to overheat. I saw the reviews for Ryan and Crossroads IT and figured I would try to see if he could help. Ryan was extremely helpful right from the start! He was able to order the required part for me and install it within 6 days of me calling him! He took time out of his Sunday to go to the office and within an hour and a half had my computer fully repaired! He even upgraded my hard drive and applied thermal paste which has drastically improved my laptop performance. The entire time Ryan was very patient and knowledgeable even through my many many questions. Ryan did all this for a much much much more than reasonable price. The money i spent was more than earned by Ryan and I will 100% be doing continued business with him in the future. I was very thrilled to have Ryan help me with my computer issues this week until he alerted me after I had paid 50 bucks for data retrieval for my computer, which I thought was dead, was not necessary because my system was fine and just had my charger port blocked with something that got in it. I could have saved some money if he had checked my system throughly instead he quickly looked at it and made a decision that my computers mother board was dead. I do not like the fact that I paid for that before knowing what was truly wrong with my computer. I would have let this go but I asked him if he knew how I could improve my computers performance and he said I could add more RAM because my PC only had 4 GB. He added 8 GB of RAM to my PC for 60 plus tax and he did not even check how much I had on my PC in the first place because I already had 8 GB and now I have 16 GB which is unnecessary and he basically told me he could give me a discount on my next visit. I appreciated all his work but I feel like I could have saved a lot more if things were checked more throughly. Lastly, when I got home with my PC it seemed that my user profile was signing me into a temporary profile and I could not access my files without them not saving each time I logged on and off. I contacted him about it but he could only send me a link to how to solve it. After hours of attempts to fix it I realized my profile is corrupted and I need to manually transfer my files to a new profile. He was unfortunately out of office and would not be back until Sunday which I could not wait till then because I am a student and needed my files in order to do my assignments. I was really disappointed because I had hopes for this place but I had to end of going to another place last night for help. Computer Service Specialists Of New York were great to work with and are fast. They were able to solve my issue with my computer overnight and now I have a running system and profile again. I liked Ryans personality but I dont think it was what I was looking for. Thanks though for helping me with my initial issue.************************************************************************Ryan issued me a swift refund and apologized for the inconvenience. Give this guy Ryan your business! At a moments notice, he looked at my laptop right in front of me to diagnose what was wrong and give me a estimated time frame. He found it wouldnt take too long to fix, so he did it right then and there. Everywhere else told me it would at least be a few days before they even looked at it. Great guy and great service.

My experience with Ryan was incredible. Im a college student and had my SSD crash right before I needed to start classes. He was able to diagnose the problem, and did everything he could to recover my files. I had a million questions and Im sure I was acting pretty distraught (who wouldnt after losing months and months of work and files??) -- but he took it all in stride, responding calmly and explaining everything clearly. Ryan was unable to recover my files with the tools he had on site, but directed me to a more specialized data recovery service, all for no charge. He installed a new SSD and had my laptop functional again within 24 hours, just in time for me to start classes, and at super reasonable prices.

I purchased a Rog Strix PC on Amazon for about 1100 dollars. It came with a single fan 1650 TI that ran loud and hot. The CPU was a Ryzen 3700x with a Wraith Prism cooler. The CPU was running hot and fans were loud. The PSU that came with it was 500w. I replaced the Wraith Prism with a Noctua LP cooler. I also replaced the card with a 2060 Twin Fan Zotac and a new Asus 165 mhz refresh rate monitor. With all these upgrades, my PSU could not handle it. Also, my motherboard had issues such as broken sensors (CPU temp -99 and MB 126) and sleep mode would not work. My PC would occasionally reboot unexpectedly with a Power Kernel 41(63) error. I used to deal with LyteSpeed, but had a terrible experience there. Since that time, they no longer do retail services anyway.I admittedly took a chance on Crossroads IT LLC based on user reviews. Im glad I did! The first time I met Ryan, he was pleasant and professional. He listened to what I said and offered me solutions. Never did he make me feel stupid or talk over my head. I wanted an x570 micro ATX board and a new PSU. He chose a Corsair 850w PSU and Asrock 570M Pro board. The new Ryzen 5000 series chips are out so I can purchase one in the future with this board. Ryan commented on how poor air circulation was on this PC. He recommended replacing the exhaust Chassis fan for better air flow. Temperatures used to be over 80 with GPU and sometimes over 90 CPU. I had to leave side panels off while gaming. Airflow is much better now with GPU usually in the 60s and CPU 60s-70 and rarely above 80 with panels on. With the new PSU I can now purchase either a new AMD or Nvidia GPU without worrying about incompatibilities or lack of power requirements. Ryan said it would take a week or sooner depending on how fast it would take to get the parts. It took exactly a week. Dropped it off on a Tuesday, got it back the following Tuesday. Including labor, total cost was less than 500 dollars.I believe Ive finally learned my lesson-If you are looking to buy a new gaming PC, order the parts yourself. If you cant put it together, pay someone like Ryan to do it. Do not buy a pre-built. Thanks, Ryan!

Ryan spent considerable time patiently and knowledgeably answering all my questions when I was trying to decide whether to buy a new laptop or upgrade my current laptop to Windows 10. When I decided to upgrade, he did it quickly, and in just one day, I had my laptop back. It works perfectly!

I had a desktop that was having numerous issues, and I couldnt figure out the solution for the life of me. I spent hours trying different things to get it to work and nothing was a permanent fix. I finally decided I was going to need some help with it. I called Crossroads based on their convenient location, and their online reviews which were all very positive. After a very extensive diagnosis and problem solving period, Ryan was able to tell me what was wrong with my computer, and fix it with ease. He went out of his way to make sure everything was working correctly after the initial fix, and said to let him know if I was having any issues. Ryan cares about his work, and his clients, and it shows for sure. He would contact me after the fact to make sure everything was working correctly, he would answer any questions I had quickly, and would not hesitate to answer random questions I had about other devices of mine, no matter the time of day. Ryan is a wonderful service provider, and I would recommend him over any other computer solution company 100%.
