When I called to get my Jeep in, I was told they were booked but they will look at it asap which they not only looked at it, I needed a new water pump and it was completed before the end of that day which was so convenient. Also the cost was very fair and there is a cappuccino machine, k-cup coffee, and chips to enjoy. Everything is new, clean and high tech. I will be back as needed and highly recommend.

I cannot praise Rochester Auto Care enough for their outstanding service and caring attitude. On Saturday, my vehicle had the wrench light go on, as well as the check engine light. The car would lose power, and I would have to stop the car, and restart it to get going again. Highly dangerous while I was driving on I 90. My husband was just discharged from Mayo Clinic after being admitted for several days after an emergency. We live 5 hours away, and I need to get my husband to future appointments, and ultimately home. When I called in the afternoon on Saturday, Todd told be to come over immediately, and Justin, a superb mechanic, read the codes. They could get the part, and get installed that day. Justin not only did the repair, he took the car on a test drive and rechecked the codes to make sure that it fixed the problem. Both Todd and Justin stayed late to get me mobile again, and I so appreciate it! Todd even texted me this morning to see if the car was ok. And for you mechanic types out there, Justin replaced the throttle body. It was done when I needed it, and at a really fair price. They are outstanding!

Todd and the other mechanics at Rochester Auto Care have been God’s blessing to me. I am a military spouse and was at my husband’s overseas assignment when military doctors felt I needed to see expert doctors at the Mayo Clinic. I needed a car but didn’t have much money. My budget was $4,000 and it needed to be a SAFE car because I couldn’t return to my husband’s overseas assignment between appointments that were separated my months. I had to find away from Minnesota to Texas, Texas to Minnesota, Minnesota to Iowa and back to Minnesota. That’s thousands of miles put on a $4,000 car. They went and picked up the car from the seller for me Todd’s mechanics checked out the car I was buying, acted as a buyer’s agent/mechanic since I know nothing about cars. They changed the oil quickly so I could leave the day I bought the car so I could quit paying for the expense of a hotel room. The car has been reliable and comfortable for the long journeys! I know God used Todd and his mechanics to help ease the stresses of serious health condition and being a military spouse nomad while waiting on Mayo Clinic appointments. Thank God for mechanics that care! I would not hesitate to call Rochester Auto Care for every auto need. It’s the best service I have ever gotten from mechanics, I trust them! And, you can trust them! They even fixed little things like the car fab. I am happy with the service and very happy the price! They were very, very, very reasonable! This experience has been worthwhile. Not many people know a Hyundai Genesis track model and I dont blame them. It is a rare car. I came to this team because of a suspension issue (horrible clanking knocks over every bump on the road). If anyone has dealt with shock/suspension issues, you can understand the headaches of the systems. It is complicated. These guys got it DONE! He even researched my rare/weird car to find the proper parts. I am thankful for this company existing. They do work at great prices. Their shop is clean and ordered. I am SO grateful to the kind people at Rochester Auto Care. Our pickup truck (towing a camper (!)), broke down in Rochester on our way to Yellowstone. We called and they said to come right over. Even though it was nearly 5pm on a Saturday, they took the time to give us a diagnostic and a loaner car. They fixed us right up, hooked our camper up to electrical so our food didnt go bad, and even helped reload the camper when we were ready to leave. Who does that? They made a frustrating situation so much better, got us on the road, and I remembered that there are indeed good people in the world. Thanks Guys!!!

I took my SUV into Rochester Auto Care due to low tire pressure. Justin inspected my tire and found that there was a nail. Unfortunately for me I needed a new tire. Justin and Todd ordered me a brand new tire at 4PM that day. I was impressed to find out that the tire was delivered and put on the next day!! The facility was clean, organized, and the staff is great! I would highly recommend Rochester Auto Care for all your vehicle needs!!

Much better service and WAY more informative than taking my car to the dealership like Ive been doing. They spoke with me about issues that came up in my inspection (I came in for an oil change and my battery failed its test) and even threw in a few freebies. It was timely and priced more reasonably than other places Ive used, plus both guys are very friendly and approachable.

I highly recommend them for repair. I was leery of a go to mechanic I felt I could trust not to make recommendations beyond what I need. I felt they did not take advantage, and the work was done quick. Im happy to have a place I can trust like that. Shuttle service, and convenient. Ask for Todd!

