Always have had great service at Tom Kadlec Kia when needing work done on my Sorento. Jason always is clear in his communication, honest, and accommodating. On this last trip I had an issue will my shifter not working and they were able to diagnose the issue, along with a few other things that were covered under my warranty. They were able to get the parts in, fix the initial issue as well as the other things before they became an issue in the future and on top of that, left my car clean and neat and even found and put back my shift release button that I put in my center console and reattached my cell phone mount that had fallen off a couple days before that I just never got around to putting back up. Those little things were definitely noticed and not expected!
This was a purchase found online through another site. But I decided to take a leap and work directly with the dealership. Boy I am glad I did. Mike Danielson was amazing. Really went above and beyond in the sales process. Because the location was over 2 hours away for me he was able to take all kinds of pics and was very detailed in every little possible thing. Made me feel like I was right there. The sales team here was just the best I have ever worked with. Quoted a no nonsense price and that was that. Didnt jack around with the sale price or try to add this that and the other thing. Seriously was in and out with keys and paperwork done in 30 minutes. I have been researching electric vehicles for a while and heard there was an electric car display at the Farmers market, so I decided to attend and get the opinions of actual EV owners and learn from their experiences. Stopped in just to look at the new Seltos and Mike Danielson happened upon us and asked if we had any questions. He heard what I was looking for in a new vehicle and suggested the Sportage. After a quick test drive he sat down and ran numbers with different scenarios for purchasing. It was super nice to have all the information laid out to look at. The process was super easy!
I was disappointed that my 2017 Kia Sportage had Front Caliper issues already at 32,000 miles. It seems like this part(s) must be defective for that few of miles to be on them, but luckily they were covered under the KIA bumper to bumper warranty. The caliper issue lead to brake pads and rotors needing to be replaced, which were not covered under warranty is is a bummer of a deal.However I am thankful that the mechanics at Tom Kia recognized the issues and made me aware of them while my car was torn apart for the Calipers. They were also helpful in making sense of what was covered and what was not with my warranty and extended warranty. Overall experience with Service at Tom Kadlec was excellent.

One of the few dealers in MN that charges over MSRP on the Telluride, $10k over MSRP is what they told me. Thats disgusting from an ethics standpoint and even one of the two the sales guys I spoke with said he strongly disagreed with the practice. I will never do business with them in the future, even if they somehow end up being the best value.
Took me forever to get around to writing this review from my Purchase back in March 2020... The dealerships service department incorrectly serviced this vehicle before sale including but not limited to not: replacing windshield wipers even though it was claimed they did on their CarFax report, Replacing the engine air filter with the wrong part causing irreparable damage to the filter housing, replacing the cabin Air filter with the wrong part. Photos are attached showing a new wiper blade compared to the one on the car, (Note: There is NO rubber on the wiper blade they allegedly replaced, streaking was noticed on the test drive as it was raining that day, I note it to the salesman but they refused to change it noting that they already swapped it themselves.) The engine air filter is also shown next to the correct filter on the left. Any technician would have noticed this difference in filter and flagged this as the wrong part, but instead, they forced it into the filter housing clearly distorting the case and also not creating a full seal, meaning that this was allowing un-filtered air into the engine. The same goes for the cabin air filter which needed to be distorted to fit into the cabin air filter housing (as shown in photos of the cabin air filter)I attempted to reach out to the dealership multiple times most recently April 15th attempting to reach their service manger after talking with a service advisor two other time. The first service advisor informed me that he was going to take my information direct to the service manager and have them call me back. after no reply, I called back again and the second advisor told me to call the manager line directly, I left a voicemail for the service manager at that time with no reply.The issue was simple, and a solution was even easier. The parts they received were for a 2017 Crosstrek, and my vehicle was a 2018. This error was likely on the part of Napa Auto Parts, Though the service technician should have been able to identify that these parts were NOT the correct parts and stopped right there to verify fitment, to that, I will fully place blame on their technician. I called and simply asked them to replace the parts with the correct ones, or better for me as I did not wish to make the 3 hour round trip, reimburse me for the cost of the correct parts from Napa and Subaru. (An offer which still stands)Given their lack of reply, and similar feedback from other vehicle owners, they do not appear to prioritize accurate representation of their vehicles (By reporting that they replaced items on their CarFax report without actually doing so) or careful service of their used vehicle fleet. With a clear disregard for the used vehicles, I can imagine that the new vehicles are also not well cared for, seeing as they all go into the same garage for repair.I would welcome a reply from Tom Kadlec Kia explaining this lack of reply and technician common sense and I am still open to reimbursement for the parts I needed to replace.

