Cute nonprofit cafe supporting an awesome cause (women in recovery from addiction). Great homemade food and drinks and locally roasted coffee. Lots of seating indoor and out. Live music some nights on weekends. Not too busy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Coffee Connection. We sat in the open-air greenhouse area. The canopys kept us nicely shaded while the coverless roof allowed a refreshing breeze to keep us comfortable. I will have to try the beautifully furnished inside area when the weather gets cooler. We actually had a business meeting (2 people) and found it to be quite conducive to talking shop, all the while being sourounded by flowers and growing vegetables. So very relaxing. Our heads were clear (or was it the delicious double espresso shots?) so it was easy to focus. The only thing that struck me as a little odd was that the barista was surprised that I just ordered espresso all by itself. No big deal. Customers there must mix it with their coffee a lot.Bottom line, I highly recommend Coffee Connection as a place for a serene cup of coffee.

The Greenhouse Cafe is open again ! They have great coffee and supports a great cause. On some Fridays there is live music, local art hangs on the walls. The place has a trendy organic vibe thats hard to beat. I love to sit in the back patio/greenhouse/ garden area, its a great place to relax over lunch/ coffee with friends.

I went here to listen to some live music. While there I learned about the mission of this place. They are not for profit and help former drug addicted and abused women. I dont drink coffee, however I hear that their coffee is among the best in Rochester. I will try some for friends who drink it. I had tea and a blueberry muffin. There staff was very friendly and casual. I would be happy to return for another visit.

This place is a diamond in the rough! My husband and I were visiting the area for a few days and had stumbled across the other location (on South Ave) and loved it - the mission, the coffee, the atmosphere! So we decided to check out the other location before we headed home.Tammy was SO sweet, helpful, and made our experience all the better! The food was DELICOUS!!!!!We brought home some gluten-free fresh baked snacks and decided to support thowr amazing mission by purchasing some T-shirts and a cool coffee tumbler. My husband and I are both recovering addicts (with over 10 yrs of sobriety each) and feel that local missions like this need to be supported. We cant wait to fo back and visit again!

Whether you sit outside in front of the cafe, inside at a table, in a lounge chair by the fireplace or inside of the greenhouse this cafe is cozy. The coffee and snacks are good, the environment is welcoming, and learning about the organization is interesting. The cafe on South Ave is also worth a visit.

This is a nonprofit shop run by women who are facing addiction. I happened to be there when there was a meeting of the full staff and was absolutely inspired by their attitudes, passion for the business, and support of one another. This is such a wonderful concept and something that could be more broadly utilized throughout the entire community.

Drinks are very high quality but a little on the pricy side for what they are. Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly.Service was incredibly slow when I was there and I would warn against the soups as they arent very flavorful. The staff was kind enough to give us replacement sandwiches which was an unexpected surprise.Id go back for the drinks and atmosphere.

This cafe helps empower women in addictions recovery (very cool!) with Fair Trade coffee/products from Central America (probably very cool!) in a cozy, quaint, 2nd wave coffee house inside of a GREENHOUSE. Good idea yet horrible owner. This Christian minister just cant get it right. She has a motley crew... the few good employees get burned out my all the mismanagement. Broken cooler upstairs hasnt been fixed in a very long time, roaches in the basement kitchen that she hasnt had exterminated, and such issues. instead on running one location really well and making a profit she has several where she robs Peter to pay Paul. Volunteers and employees relapse, steal, and bickering over staff and management duties. She does nothing to empower these women in recovery. Instead she uses them to promote her needs for funds and support to people she has lined up that she feels she can get money out of. Its a Christian ministry hustle to make her look like a Mother Teresa. She got funding but who knows where that went because she was several months behind on her lease and telling paid employees to wait to cash their check! Also she pays them just enough so they still qualify for food stamps. Yet prides her self saying she empowers them. She cant rise them above the level of poverty. Instead she is teaching them to hustle the system and be ever depending on the system. There are never any profits to reinvest into the several café or empower the women who work and volunteer there. Also Joy isnt local... she was brought in to try and revive a failing Pittsford church with her husband. So who knows how long she will stay because she isnt investing in Rochester to her the company is a Hobby she does to try and get Kudos.