I brought my car in for a diagnostic appointment when it was acting up. The facility was comfortable with provided beverages and snacks, the staff was very informative, friendly, and included me while looking up the placement part I needed. It was Friday evening, around 5:30 pm, and they closed at 6:00 pm, and they told me I would need a replacement part for my car. They had the needed part on hand, and installed it that night, even though they needed to stay past 6:00 pm. I was very impressed and will definitely go there in the future. Highly recommend!!

Recently brought my 2012 Malibu in for a set of tires. The tires were not in stock so Todd at Rochester Auto Care ordered the exact tires I wanted and even sent someone to pick them up! Above and beyond! This alone made me bring in our other vehicle, 2013 Caddiliac SRX to get a set of tires and front brakes done. Prices were very cheap and I would say that I experienced a dealership level Service without the cost! I will continue to bring all of our vehicles here!

Best shop around, I’ve always been hesitant to bring my vehicle into a shop but not anymore! 01 Acura CL went in for tires and a wheel bearing, during the Thorough inspection the mechanic noticed that the rear brakes were worn badly so we got those replaced he also noticed the cabin air filter was dirty and replaced that. They checked everything, went above and beyond what I expected and also kept me updated through out the process! Highly knowledgeable and friendly

I didnt want to tow it all the way back home so I had to take a chance and pick a local auto repair place. I looked at reviews and called a few places. I called Todd at Rochester Auto Care and he was very helpful on the phone and gave me confidence that I could trust him. After he and his team diagnosed the issue, I ended up needing a complete engine replacement. I wanted a low mileage used engine and Todd did the work to find a solid replacement engine at a fair price. He also did a great job at keeping me updated about the progress of the work - texting me pictures, calling me, etc. I got the car back about a week ago and it runs great! Todd and the team at Rochester Auto Care really took care of me. I give them my highest recommendation!

I brought my car in to Rochester Auto Care for the first time today (1/6/2020) for an oil change and checkup. Turns out my front brake pads (disc brakes) were worn down to 2 mm and the rotors needed replacement too. A quick Google search told me consistently that 3.2 mm is considered the bare minimum for safety and that brake pads should be replaced when they are between 6.4 mm and 3.2 mm thick. Letting brake pads get too thin can cause damage to the rotors and potentially the rest of the brake system. NO ONE ELSE noticed until now that my brakes were dangerously worn down. They were probably still okay (barely?) when I got new tires at Adamsons in November 2018, but I took my car to Virgils for regular maintenance twice in 2019 since then, and Virgils totally missed this! Looking back over my invoices from 2019, Virgils didnt even look and neither did the Toyota dealership when they checked things over during my air bag replacement (due to recall again) a month ago! I can understand the Toyota dealership not checking the things that require disassembling anything, but Virgils has no valid excuse. Im done with Virgils. Theyve screwed up too many times now.Im bringing my car to Rochester Auto Care from now on. R.A.C. has done good work on my parents cars, too ... they noticed mouse damage that was clearly from a long time ago on Dads cabin air filter, which no one else had found (or checked, evidently). These guys check everything! The manager, a friendly guy named Todd, says that all of the mechanics are master-certified professionals and they dont cut corners. I can believe that. He showed me a checklist of everything they examine during a normal oil change service, and its a well-organized long list. Very impressive.Last but not least, R.A.C.s prices are very good. Google says that a brake job costs around $300-800 (or $1000+ if things are in bad shape), with an average of about $450. Rochester Auto Care charged me just slightly over $300 for the brake job (parts and labor combined -- I should note that this was a fairly straightforward replacement with no damage to repair, luckily), and $30 (before discount coupon) for the oil change. The average price of an oil change, according to Google, is $46, which is close to what Virgils used to charge before their prices went up over $50 with the new management. Saving $16+ on an oil change and a few hundred dollars on a brake job is a BIG DEAL! I have to wonder how R.A.C. can give such low prices and still pay their master mechanics the appropriate rate for their skill level!All in all, I highly recommend Rochester Auto Care. Id give them 10 stars if I could!Edit: Forgot to mention, you can book your appointment online on their website, and it shows the prices for really common stuff (oil change, rotate tires, and alignment) right there on the site before you even click Book It. Now THAT is transparency about prices!! Ive never seen anything like that anywhere else.