Their service department is fast and thorough. They always have available appointments when needed and the whole service team is kind and polite. Jason especially is very professional and honest. I was in the process of looking at cars as I needed an upgrade for my newest family member whose car seat would not fit into my Jeep. I walked into Kia thinking and pretty much knowing I wanted a Telluride. Anthony Gideo helped me look at all my options. I was stuck at work until 5pm but he allowed me to send him everything I needed and when I arrived to the dealership he even had the second car option waiting out front for me to test drive. I got in with my son and we went out on a test drive in a Sorento. I got back and Anthony was right there waiting to assist. We sat down talked numbers for a brief minute and then I was in the finance office shortly after. I spent a total of 1.5 hours at the dealership which was so awesome since I had my 3 year old with me. Brennan with finance helped me, and he was a sweetheart as well. While I was in the finance office, Anthony went and had the car cleaned up and filled with gas. When I was done with everythingAnthony walked me out to my new car and even helped me take all the stuff out of my old car and put it nicely into my new Sorento! He then walked me through the highlights of my car and sent me away! This was truly the best car experience I have had and will definitely go back to Anthony for any future needs. Jeff Nelson made my first-time car buying experience a great one. I went in with an idea of what I wanted in a car, but was skeptical that I would actually be able to attain it. Jeff laid out all my options, keeping my goal in mind. He never made me feel pressured into anything. And was a great sport about answering my millions of questions. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be able to drive a brand new vehicle. He perfectly explained the ins and outs of financing and what I could expect from it. I live 3 hours from this dealership and they are advertising a certified Kia Sedona SX. I worked with Chuck Mix to begin the purchase process 2 days ago. I took vacation to drive up and complete the purchase today, but I discovered about $4k in undisclosed damage to the vehicle upon my arrival. The vehicle was also not washed or cleaned out. I had made an appointment for 2pm this afternoon. Here are the attached pictures of some of the damage. The passenger side rocker panel is dented, creased, and rusting the length of the panel, there are 2 grapefruit sized dents with scratches on the roof, the rear bumper is dented, and there were multiple paint scuffs on the vehicle.. There was also yellow paint splatters on the front and down the drivers side that I did not take pictures of. I spent $50 in fuel, 6 hours driving,, and a half day of vacation to complete the transaction which the dealership falsely claimed is certified. The salesman lied about the paint on the front of the vehicle and did not disclose any of the damage. Please do not trust anything they say, and inspect the vehicle with a fine tooth comb.5/29/2020 Added the pictures, so everyone can see the paint splatter on the front and the text from the salesman show that he said it was just dirt. See where the dealer has claimed that they called me which isnt true. They also claim that I wanted everyone fired. Please see the text string.6/4/2020 Again this dealership is claiming that Im exagerating or lying in some way. I dont have anything to gain by helping others gain perspective from my experience other than a hope that someone else would post the truth as well. The dealer isnt addressing that they advertised this as certified and there was major damage to multiple areas. The certified Kia program ensures that their isnt damage to a used vehicle. Clearly there is damage. They admit that. The pics show it. They are working hard to paint me in a bad light. They have lied about calling me. They lied about me trying to get them fired. The salesman lied about the paint on the front of the vehicle. They are either falsely advertising certified vehicles or incompetent at certifying them.If they wanted to define how bad the damage was, they would post a quote for a repaired and resprayed roof, repaired and repainted rocker, replaced rear bumper, and paint removal for the front bumper from a 3rd party to bring it to a certified standard. I have a feeling they wont though.
Ok purchase. Had high miles on it. Devlin sales manager nicely offered to help pay for the issue I had the next day with the vehicle I just bought which helped. I also talked with Skyler a financial manager I knew from Rochester Motor Cars and he helped talk with me about the issues I had with the vehicle I bought.

I had always heard those ads on the radio about, putting you in a nicer newer vehicle It just seemed to good to be true. So, instead my husband found a vehicle on Tom Kadlecs used car page. The only suggestion he told me was to buy something I like to drive and gave me a price point. From the moment he clicked on a vehicle to test drive to the final signature on the paper, both Luke (sales), John & Darin (finance) walked me through the entire process. Very friendly, very helpful and understanding when it came to buying a vehicle. No pressure!

He didn’t pressure me into anything I didn’t want. I walked out of there with a 2020 Kia Forte. The payments are lower a month than what my old car was! My wife and I bought a new kia here. The sales man Jeffery Nelson was awsome to work with. We had our mind set on a smaller economy car. After driving we decided it wasnt for us. He had no problems letting us check out and drive various other models. Thier was no push, and he was very helpful. He ran several sheets to show us payment options on each vehicle. After helping us find a perfect vehicle we had a small wait in the waiting area. We then went into the finance department and met with a very nice and friendly man who helped us get the right financing to fit our specific budget. We were told about extra warranties and all sorts of different options. Things went smoothly and quickly no snags. We had a great experience with the sales team and finance department would highly recommend them.

Interesting visit. I was in for service on my vehicle. I plan to replace it either next fall or in the spring. I walked around the lot and looked at brochures in the showroom. Not one person spoke let alone approached me. I will stop in at the Ford dealer [my other preferred vehicle] to see if they are also as disinterested. I would say the service department was exceptional... cleaned the car and close for pick up. Big plus.

I do not recommend this dealer ship what so ever. Oursales guy was good and polite. Thats the only thing positive I would say about this particular dealership. It was always a run around and errors on their behalf to get things done. Buying a car is suppose to be an enjoyable experience. Ive bought many cars from dealerships and never dealt with such horrible communication and customer service. Pretty much after u buy a car at Kia of Rochester MN, your just a payment in the books with no appreciation. Repeated phone calls to management with no response. Pretty much just laughed it off and lies. I would for sure recommend a different dealership. A little compassion for difficulty in car buying process would be appreciated. Had to file with corporate to actually get some action done. So make sure u shop around when u do decide to buy the vehicle u want. I know 1000s of people so this will be public on more social media then just hear to how bad of an experience we had with Tom Kadelac Kia of Rochester MN..... So sad...

They SOLD my dad a Kia with a bumper to bumper warranty and up to 100,000 miles and they took it away from him right when we were closing and didn’t do a single thing about it. they falsely advertised the car with the warranty and said it wasn’t a valid warranty right at the last minute! They didn’t take care of him and wasted so much of our time. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! THEY SCREWED UP AND JUST SAID “sorry, nothing we can do.” Skip this one. Special thanks to Terry the manager who didn’t care.

Overall the service we received was great. The only reason we couldn’t give a “5” rating is that we had to drive back a second time to pickup our car because the part was sent to the wrong dealership. Our drive is 1 1/2 hours each way so it was a bit of a stretch to do that 2 times this week. The Service staff, however, are exceptional and very professional
I am always treated very nice when I take my Kia Soul in for oil change or any service needed. They are fast and efficient, and I’m always kept in the loop on what’s going on. If anything is needed they talk to me and explain it all. Kia is very good to work with! If and when I’m ready to buy a new car.... Kia is definitely the place I’ll go again!

Jason, and his top notch service team have never let me down. Honest, frank, and above all extremely professional, I have always felt that KIA strives to put its best face forward in how they approach their business, and the Tom Kadlec KIA service team certainly fits that bill.
The employees are great! They were able to get me approved even with low score! Unfortunately I was not able to find anything that I actually felt comfortable driving off the lot. The first two cars I looked at were not in the best of shape (obviously not there fault there used cars) I did finally find a 2014 Impala that I would have driven off the lot. But during my test drive I found that there was a piece of tape blocking the check engine light. At that point I couldn’t buy the vehicle and feel confident in my purchase. Honesty is the best policy and that did not make me feel confident. I checked the car fax when I got home and the vehicle has supposedly been maintence at the dealer ship. I don’t believe it. The car fax states there was a alignment done and the vehicle needed an alignment very badly on my test drive.(not a big deal alignments are to be expected) but don’t put it in the car fax if it wasn’t done.
We love our new 2018 KIA Optima. It has all the options we were looking for with low miles and at a fair price as well. Working with Anthony Gideo sales and John Steger business manager was a breeze. Anthony was very knowledgeable on all the features of the car we bought as he previously owned the same model. This really helped make the delivery process go smoothly and fast. This dealership really delivered - I spoke with them on Tuesday and said I would like to pickup this car the next day. (Wednesday) I didnt think it would be ready because I needed financing and the car needed to be KIA Certified Pre-Owned as well as detailed and washed before I dove 4.5 hours to pick it up. They made it happen and the sales/delivery process went fast. Im impressed!

Anthony was really down to earth and personable. We came in knowing what we wanted, and it didnt feel like he was trying to sell us lots of extras. He was very kind and helpful working with us on a specific and rare credit issue where another dealership refused. He was up front and honest without making any promises before verifying that the issue could be worked around. The person handling finance was very clear and transparent in explaining the lease contract.We left with a 2020 Forte this morning.All around great team, welcoming atmosphere. It is clear that they care more about getting customers into cars with care than making the sale and commission.

I recently purchased a Kia Telluride from Jamie Iverson and absolutely love it. My wife and I stopped in to look at one in August 2020. We liked the Telluride in stock, but Jamie let us know that with $1000 down we could order one to our exact liking. We were told it would be six months until our Telluride was complete and it was delivered in exactly 6 months. Jamie is really fun to work with. He is nonjudgmental and truly cares about your wants and needs when it comes to your new vehicle. He took his time explaining what the different trim options meant and talked about all of the accessory options we had at the time we placed our order. This is the second vehicle I’ve purchased from him. I really believe Jamie’s number one goal is to make his customers 100% satisfied. Same is true for the Finance Manager John Steger. NEGATIVE 3 STARS!!My wife and I found a very lightly used car at tom kadlec Kia in rochester..salesman(J) told us if we have any issues we could return with the 30 day warranty( which is why we bought it there)..had issues two to three days in of owning and are now telling us we need to take it to the manufacturer... salesman lied to us and now they wont take car back! Now our experience here went farther south..wife showed up to get thecar they were looking/working on...they just found the noise after having car for like 4 days( I get weekends arent work day) when she arrived..now they said to bring it to a different dealership in the cities and have them work on it on our time ( diagnostic charge is 100 to 200 bucks)..now I have a noisey new car and a company that doesnt care if they make a wife cry!! Negative 3 stars!!! Never again...ive been in sales 6yrs and this is a joke!! Been one week today since we bought! Never ever will I use tom kadlec again! NEGATIVE 3 STARS!
The people I talked to on the phone and in person were great. Couldnt have asked for better. I have had my car at Tom Cadillac Kia twice. I had asked to have my license plate screws fixed both times (one is cross threaded and the other is just the wrong screw). The second time I watched it them write it on the ticket. And both times it was ignored. It is a minor detail, but still a detail I wanted fixed. I dont live across the street or in town, so getting the car back up there is a pain.
Make sure you get winter tires on the Kia Sorento. They sell a Kia Sorento with their tires and I hardly had any control of the vehicle in the winter. Your pretty much forced to buy winter tires due to this hazard! They dont tell you that when purchasing the Sorento. I called down there and informed them of this liability, but have not received a return phone call from the manager. Informed the service department then transferred to management. Vehicle is brand new 2020 Kia Sorento which loses control on light snow or iced roads.
Mike was great! He allowed me to pick my car and didnt push me into driving/buying something I didnt want. He even gave me tips on how to drive a standard smoothly! Its a friendly place and honestly would recommend to anybody.
